Post 10.3 upgrade i started getting a lot of issues1) The apps minimize on its own.2) Call disconnect/connect the options/animation are late in responding. Call receive and disconnect is not smooth and fast considering 1.5 GB RAM even 1GB androids are faster.3) Never seens the BB Maps working.4) Wi-fi direct does not recognize nearby android device which has wifi direct on so faster transfer is not possible. Neither android software like shareit work.5) Phone is too slow even though i dont have many softwares installed.6) Internet browsers close down automatically and when i tried a UC browser from android market(amazonapp store) that also had the same issue so uninstalled that.Please suggest what is wrong with my Z3 an my experience which was great with the new Z3 initially is now fading out and i feel like selling it off in just 4-5 month of use.

OK...then reload that one...the key is reloading the OS, whatever version it is. As for the version info, what is offered to you is controlled by others (normally your carrier)...you won't receive an offer via the official methods for anything newer until they approve it. The most common thing to do after an update that results in issues is to perform an OS reload. Sometimes, the update processes have errors and such...with a reload often curing the issues. The SUID differences should be take care of if you download and apply the 10.5.6 combo update.
As for the other permissions, I believe the OS has created a "link" between the new permissions and the old, rather than replacing with the current.
Neither set of issues is a problem, unless your applications start acting up--which shouldn't happen.

HT2573 I can't get safari to load the apple express lane web page post mountain lion upgrade ? Other pages now also will not load

Post the lion upgrade safari will now not load some pages....apple express lane start page for one....other secure sites such as web payments sites too. Also I can not get AirPlay mirroring on safari.....which works fine on the ipad.
I have tried downloading and installing the update twice....no change.
Any ideas !

Camera started getting blurred after software upgrade on my ipad air

I upgraded my iOS and my camera started getting blurred. Can not take photos or videos anymore. What do I do please? It's an ipad air.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Post-Oct2013 service upgrade behaviors

I have noticed a number of behaviors and issues that appeared that would lead someone looking at the manage.microsoft.com console to have concerns.
Here is my experience
Shortly after the maintenance cycle completed on the North American pool that I am hosted on (4-6 hours later) all of the Windows 8.0 computers that were internet connected started
getting messages about Intune updating a device. (Turns out that the device was the computer but end users were thinking Printer/Video/etc.)
Some few hours (not minutes) later the little Intune management icon on the task bar would disappear
Sometimes at the same time or a bit later EndPoint Protection would go away (often noticed when the windows "action center" flag pops up with a message about being unprotected)
---Typically by this point the management portal starts reporting issues with clients such as:
Agent health - Agents that are not reporting (often showing that has not connected in 156+ days)
Agent health - Agents that are not installed
Policy Errors
Now on the clients you will be in there odd position of having clients that have a popup telling them that Intune needs them to reboot their computer --
Howerver there seems to be a notification service has not yet deployed which seems to prevent EndPoint from being enabled.
After the reboot of the client computer if you run the Intune Center and then try to launch EndPoint it will tell you talk to your administrator to enable EndPoint protection.
Note: So far it seems (not sure) to produce better results to not reboot until at least 2 hours after the intune icon is back.
Even after the client OS seems happy – (i.e. Intune management agent is running, EndPoint Protection is running) there are still some odd behaviors from the client:
* From within EndPoint protection, telling the client to run an update produces an error - mostly about unable to connect
Now on the management console (even 24 hours later)
most computers were that were showing as not installed where at least now showing "Agent not reporting" -- still with the 154 to 159 days since last report. Drilling into the specific computer and then clicking on the error link allows you to jump
to a troubleshooting webpage which suggests rebooting the client computer.
After the client is rebooted (locally, not remotely) and waiting another 10-12 hours later most of the computers no longer have agent health issues or policy issues.
I am now seeing that I have an update to make additional approvals for (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2852565/en-us)
which is odd - I would have thought that updating the new management agent would have been the latest or that any such update would be mandatory, not something which would need additional approvals.
48 hours later --
Client computers seem to be working - 2 reboots each – one performed without automation.
Management console for all but one computer seems happy (other than the Operations Manager SP3 KB update for approval referenced above).
Oddly - deployed software (i.e. that was deployed through the Intune - Managed Software system) seems to have been re-triggered or re-evaluated. Looking at the (Groups->All Devices
-> All computers) the computer summary it shows under software summary "X devices which do not meet software requirements"
I suspect that is because the software is already deployed - but its odd.
I provide all of the above information as A) I don’t know if this experience is “as expected” and B) maybe it will help others as they are being
upgraded now.
I REALLY wish that the intune client upgrade process did NOT disable endpoint protection at all, much less the hours that most of my systems seem
to have been “unprotected”

I start the Firefox browser.
When the start page displays I get just below the Google search box:

Not unusual but when I go to the update site it searches for a minute and then tells me that I have the current version of the software.

If you use the www.google.com/firefox site as home page that previous Firefox 3 versions use as the home page then you can ignore the message about not using the latest Firefox version on that page. 
Google no longer seems to maintain that page. 
Current Firefox 4+ versions no longer use that Google website as the home page, but use the build-in about:home page as the home page. 
Google assumes that you use an older Firefox version if you still visit that site and warns you that you use an older Firefox version and suggests to update. 
You can use another page as the home page like about:home or www.google.com or www.google.com/ig (iGoogle).

I downloaded Firefox Setup 8.0.1.exe from the website to my desktop and opened it as an administrator. The available choice (once opened) was to upgrade. When the process was complete my version of Firefox was identified as 8.0.1 but the main screen still said - "You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web!"

This - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Firefox Start Page used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I don't think it is being maintained.
Starting with the Firefox 4 version, Firefox is using a "local" Start Page with the address of '''about:home'''. It looks similar to the old Start Page, but it isn't exactly the same.

tripod with 'fluid head', lights, more lights, ND filters set, ext. microphone(s) at last a shotgun and a lav, ext audio recorder (I'm abusing my ol' iPhone4 and a tiny box called iRig, which offer XLR connector), did I mention lights? , a good bag and a waterproof, lockable aluminium box, soft boxes for light, maybe a shoulder rig (starting at 80€), 200sq ft of some green cloth for green screening (if your school doesn't offer a 'studio') FCPX does marvel with even really bad lighted green screens, those handy foldable 'brighteners'/reflectors, to bounce light ('Rembrandt lightning') … finally tons of odds and ends, starting with gaffer tape, ending with SDcards ...
And DO things, try things, play with your stuff, make experiments just for the trash bin!

Starting getting text error message 2114 invalid number of digits.Contacted carrier with no response, getting fed up that this problem cannot be resolved, in the middle of maying funeral arrangements and started getting the same message

they can text me but I cannot respond to them - now in the middle of receiving info on a death in the family - started getting the same message, and
the day before all text's were going through fine. Have contacted carrier no one seems to know how to solve the problem. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER RIGHT NOW!

First, uninstall "SuperTV" (whatever that is) according to the developer's instructions. It isn't working and it's filling the log with noise.
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Post the messages logged before the boot, while the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract.
Post the log text, please, not a screenshot. If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message. When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
PLEASE DO NOT INDISCRIMINATELY DUMP THOUSANDS OF LINES FROM THE LOG INTO A MESSAGE. If you do that, I will not respond.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.

Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the most recent one, if any. My macbook has recently started getting really hot after using it for a brief time, is there something wrong

My macbook has started getting really hot after using it for only maybe 10 minutes or so, it can go up to 73 degrees quite quickly, I am only surfing the net etc but have a few pages open at the same time.
Also should I switch it off after I finish using it or is it ok to leave it in sleep mode for long periods of time......

This can occur if you bought the machine used and iLife was reinstalled with another AppleID.
This also can occur if the "free apps" you downloaded have paid upgraded versions and/or are now payware and you can't get updates.
All software from MAS is copy protected, it might be free as in "no charge" but it's not free in the sense you can share it with others.

Won't read cds/need to upgrade or start over?

I am having problems with certain cds/dvds that my ibook reads then ejects w/o loading. Some work, some don't...no real logic behind what it will open and will not. From reading different posts not sure if I should get an external hard drive and backup and completely erase everything and reinstall 10.3, if an upgrade to 10.4 will fix it, or an external dvd/cd drive? Any ideas on how to narrow down my issue? Thanks!

About this mac does not have anything to do with the problem here. You have to bring the MacBook to your local Apple Store and have the Genius Bar look at it. If your roommate still has warranty on the MacBook, the Genius Bar will replace the CD drive for free.

Me and my team member suddenly started getting following error when try to execute SSIS Package in SSDT (VS 2010)
I searched everywhere but virtually no information available about this Error. Anyone has suggestion on how to fix this error?
NOTE: Tried to execute package from command line and it works...

According to your description, the SSIS package works fine when you execute it with command line, when you execute it in SSDT, you got the error message: Unable to start program 'DTS'.
To troubleshoot the problem, I would suggest you to upgrade SSDT to latest patch. Please refer to the following steps:
Download and install the latest Microsoft SQL Server Service Pack.
Cumulative Update package SQL Server Service Pack.
Download and install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Feature Pack 2.
