Post directly into COPA W/O FI update

Hi All
Some disounts are posted into FI without  getting posted into COPA in previous periods. Now I want to post those discounts directly into COPA with out updating FI. Is there any transaction to do that?
Thanks in advance

Try TOCDE KE21N.
Enter the characteristics and value fields. Before that select the record type as B.
It works for me. This populates value only in COPA.

  • .flac directly into iTunes 7? Any updates?

I went through the archives and people mention MAX, Toast and several others but isn't there a way to import directly now? I tried that component plug in by Xiph but it doesn't work.
I want to archive my whole collection and after loads of sound tests I found creating a .flac sounds better than Apple Lossless. Now I need to get those files directly into iTunes.
    TIA!

You should use Windows Migration Asistant to move all your data (you can pick and choose), not just iTunes.

  • Direct Delta, queued , Non-serialized V3 Update

could someone out here help me in understanding the Direct Delta, queued , Non-serialized V3 Update...
i mean a detailed level explanation.... or just in case u have any document then kindly pass it on.... to [email protected]

    Hi,
    Update Methods,
    a.1: (Serialized) V3 Update
    b. Direct Delta
    c. Queued Delta
    d. Un-serialized V3 Update
Direct Delta: With this update mode, the extraction data is transferred with each document posting directly into the BW delta queue. In doing so, each document posting with delta extraction is posted for exactly one LUW in the respective BW delta queues.
Queued Delta: With this update mode, the extraction data is collected for the affected application instead of being collected in an extraction queue, and can be transferred as usual with the V3 update by means of an updating collective run into the BW delta queue. In doing so, up to 10000 delta extractions of documents for an LUW are compressed for each DataSource into the BW delta queue, depending on the application.
Non-serialized V3 Update:With this update mode, the extraction data for the application considered is written as before into the update tables with the help of a V3 update module. They are kept there as long as the data is selected through an updating collective run and are processed. However, in contrast to the current default settings (serialized V3 update), the data in the updating collective run are thereby read without regard to sequence from the update tables and are transferred to the BW delta queue.
Note: Before PI Release 2002.1 the only update method available was V3 Update. As of PI 2002.1 three new update methods are available because the V3 update could lead to inconsistencies under certain circumstances. As of PI 2003.1 the old V3 update will not be supported anymore.
    (serialized) V3
    • Transaction data is collected in the R/3 update tables
    • Data in the update tables is transferred through a periodic update process to BW Delta queue
    • Delta loads from BW retrieve the data from this BW Delta queue
    Transaction postings lead to:
    1. Records in transaction tables and in update tables
    2. A periodically scheduled job transfers these postings into the BW delta queue
    3. This BW Delta queue is read when a delta load is executed.
    Issues:
    • Even though it says serialized , Correct sequence of extraction data cannot be guaranteed
    • V2 Update errors can lead to V3 updates never to be processed
    direct delta
    • Each document posting is directly transferred into the BW delta queue
    • Each document posting with delta extraction leads to exactly one LUW in the respective BW delta queues
    Transaction postings lead to:
    1. Records in transaction tables and in update tables
    2. A periodically scheduled job transfers these postings into the BW delta queue
    3. This BW Delta queue is read when a delta load is executed.
    Pros:
    • Extraction is independent of V2 update
    • Less monitoring overhead of update data or extraction queue
    Cons:
    • Not suitable for environments with high number of document changes
    • Setup and delta initialization have to be executed successfully before document postings are resumed
    • V1 is more heavily burdened
    queued delta
    • Extraction data is collected for the affected application in an extraction queue
    • Collective run as usual for transferring data into the BW delta queue
    Transaction postings lead to:
    1. Records in transaction tables and in extraction queue
    2. A periodically scheduled job transfers these postings into the BW delta queue
    3. This BW Delta queue is read when a delta load is executed.
    Pros:
    • Extraction is independent of V2 update
    • Suitable for environments with high number of document changes
    • Writing to extraction queue is within V1-update: this ensures correct serialization
    • Downtime is reduced to running the setup
    Cons:
    • V1 is more heavily burdened compared to V3
    • Administrative overhead of extraction queue
    Un-serialized V3
    • Extraction data for written as before into the update tables with a V3 update module
    • V3 collective run transfers the data to BW Delta queue
    • In contrast to serialized V3, the data in the updating collective run is without regard to sequence from the update tables
    Transaction postings lead to:
    1. Records in transaction tables and in update tables
    2. A periodically scheduled job transfers these postings into the BW delta queue
3.This BW Delta queue is read when a delta load is executed.
    Issues:
    • Only suitable for data target design for which correct sequence of changes is not important e.g. Material Movements
    • V2 update has to be successful
    Hope this helps

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

After software update I can't drag  songs from iTunes directly into Garageband timeline, always could before, how can I fix this?

Same problem here but figured it out: Drag the song from the Media Browser tab (after selecting iTunes at the top) at the bottom right when you open a new GarageBand project. Hope this helps you -- working perfectly for me!

  • CS4--Cannot Open JPGs directly into PS

I'm using Vista 32. After updating to CS4 I can no longer open jpg files directly into PS by clicking on the file in windows explorer or an e-mail. After much searching and looking for file associations, I was able to get jpgs to open into Bridge from windows explorer, but still cannot get them to open directly in PS. When I attempt to open a jpg from an e-mail message, I get a window in Bridge pointed to a temp folder. I did not have this problem with CS3, but am really at a loss for a fix. Anyway know what to do???
    TIA,
    Fran

Thank you to all for suggestions. I am posting the solution in case other people run into the same problem. This is a registry issue. Run CCleaner until there are no problems to fix. You will then be able to use "open with" to associate both the psd and jpg files with CS4. At least, it worked for me.

  • Can connect to internet when plugged directly into linksys cable modem but

I have an Airport Extreme router, am running Windows Xp, and can connect to the internet when I plug my laptop directly into my linksys cable modem. I can also connect to the internet when I plug directly into the airport extreme via cat 5 cable. However, when I try to connect wirelessly via airport extreme, I cannot get on the internet, even though it shows I have excellent signal strength on the laptop, have a solid green light on the airport, and all lights look right on the cable modem. It says something about error -6753. This is what I am doing now; I am connected to the airport via cat 5 cable, and am downloading all software / firmware updates for the airport, do you think this will fix my problem? How do I diagnose if my problem is with the wireless settings on the laptop, or with the airport? thanks, this is extremely aggravating.

Welcome to the discussions forums airporteggstreme.
I found a couple of posts that may be relevant. They point to the fact that your PC may be looking for a different address when it's connected wirelessly versus its wired connection. I believe you'll solve the problem by making sure both your Airport and your PC are configured to get their IP addresses via DHCP. If all else fails "hard reset" your Airport, unplug your PC's Ethernet cable and set it up wirelessly. That should work.
    Here's the link: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/228336.html
It refers to an Express but the Extreme will be similar. If you scroll way down you'll find the following:
In order to configure the Airport Express you not only need to connect to it as the access point but *also need to treat it as a DHCP server.*
If you connect the the AE as a base station but do not have "Obtain IP address automatically" in your network settings you will receive error code -6753. I racked my brain on that for a while after doing a number of hard resets. Once I went into my PC's network settings and removed the manual IP address I had set there (192.168.15.104) and set for automatic ip address retrieval I was able to configure the AE using the admin utility.
Once you have finished configuring the base station and set it to join your existing network, you can change your PC's IP back to whatever you need for your own purposes.

  • Uploading directly into public_html, not into a subfolder

When I publish to my domain name (not MobileMe), iWeb puts my site into a sub-folder named after the site name in iWeb. It also puts an index.html page directly into public_html, if I'm not mistaken. The address for any particular page then includes the extra stuff, something like: www.sitename.com/theextrafoldername/description.html .
I don't want all that extra stuff in the address! Every time I update the site, I have to move the contents of that sub-folder to public_html through Cyberduck. Anyone know how to have iWeb publish that site directly into public_html? Thanks in advance!

    Thanks Ethmoid,
That's what I'm trying to do too. I was hoping it'd work well enough, but iWeb has gotten completely busted in the process. Modified pages would upload – with only two or three images in their associated folders, and at this point, after uploading the entire site, iWeb will only publish the feed.xml page!
Just trying a few more times, iWeb is back to uploading the whole site properly... I'll post here again in the next few days... Also, Cyberduck is consistently giving me "folder not found" errors when moving and overwriting more than a few files at a time. I'm going to try the process with FileZilla, and post that too...

  • I tried to update my sons iPad and now it won't turn on or off just a picture of a cable and I tunes symbol. Can it be fixed or is it broken I've seen posts saying their iPads died after doing updates.

I tried to update my sons iPad now it won't turn on or off it shows a cable and iTunes symbol tried holding down sleep button & screen button but no luck does this mean it's Broken I've seen posts saying their iPad died after doing updates.

It's not broken, it just means that the iPad has gone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
You will need to connect the iPad, via its cable, to a computer's iTunes (you will need an up-to-date version of iTunes installed on the computer), and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync the content to it.

Is the status light on the Extreme green? If you launch AirPort Utility, select the Extreme in the column on the left, and click on "Manual Setup", what do you see for "IP Address" at the bottom of the Summary panel?
Did you unplug your DSL modem and wait several minutes before reapplying power whenever you switch between connecting the Extreme or your Mac to the modem?

  • COPA - SD Condition Type value flow into COPA - Sign

    Dear Experts,
We have a scenario where an SD condition type has been created which permits both positive & negative. However, the value goes into COPA only as Positive.
In KE4i we enabled the check box Transfer +/-, however the values doesn't flow correctly in COPA.
There is no issue with FI.
    Example:
    Condition Type
    ZREB   Discount                  -   3000
ZHKP   Rebate on Disc        -  (1000)
Net is 2000, however in COPA it is updated as 4000. Both the above condition types are mapped to same GL and Value field.
    Any inputs will really help.
    regards
    Diwakar

    Dear Sarada,
I read the notes but still have a question -
In my case the sales order is type ZXX3 (return w/o reference). The customer makes order of the said type via VA01, then creates outbound delivery via VL01N, then releases billing block via VA02 and finally creates billing document via VF01.
In VA01 there are two condition types ZXX7(discount) - Rs 200 & ZXX8(discount margin) - Rs. 100 appearing with a negative sign in condition value. When  the customer makes the billing document via VF01he manually enters one more condition type ZXX9 (extra discount / surcharge) + Rs. 50 ..for this scenario its sort of discount received back / surcharge). Hence in the billing document the above two conditions ZXX7 & ZXX8 are deducted and ZXX9 is added.(-200-100+50 = -250)
Presently in KE24 for this billing document  the discounts appear as - xxx (discount) -xxx (discount margin & -xxx (surcharge)... The issue here is surcharge though positive is getting added up and only one consolidated figure is coming (-350)
I checked the transfer +/- checkbox in KE4I for ZXX7 & ZXX8 and then rechecked. The netting is being done but the negative sign does not appear now which is wierd. (250)
Can you let me know whether the values appearing in COPA after changing the setting are correct or not. I use ECC6
    Thanks

  • Inbound idoc posting directly even with 'Trigger by background' option

We have inbound idocs coming into ECC from Siebel via PI. The partner profile is setup for "Trigger by background program' .So that we can run the job RBDAPP01 to sweep these status 64 idocs. But we don't get a chance as the idocs are getting posted directly(its already in status 51 or 53) as if we used the 'Trigger Immediately' option. Where could the problem lie ? Is there a possibility of some RFC call from PI overriding the Partner Profile config ? Any advice or useful tip is welcome!
    thanks,
    S

    Hi,
I guess you can still check in the control record for EDIDC-EXPRSS - Overriding in inbound processing, the documentation of the Data Element EDI_EXPRSS is as below
    Short Text
    Overriding in inbound processing
    General
This field determines for ALE whether a time schedule is to be deactivated for inbound processing and replaced by immediate processing.

  • Cannot insert a picture (image - BLOB) directly into a report field?

    Hello
I am new to APEX and I am trying to create a table with an image together with an input form and an output report but I am having difficulty in displaying the image in the report field.
    My work so far:
1 I am using APEX to generate a table with a BLOB, Filename and Last_Update_Date fields.
2 I have followed the article on the http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/apex/apex31nf/apex31blob.htm.
3 The title is: 'Defining and Viewing BLOB Data in Oracle Application Express 3.1'
4 I have generated the table, form and report.
5 I have downloaded the image as an attachment and inline on the form Ok.
6 I have successfully downloaded an image on the report with the words image as a link in the report field. Note the http path is: http://glkas0892v.greenlnk.net:7777/pls/htmldbDEV/apex_util.get_blob_file?a=475&s=7094501042405784&p=3&d=1360784770040764381&i=1360783771822764369&p_pk1=123&p_pk2=&p_ck=2F17C4FBDE22B25A02026F67AB59D4F0&p_content_disposition=inline
7 I have unsuccessfully tried to insert the image directly into a report field itself. The report displays the picture as a symbol with a cross.
Note the http path is: http://glkas0892v.greenlnk.net:7777/pls/htmldbDEV/apex_util.get_blob?s=7094501042405784&a=475&c=1360779972416764351&p=2&k1=&k2=&ck=4BFA878ADD2028D2E9B127BB03F78B8D&rt=CR
7a I have reduced the size of the images to 20 by 30 pixels but no joy.
    Conclusion
The only difference I can see is that in 6 the command in the path is apex_util.get_blob_file? But in 7, unsuccessful, the command in the path is apex_util.get_blob?
Please help me as there must be some one out there who has experienced the same situation.
    Thanks
    Brian

My colleague has found the answer. A known fault exists within APEX 3.1 in that the Blob declaration must be after the Last update declaration and then the image displays correctly on the report.

  • HT4623 in trying to update my new ipad, i follow directions of settings- general-then software updates.  Mine has no software updates listed.  How do I proceed?

I am trying to update my new ipad and in following the directions of "settings"- "general"- then software update, there is no software update listed.  How do I proceed to update?  Many games for my kids need at least ios.5.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 7.0.4. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.
You can no longer update to iOS 6.x, or down grade the iOS.

iOS: How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623
If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and antivirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.
How to Upgrade to iOS 7
The iOS 7.0 update requires around 2.5 GB of storage space, so if your iPad is almost full, you may need to clear up some space. You can check your available space in Settings -> General -> Usage.
There are two ways to upgrade to iOS 7: You can use your Wi-Fi connection, or you can connect your iPad to your PC and update through iTunes. We'll go over each method.
    To upgrade using Wi-Fi:
Note: If your iPad's battery is under 50%, you will want to plug it into your charger while performing the update.
    Go into the iPad's Settings.
Locate and tap "General" from the menu on the left.
The second option from the top is "Software Update". Tap this to move into the update settings.
Tap "Download and Install". This will start the upgrade, which will take several minutes and will reboot your iPad during the process. If the Download and Install button is grayed out, trying clearing up some space. The space required by the update is mostly temporary, so you should gain most of it back after iOS 7 is installed.
Once the update is installed, you may have to run through the initial steps of setting up your iPad again. This is to account for new features and settings.
    To upgrade using iTunes:
First, connect your iPad to your PC or Mac using the cable provided when you purchased your device. This will allow iTunes to communicate with your iPad.
You will also need the latest version of iTunes. Don't worry, you will be prompted to download the latest version when you launch iTunes. Once it installs, you may be asked to setup iCloud by logging into your iTunes account. If you have a Mac, you may be prompted on whether or not you want to enable the Find my Mac feature.
Now you are ready to begin the process:
If you upgraded iTunes earlier, go ahead and launch it. (For many, it will launch automatically when you plug in your iPad.)
Once iTunes is launched, it should automatically detect that a new version of the operating system exists and prompt you to upgrade to it. Choose Cancel. Before updating, you will want to manually sync your iPad to make sure everything is up to date.
After canceling the dialog box, iTunes should automatically sync with your iPad.
If iTunes doesn't automatically sync, you can manually do it by selecting your iPad within iTunes, clicking on the File menu and choosing Sync iPad from the list.
After your iPad has been synced to iTunes, select your iPad within iTunes. You can find it on the left side menu under Devices.
From the iPad screen, click on the Update button.
After verifying that you want to update your iPad, the process will begin. It takes a few minutes to update the operating system during which time your iPad may reboot a few times.
After updating, you may be asked a few questions when your device finally boots back up. This is to account for new settings and features.
     Cheers, Tom
