Hi everyone, I need some help.
I am puzzled by an image that refuses to display. The image
is a small
picture that reads "buy now" at a wine website. The image is
uploaded onto the
remote server and i have tried it in both .gif and .jpg file
types. The image
appears in Dreamweaver, but when I view it in IE and FF, it
does not appear
(even when reading from my local computer)
Have you come across this problem? I know it must be
something basic that is
going on- that's what is frustrating!

Whoever moved this thread to ASM is an Idiot abusing his power. My question wasn't ASM related as I had mentioned VERY SPECIFICALLY in my post.

- offline tablespace
- cp the file from one DG to another DG
- rename the datafile by alter ......
- online the tablespace.
- check the file location from dba_data_files
- now do rm for old dbf file.

Song Tags [Sorry if wrong sub-forum!]

Hi!
After months of reading up on PMPs, finally decided to get the X-Fi 2, just finding a distributor in Australia or at least a retailer I can get to price match with, then I'll have one
Before then, I want to fix up all the tags on my songs. I've seen that MP3Tag [or something] program being tossed around the place, and also noticed that it's free. Although, it would be nice if there was a program that automatically does it based on samples from the file :P
Would anyone happen to know where to obtain a copy of that type of program? [Whether it's free or pay, although a program like that is probably pay]/

Make sure that your tag infois written in anID3v2.3 component or lower,when the tag info is written. Windows Explorer won't display anything else. Files such as Ogg, FLAC that don't use ID3 tag info will not diplay tag info in Windows Explorer (Sorry...my problem as well). I have tried to add ID3 tag info to my FLAC music but then they don't show up at all on my X-Fi2 library.

Can't Post in the User Tips Library

Hello,
I just recently achieved Level 2 ranking status in the forums. For some weird reason, I can't post in the Tips Library. I click on 'Post New Topic', and it asks me to log in. I had already logged in, but I do it anyway. I type in my password, and click Log In. I am back in the Tips Library, and now logged in. When I click 'Post New Topic' again, it asks me to log in again, although I am already logged in! It is an endless circle.
I really want to contribute!

The approved posts are moved to the User Tips Library. In other words, you can't post there; the Hosts move your approved tip to that forum.

Post removed - what did I do wrong?

A post I made in the Aperture forum was removed. I was asking a question about someone selling an Aperture serial number and whether Apple considered this legal.
Why was that removed?

Okay.
The selling and purchasing of serial numbers is never legitimate, unless it is done by/from the original publisher of the software (such as puchasing a QuickTime Pro serial number from Apple).
If a person has a legitimate copy of the software, they already have the serial number, so do not need it again. If they lost it, there are usually means to re-obtain it from the publisher (or in some cases from an original reseller) via a copy of a sales receipt or from the seller's sales files.
The selling of serial numbers by folk not party to the original sale of the software is theft; so is the purchasing of such serial numbers.

How to stop the removing a user account and saving the home directory to a disk image?

I tried to delete one of two administers on my iMac (10.10.1). After more than 12 hours it will not let me quit System Preferences for it "is removing a user account and saving the home directory to a disk image". How do I finish deleting the administer and quit System Preferences?

Trouble removing a user from creative cloud for teams

I am trying to remove a user from my team, however the X does not show the pop up menu with the option to remove them. Also, when I click on any item on the left hand menu, nothing happens.

Creative Cloud for Teams. I can not remove a user

I am helping a friend who has bought Creative Cloud for Teams. I am myself a team admin for a company and that's why she asked me to help out.
She has only one user on the team right now, her self. She is also the admin.
Different User and Pass for each.
Anniversary date is in July 2015.
Trouble started four weeks ago in the beginning of October.
The iMac was on System 10.7 but I updated to 10.10 when trying to solve the matter.
I cleaned everything Adobe, using Adobe Cleaner and manually inside out, preferences, Libraries, Applications, Utilities…
Installed again the Creative Cloud and started with Photoshop to try out once again.
When she is logged into the Admin Console / Manage Team it shows very clearly that the User is Active.
When she tries to open any CC application there is a message saying that the account has expired.
When trying to remove the User, it is not possible and there is a yellow sticker saying: "We're sorry. Something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later. If this continues to fail, please contact customer support."
The User can not use any of the CC applications and the only option now is to run a 30 days trial on the admins Adobe ID while we try solve this matter.
Is anything of this familiar to anyone? Any suggestions?

The problem was partly that the owner of the license should have assigned the first (and only) seat to the admin, herself, the buyer,
Instead she assigned it to herself under another Adobe ID. She says she was told to do it this way but reading the instructions from Adobe says you should start by assigning the first seat to yourself/the admin.
But that should not have caused such dramatic problems where she was not able to delete the user and correct it. Also the license for the assigned user expired – strangely after 5 months of use. There was something that happened at Adobe that made this stick and the problem had to be solved by them.
In the meantime I made the admin a trial for 30 days and the problem was solved within that time and everything is fine now.
Lesson learned: If one is buying a Team version, one should always assign the first seat to the admin – as the instructions says.

Can't remove a user defined field with DI API.

Hi,
I'm using the code below to remove a user field. However, the first time I run it, I get the message that:
"Ref count for this object is higher then 0"
The second time I run it, I get the message that:
"No matching records found (ODBC -2028)"
As you can see, I am killing the UserFieldsMD object. In fact, when the function is entered, the object is nothing but later instantiated with oCompany.
The result in both cases is that the field doesn't get removed. What am I missing? Any ideas?

Hi Mike,
The issue with your code is that you are not calling the GetByKey method of the field object. Until you do this the FieldID property is 0 so when the Remove method is called it will not try and remove the correct UDF (if you run SQL profiler then you'll see that SBO is looking for the UDF based on the table and fieldID values).
Something like the following works for me:

Cannot open sub-forums

From the acrobat.com forum I'm trying to do some self-help but every sub-forum I select generates the message "Not authorized to view the specified forum 2182".
I'm an acrobat.com subscriber and according to my browser I'm signed in -what do I need to do?

Good point. I believe that when I went to post I was offered a menu of sub-forums in which to place the post - I think I asked the question at the "acrobat.com" forum "root level."
But maybe it's been that I wasn't looking hard enough. When in the acrobat.com forum I would click on one of the subforums on the right side and immediately get the error message noted above, appearing above the list of sub-forum links. The FAQ topics did not change but it is possible that I was indeed "relocated" to the sub-forum of choice and the "Trending Questions" were changing. At first glance I assumed they hadn't - that they were just trending discussions in the acrobat.com forum. I did not notice the little "more" button on the bottom of the page which just took me exactly where I wanted to go.
So I probably was navigating properly but with the non-changing FAQ section and the error message popping up I guess I felt I was just not getting off the ground. Thanks for your help - off to ask more questions now!

Cannot remove Unknown User

Hi just noticed in (OS X Mountain Lion) System Preferences, Sharing, Screen Sharing: I have a 'Unknown User' and too 2 'Unknown User' in the Remote Login.
See screen shots... got any ideas? (note clicking "–" does not remove the "Unknown User" they are stuck, hence my posting)

I had the same problem and i solved it (for Remote Login)
1) First remove all users that can be remove from GUI
2) shows the configuration of users
sudo dscl . -read /Groups/com.apple.access_ssh
example result:

4) Go to System preference (dock) and see the result

How To Delete Hidden Users On Mac/Macbook
What You Will Need:
- An Administrator Account
- Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal)
Steps:
- Open Terminal
- Copy this command line into terminal window (without colons) "sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow Hide500Users -bool NO"
- Hit return
- If it prompts you for password, type in your current user's PW and hit return(when you type it will be invisible so make sure you type correctly)
- Close Terminal
- Goto 'Users & Groups' (System Preferences > Users & Groups)
- You should be able to see a new user(the hidden user) under 'Other Users' section
- Click on the lock icon and type in your Administrator Username & Password to unlock it
- Click on the User(the hidden user) and press the minus icon and delete it like a normal account
