Post budget document from approved pre-posted budget document workflow

Hi,
We are using budget version "0" for AVC Check and "1" for provision budget used for sending further approvals.
I am uploading provisional budget i.e Pre-posted budget with version "1"  and sending  two levels for approvals by using SAP Standard workflow.
If pre-posted budget document approved by 2 levels, what is impact on budget posted document?
                   a) Will Pre-posted approved document be convert into Actual budget document with Version "0" (or)
                   b) Will Pre-posted document remain same by updating status with "approved", there by User again needs to post actual budget document with Version "0" by using "FMBB"
Please help me
Regards
Sam

CA Sam,
The Pre-posted document will remain the same i.e.approved version 1. In order to create version 0 you can copy from version to version.
Thanks
Shyam

  • Prevent negative budget after a transfer (pre-post status)

I have a situation where the system allows budget transfers (with insufficient budget) to pre-post using FMBB. The scenario is as follows...
                           Cur      Exp   Avail
    FundCenterA     100     50     50
    FundCenterB     200     25     175
Although only 50 is available in fund center A, the system allows the user to pre-post a transfer for more than 50 (75 for instance) from fund center A to B.
After the initiator creates the pre-post transfer document, approval of the transfer is attempted by a budget analyst, but the document remains in pre-post status and the analyst can't take any further action.
Can preventing this be accomplished through consistency checks causing the initiator to get a hard error? If so, how or why not? If it cannot be done using consistency checks then what are my choices.

I looked back at note 983853.  The last bullet under the solution suggested...
"Create and assign a tolerance profile that contains absolute variances, which triggers an error message for the absolute variance equal to the value 0."
Instead of creating a new tolerance profile which I have attempted in the past, I changed the existing profile to include absolute variances as well as usage rates...and added two separate tolerance limits for activity of posted budget 90 and budget posted provisionally 95 and set them for absolute variance only of the value 0.
Both 90 and 95 had to be changed because...
When only activity 95 is changed for absolute variance, the check document feature (F7) does not detect a negative budget but attempting to pre-post will result in an error.
When only activity 90 is changed for absolute variance, the check document feature detects the negative budget but pre-post will not detect an error and allow the user to proceed.
Therefore both 90 and 95 are needed together.

  • If I move documents from 'All My Files' to 'Documents' should they still appear in 'All My Files'? Why are they in both places, that seems like doubling the documents?

If I move pages from 'All My Files' to 'Documents' should they still appear in both places?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Of course. "All my Files" look in all your folders for documents, pictures... and it shows all of them there even if you have them in Documents folder. Don't worry about it

  • Creation of a new document from the output of another document.

    Hi all

    Hi,
There is a simple solution provided by SAP to trigger the BILLING DOCUMENTS for Deliveries
    This is a standard process
Setup a Job in SM36 for the program SDBILLDL and it will pick all the delivery document which are open on that particular Billing date
    and process the Billing documents
Alternatively you can also create the IDOC to trigger the BILLING DOCUMENTS
For which you need to setup the PARTNER PROFILES, MESSAGE TYPES, PORT, RFC DESTINATION, SEGMENT CREATION,
But i would suggest you to go with the standard program to create the Billing documents

  • Copy document from one library to other when workflow is completed in sharepoint.

I have created a state machine workflow for document library for template approval process .When workflow is completed ,i need to need to copy that document to other library on the same site.
    Regards,

SharePoint Designer has a "Copy list item" workflow action on it.  I'm, not sure if this is accessible via Visual Studio but if it's not, you can create a re-usable workflow in SPD with a view of importing it into VS.  It should, in
theory give you the code equivalent of the SPD Action.

  • Fetching preceding documents from VBFA by passing subsequent document

    Hi Folks,
Here my requirement is to fetch preceding documents  by giving subsequent documents as input to tableVBFA(document flow). As there is no index present on the field VBELN and POSNN it takes long time to retrieve data based on these fields.Creating secondary index is not possible. I have also tried with function module 'SD_VIEW_VBFAVG'  as it takes single VBELN input, i have to place this in a loop in order to get preceding documents for range of VBELN.  Please let me know if there is any other way of doing this. Immediate help is appreciated.

  • How to get sales order data in substitution of fi-docu from GM posting ?

How to get sales order data in substitution of FI documents from goods movement posting?
When I posting a material document with movement type "501E", the system will creating a FI document automatically. And I need to get the sales order data in the substitution of FI document.
I tried to export the data of the material document in user-exit "MB_CF001 Updating of material document data upon posting", but this user-exit does not triggered in the posting process at all. what's the problem?
Do you have better solution or idea for this? Please help me. Thank you!

    Hello Harish,
Please use BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_GETDETAILMUL to read details of sales order. This works as a remote enabled counterpart of CRM_ORDER_READ.
Similarly if you want to display sales order from R/3, use FM BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_DISPLAY.

  • Move document from one environment to another when document is approved

Are you writing a custom workflow or you are using out of the box approval workflow?
Regardless the best option for you is to use two step approach.
    1) When document is approved using Copy.CopyIntoItems Method to copy document to your extranet farm. You will have to rely on web services given you are communicating between two farms.
Copies a document represented by a Byte array to one or more locations on a
    server.
    2) Once the document is copied then your List.asmx to delete from original location.
    How to: Update List Items
If you are using out of the box approval workflow then best way to automate this is using event receivers. If this is custom workflow then write your code in the workflow using code activity.

  • Open document from interactive report

    Application Express version 4.0.2.00.07.
In apex I am trying to accomplish the following:
    1. create a link to a pdf or Word document stored on local network using the file browse button.
    2. store the link to that file in my table but not store the actual document in the oracle table.
    3. open the document from link in interactive report.
My dba does not want to store anymore documents into oracle because of performance issues we are experiencing with current applications that do this. Does anyone know the where to find sample code that will accomplish this task or will load the linked document into the oracle table but delete the document from the blob when the document is closed.

You're probably looking to use the BFILE functionality - a pointer to a LOB on the filesystem.
Try looking at some of the following sources for guidance

    Hi,
Based on the error message, I recommend to verify the things below:
    1.  Check the permission of your account on the documents and the library.
    2.  Check if the library has set the Information Rights Management(IRM).
Please go to the library settings > Information Rights Management under Permissions for Management.
    https://support.office.microsoft.com/en-us/article/Apply-Information-Rights-Management-to-a-list-or-library-3bdb5c4e-94fc-4741-b02f-4e7cc3c54aa1?CorrelationId=77e3484e-beb9-4d73-9e06-90bea5206f0d&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US
    3.  Does this issue occur with all the libraries and documents in the site? Please add your account as site collection administrator and then check the results.
    Thanks,

  • Save document from word into sharepoint library does not work !

    Hi,
I'm trying to resolve a problem that i have with word and my sharepoint website.
Some of my users have to open and RDP session on a windows 2008 server and work from there. They open their session with their credential and they do everything they do in local on sharepoint using IE.
BUT, we have always and ever had an issue on this server as they c'ant save a document (Word or Excel) from office. They have to upload it from sharepoint uising IE. In example, i want to save my document from word into the sharepoint document library I  have
    this error message :
"Windows doesn't find (http://intranet.sharepoint.com/DocumentLibrary/). Check and retry".
If I open my sharepoint site and i upload the document it works perfectly. Also if I open and edit an existing document from any library it will work with word. The problem seems to happen when i want to browse sharepoint from word for saving files...
As this server is a windows 2008, IE version is 9 and the office version is the same as on all computers (Office 2010 SP2 32Bit)
    Any help would by appreciated
    Regards

    Hi,
I understand you encountered the issue when save document from Office client application to SharePoint 2010 site.
Is there any Proxy settings in networking side? Please bring up IE > Internet options > Connections > Lan settings. If so, please uncheck options in Proxy server and test the issue again.
If you have deploy GPO to add SharePoint site into Trusted sites, please check if there is any other GP associated with trusted sites that might affect the issue. You could also remove it from Trusted sites via IE options and test the issue again.
In addition, please provide more error message to help narrow down the issue, you could locate error information in Event log at least.

  • View CRM billing document from FB03 - Accounting document

I am working with a client who creates some orders in R3 and now some in CRM.
The orders are billed in their respective system.
The CRM billing is then transfered via BDOC's into R3 which create an accounting document.
However, in the environment tab, there is no original document.
Does anyone know if you can access via some form of document flow or function module call from R3 to go direct to the CRM billing document?

    Hi Mark
I noticed that your Forum has now been answered.  Could you please share how you resolved the issue of displaying a CRM billing document from FB03 as an "original document".
    Many thanks,

  • How to open the pdf document from KM  through Link to URL UI element

    Hi All,
I have Link to URL UI element  in webdynpro java layout - on click of the link we need to open the pdf document from KM respository.
    KM Document location : irj/go/km/docs/documents/RHPortal//USA/A/Test/Employee_details.pdf.
Once this is transported to Test and Production portals , we need to retrieve the KM document from the respective portal location through the Link to URL UI element .
    Thanks,
    Portaluser100

    Hi,
If you set the link to your document in a Context attribute by using a relative path this should work just fine.
    Example:
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setUrl("/irj/go/km/docs/documents/RHPortal//USA/A/Test/Employee_details.pdf");
Bind that attribute to the reference property of the LinkToURL element.
    Cheers,

  • Reading a PDF document from my browser

When I want to read a PDF document from my browser (Firefox), the document automatically gets downloaded and saved to My Documents.  Then I have to click on downloads or go the My Documents to read it. Then if I don;t want to save the document I have to do in a delete it. How can I just read the document from my browser without saving it?

Firefox uses its own PDF viewer, not the Adobe Reader plugin; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-browser-plugin-configuration.html
