Post import of 10g Website archive, resources are not found in path

Hi All,
I am trying to import WCM sample site into newly installed 11gR1 (11.1.1.7.0) using site studio back up and restore utility.

Post importing the site, when i access the pages i could see that images and other resources are not rendering as paths for images could not be resolved.
For eg: the logo image. site is looking for the image at the following path.
/cs/groups/public/documents/wcmwebasset/oracle_logo_15h.png
Where as post import this image is found inside
cs\weblayout\groups\public\documents\wcmwebasset\x2xv\z29f\~edisp\oracle_logo_15h.png
How can we over come such problems?
To give you a a bigger picture, I am working on a POC to migrate a site from 10g to 11g. What is the good startegy to adopt. Right now i am trying to do the following.
1) Install 11g R1 install.
2) Use folder_g as network interface.
2) Export the website from 10g ( I am sure this could be split into multiple steps)
3) Import it into 11g
5) Use the migration utility to move folder interface from folder_g to framework folders.
I did not go for inplace upgrade primarily because customer wants to retain the 10g Install for some more time and did not want to corrupt the existing install.
I appreciate any help in this regard.

Hi Seshan ,
You are seeing the new path for the files because of dispersion rule principle in UCM 11g onwards (which is by default set for file store provider) . This behavior can be changed by the following steps :
1. Check whats the default rule you should navigate to Administration - admin Applets - Configuration Manager - select FileStorage field - Edit and check whats the value set in Default parameter .
It should be DispByContentId
2. Remove dispersion rule from the weblayout / web / vault paths from Administration - Providers - Default File Store - <FSP Rule > - Edit .
3. Update - Update
Before starting with the above action items , you should run a full export archive from the target server (11g) and select the option "Delete contents after successful export" . This will clear the server and it will be a completely clean instance .
Then after the changes to File store provider is completed , server restarted , import the archive created and then it will be with the same path as seen in 10g instance.

Enterprise Portal SAP Resources are not starting on Box2...

Dear SAP World,
We implemented EP HA project using Two server boxes(2 server nodes). we are using first server box for SAP resources and second server box for Oracle DataBase resources. If i try to take SAP resources online on Box2 then SAP is failing to start over there.
I observed on Box2 using SAP MMC that always CI resources are trying to start before SCS starts over there that causes i am getting the following errors on default trace files, like some times CI Resources are not able to attach Message Server Port(3901) and some times CI resources failed to connect Enqueue Server Port(3201).

All the times we observed on Box2 that CI resources are trying to start before SCS resources starts.
There is no problem for SAP resources on Box1. Intitally We installed SAP on Box1 and did the configurations on Veritas Cluster Application for achieving switch over or High Avaliablity environment.

It appears the port 8888 is already in use by another app or the bus is already running. try to identofy the app that is using the 8888 port or just change it to a different port, ensure that you have followed the installation guide and configure all the ftp settings and have added a local HM

Certain websites i.e.google, yahoo, or other search engines are not found in my server. Why? They were last week. I can only access different countries' google search engines. Error 404 comes up repeatedly. Can anyone explain how to fix this?

Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAViewObject; are not valid.

Hi,
The requirement is to limit the results of a query of a search page(iprocurement --> Requisitions)by adding a hard coded condition to a where clause(CREATED_BY LIKE ('%LUMWANA%')).
The limitation,I have is that I am allowed to extend only the controller.So I can not write a service method in application module and append to the where clause.
The OAF developer's guide suggests that the only import from model I can have in controller is OAApplicationModule.
Imports like import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAViewObject; are not valid.
So I can not get the ViewObject in the controller and add new viewcriteria to it.
What are the options that I have with this requirement.Are there any options to get the default view criteria from OAQueryBean and add additional criteria rows to it on page load/On press of GO button in the controller itself.

Resource /analytics not found on this server

I've tried a lot of different things to overcome this issue, but I'll try and keep this brief. Hopefully someone else has encountered a similar problem :-)
I'm getting the following error with I try to access http://localhost:9704/analytics:
"Resource /analytics not found on this server"
My setup:
Windows 7
Oracle DB 11g Release 2 installed locally
OBIEE 10g v10.1.3.2
I installed 11g Release 2 prior to installing OBIEE.
I can connect to databases through both 11g and OBIEE. I have successfully imported database metadata into OBIEE and built a basic repository. When I try to access analytics I get the error.
I also have tried logging into Application Server Control (http://localhost:9704/em/) as oc4jadmin. I get the following error:
"This OC4J is configured to make JMX connections via RMIS and fall back to RMI if the RMIS port is not configured. The RMIS connection on the OC4J local instance is configured but a connection could not be established. The JMX protocol is specified by the oracle.oc4j.jmx.internal.connection.protocol property in opmn.xml"
The only opmn.xml file I find on my system is at C:\OracleBI\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\applications\ascontrol\ascontrol\WEB-INF\config\registration, and it doesn't have the oracle.oc4j.jmx.internal.connection.protocol in it.
I've tried the usual stop/start services, restart the computer, making sure ORACLE_HOME and JAVA_HOME are set. Any suggestions on what else to try?

Thanks again Rachit. I had found those instructions, but since I can't get into Application Server Control, I can't redeploy the war in that way.
Last night I was able to fix my problem. Here is what I ended up doing:
1) Uninstall OBIEE
2) Restart computer
3) Delete any OBIEE files that uninstall left (there was still on OracleBI directory structure)
4) Restart computer again
5) Install the latest *32-bit* JDK. I had the latest *64-bit* version, and had a suspicion that I might need the 32-bit
6) Restart computer
7) Reinstall OBIEE, pointing to the 32-bit JDK install
8) Restart computer
After that I am able to launch presentation services and get into Answers.
I still have one problem to overcome, but that is for another thread if I can't figure it out.

Started OC4J using "start_oc4j.bat"- Resource /em not found on this server

I have installed JDeveloper on Windows XP SP2.
I also have Oracle 10g Express Edition (XE) database installed on my machine.
I tried to start OC4J applications server by clicking the "start_oc4j.bat" found in <jdeveloper_home>--><jdev/bin>

Ok guys I have a problem. A large number of my imports are not found when I type them into my project. I am following a book and there is no mention of this happening so I have no idea what to do. I figure maybe it is about finding libraries and adding them to my view controller but I am not sure what libraries I should add.

Problem restoring my iPod - "Resource was not found"

My iPod hardrive is a little bit dodgy (to say the least.) When I try to connect it to my computer, it comes up with an error message that says "ITunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod."
So I restore it, but then another message pops up that says "There was a problem downloading the iPod software for the iPod “iPod.” The requested resource was not found." and then iTunes stops recognizing my iPod.
Any suggestions?

i was also having the same problem. i seem to have fixed the problem but time will tell.
here is what i did.
1. you have to get rid of itunes 7. i did a lot of reading on the internet looking into error 1418 and 1429 and this is happening to a lot of people after they do the software update. trash everything except the itunes music folder, (where all of your mp3's a stored. don't empty the trash until you have your old songs back on your new old version of itunes 6, just to be safe.
2. find a download for itunes 6. not the easiest thing in the world but you should be able to find it on a bit torrent or ask a friend that might still be running on that to send you a copy.
3. you can try and restore your ipod with the old ipod updater that comes with itunes 6, (2006-01-10). it might not work the first time, it might not work after several. but at least give it a go. mine would update sometimes but then when i tried to play songs on it later it would just tear through songs and not play anything.
4. open up your disk utility program. i ran a repair permissions and repair disk first, both times i got a message saying there was a bad btree situation going on. if you don't get this message, i suggest trying to restore it again before you go to step five.
5. you are going to have to completely erase the **** thing. choose erase and pick the default option that comes up (mac os extended (journaled))
6. your ipod is going to be in disk mode now, don't trip out.
7. run the ipod updater again. once again, mine wouldn't allow me to eject the ipod once it was done so i just restarted it.
after all this, it opened up itunes and asked me to name my ipod. everything has been cool now since this morning. good luck!

Can't open PSD! "Could not complete your request because the required resources were not found."

Hi all,
I am having some serious issues with Photoshop CC and have alread lost a few days of work to a random bug. I have spent the whole day working on Photoshop to try and catch up on the lost work.
I was saving the PSD, closed the document and then tried to reopen it to make a quick change and I got this error: "Could not complete your request because the required resources were not found.". I am now unable to open the PSD.
Has anyone ever seen this and does anyone know if there is a way of resolving the problem?

I found a hack-y way to work around this problem without losing work!
So I discovered fairly quickly that this is an unsolved problem that NO ONE can explain the cause of. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to save your layers without losing progress.
Convert ALL of your layers to a Smart Object.
Right-click on the Smart Object
Click "Export Contents..."
This opens up a Save As... Window, with your file name .PSB
Name & Save.
I then quit Photoshop CS, re-opened, and had all of my layers, folders, and effects intact. The only problem was that my Canvas was as large as my biggest layer (extending beyond my original canvas). Just find the original background layer (or one that originally filled your canvas), Select it (Command + Click on the Layer thumbnail), and Crop it (Image > Crop).

but when I try to run this xml using Ant It,unjar file files replaces code ,make jar again and on deploying it gives following error
BPEL Archive directory {0} not found.
Could you please tell me why this error is coming and how i can resolve it?

*database installation some folders are not found *

Hi
After removing oracle from my machine I have installed oracle 10g again developer successfully on my windows xp machine then I have installed oracle 10g database release 2 successfuly too.
after installation complete they are some files into db_1 folders like
jdbc,ojdbc,bin ...........etc are not found
the only folder found is inventory folder ,I repeat the removing and installtion trial for two times but same result.
can anyone help me.

Remove the folder created during installion.
Have you removed the Key-Entry from the Registry, after removal of database?

Ideinstalled the orcale from universal...
then I went to regedit and remove oracle from it
after that I deleted oracle folders.

Post import of 10g Website archive, resources are not found in path
