Possible with more frequent version updates?

Hi, would be great if I have Pages make more frequent version updates. Anybody knows whether this is possible?

For the 100th time, I repeat that you are in a users forum.
If you want to ask something to Apple you must use the dedicated channel.
Go to "Provide Pages Feedback" in the "Pages" menu , describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait at least for iWork'11 or 12 ;-)
During the last weeks, Apple engineers were busy upon iWork for iOS.
They added to this set of apps a lot of features of the OSX versions which were missing.
As the result of their job was released yesterdays, we may hope that they will work upon iWork for OSX and deliver soon an "iCloud aware" set of applications.
But honestly, I have no hope for other important changes before january 2012.

Restore as new... if the problem still continues then there is a hardware issue.
If it stops after a restore as new, then the issue is with the backup the device is currently setup with.

Multiple usage of Source System is not possible with installed DMIS version on source

Hello folks!
I`ve got a problem trying to adjust the Data Replication to SAP BW (on HANA) using SAP LT Replication Server.
I`ve deleted one connection and after that I`m trying to create new one through Configuration & Monitoring Dashboard (transaction LTR) with the same source / target systems.
As result when on the second step (Specify Source System) I specify RFC destination of the source system it appears an error with text
"Multiple usage of Source System is not possible with installed DMIS version on source".
But there`s no any adjusted connection in system now..
Please, help me to understand how to fix that problem, I can`t find a solution

When you say that you 'deleted one connection', did you delete the RFC connection or the SLT Configuration? If it is not a real multiple usage scenario, then deactivate the 'allow multiple usage' flag, else install the correct DMIS version on both SLT and source.

OSB installation - replacing log4j with more newer version

Hi,
Is it safe to replace in production a log4j_1.2.8.jar file that is a part of OSB installation with a newer version - log4j-1.2.16.jar?
We try using JBoss JMS client in the domain where OSB is installed, however it requieres at least 1.2.12 version of log4j.

I wouldn't replace any library bundled with WebLogic. I would rather put new jar into the application and set prefer-web-inf-classes to true.

Drop off wifi connection more frequently after update to iOS 5.1

After the system updated to iOS 5.1, the wifi connection on my iPhone 4S drops off more freqently than before. For example, when I updated Galaxy on Fire 2, the wifi lost connection about 5 times. But the connection on my Android tablet and laptop is completely fine.
Did anyone experience the same ?

Check again your list of activated keyboards and make sure only English is there. Then tap the English item once and make sure that it is set to qwerty and not qwertz or azerty under the Software category.

Hi there!
If you want to do a gradient with colors other than the standard BW, you just have to go into the gradient window and double click on one of the markers on the color slider. A color menu should pop up; click on the tiny button in the top right of that menu and change your color mode to RGB. Then you can select your color from there.

DR16-B(2): More frequent firmware update request

First of all sorry for opening a new thread by my first post. I often hate it too at other forums.
As indicated in the title I suggest support to make new firmwares for the BenQ 1620 (Pro) available for the DR16-B(2) clone available sooner.
Right now B7T9 for the BenQ is a month old and proven to be a good FW. Why not rename it into an MSI firmware in two weeks?
I don't want to crossflash this device to a BenQ just because the firmware releases are late.

FWSM Failover - Possible with different hardware versions?

Hi, I need to replace a FWSM module currently running as the primary unit in a failover configuration installed in two 6509s. The replacement FWSM module is a newer hardware version than the current module it is to replace. Obviously I will ensure the same IOS and licenses are installed on the new module but will having a difference in the hardware versions affect the failover configuration?
The faulty module being replaced has the following hardware config:
HW 3.0
FW 7.2(1)
The replacement module has the following config:
HW 4.2
FW 7.2(1)

Daniel, this is a good question for TAC. I do not see any ducumentation on FWSM requiering to be same Hardware version, the failover requires same code and you are correct on that one. I don't think hardware version diferences may affect failover, I would suggest to have it cleared by TAC.

Adobe Reader - how to add page numbers with the free version?

Imagine I've got a PDF file and I want to create a new one by selecting some pages out of it. I know this is simply possible by using the PDFcreator but I want to add page numbers. As far as I know this is not possible with the free version of Adobe unless I would add the page number on every single page by using a text box. I want to make different catalogs from the PDF so the page numbers are really necessary. Have you got any idea how to solve that issue? You know that's pretty much the only thing I need to add which means it's not worth buying the Pro version. Unfortunately I only got the PDF and I can't work on it e.g. with MS word before I export it. Do you know if there is a way to add page numbers with a free version? There might be an additional free software which allows that?

You need to go through 10.6.3 and 10.6.8 to get to 10.7 or 10.8. If you find that 10.6.8 isn't enough, open the Mac App Store and try purchasing Mountain Lion 10.8. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) or better CPU with at least 2GB of RAM, and if it does, phone the online Apple Store and order a download code for Lion 10.7.

So you are saying that you followed all of the steps in the support document for problems with connection, including removing and reinstalling iTunes? You do not say what you have tried, so it is hard to make recommendations. If this is the case, then you have tried resolving driver issues? What if you go to Device Manager and look for the iPhone. You should be able to click on it and see about drivers. You can update/reinstall the device driver.

Correct, Apple have removed that feature. However, you can still see the artwork of the song that's playing; it's shown in the Now Playing indicator at the top of the iTunes window. It is small, but if you click on it, a larger version pops up.
Also, in Albums View, you can see the album artwork.

Updating JournalEntries object with more than one currency fails

I'm using SBO 6.50 (exactly CEE version 7.60.014 SP:01 EF:08).
   I'm trying to update memo field of existing journal entries. Most of them works OK, but if I try to update entry with more than one currency, update fails with an error code -5002 and message:
   Transaction includes more than one currency [OCRN].
Code (in C++) is quite simple:

What's wrong? Using multiple currencies in journal entry is correct, it is possible to add them manually so it should be possible to update such an "safe" field as Memo is.

I have the same problem, but if you go to Administration->System Initialization ->Document Settings, select "Per Document", and in Document, choose "Journal Entry", by default, the options are clicked, or "Blocked", this is why in DI yoy get this message.
Try to unchecked and it will work.
