Post wiki/blog entries from iphone?

i gather from what i have read of the docs, that the default presentation of blogs and wikis on the iphone is read-only.
i'm wondering if i might be able to pick up a blog-editing tool (along the lines of ecto or something, but simpler and for the iphone) that would make it possible to make quick posts - i.e. to take a photo or video and post it to a blog from the iphone with a short caption.
i'm kind of surprised that apple chooses to feature "iphone support" on the page describing the snow leopard collaboration services, but that their idea of supporting the iphone is so limited - especially since when they introduced the iphone 3GS, they demo'd uploading videos to youtube.
anyone have any ideas? i see in the wikiserver documentation that the server is supposed to support the AtomPub and MetaWebLog API's, but then i don't see any mention of support for apple-snow-leopard-wiki-server (what is it actually called anyway?) in the documentation of any tools in the itunes store.
Blogwriter - bad reviews. no mention of supporing os x server wikis/blogs.
Wordpress - right idea, but afaik, this works only for wordpress blogs?
Blog with iBlogger! - by the folks who do ecto for the mac. looks vaguely promising, but does not list support for 10.6 server blogs and has mix of positive/negative reviews. also costs $10.
Blog Press - similar in scope to Blog with iBlogger!. $3. some bad reviews.

Is it possible to add a blog entry from another computer? Say all my iWeb sites are on my desktop computer and I want to add a blog entry from my laptop.

You can do this if you transfer your Domain File to the laptop. An easy way to do this is outlined in these notes.

I use iWeb on my home machine, but sometimes want to post a quick update from work. Is there any way to do this? Seems like a reasonable feature to have.

iWeb stores your site data in a domain.sites2 file in Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb.
Each of you would have to have access to the latest version of this file to be able to add blog entries.
The easiest way to do this at home is to network the two Macs and use file sharing.
To add an entry you would drag the domain file from the Shared folder to Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb, launch iWeb, add your stuff and then place a copy of the updated domain file back in to Shared.
If you are working remotely, you can keep the file on your iDisk or simply email it.
The advantage of having a copy on your iDisk is that, if anything goes wrong, you have a backup - off site.

TAXINN- posting a sales entry from FI using out put tax code

This client requires TAXINN and need to post a simple sales entry from FI ie cusotmer Dr Sales Cr and Sales Tax Cr.
Can any one tell whether this is possible? If so, how.

I think you are using CST for this particular customer,but VAT tax code also be their in customer master records.so system having confusion what to take in posting.
It is coming from SD side i think since you have maintain some tax rate in sales order the billing is directly picking from their depending from your copy control.
but iam not sure about the solution you please make the VAT 0% and try to post in FI. please check whether it works

How do I delete all calendar entries from iPhone 3G S

My iPhone calendar is out of sync with Outlook (2007, connected to an Exchange server). There are appointments no longer in Outlook that are still on the iPhone, and appointments with the wrong time on the iPhone. SO I want to remove all the calendar entries from the iPhone and then redownload everything from Outlook.
So how do I delete all the calendar items from the iPhone WITHOUT deleting them from Outlook or messing with my Outlook profile?

Thanks, Allan. Actually, I prefer to sync my calendar via iTunes because I refresh Outlook and sync via iTunes much more frequently than I fire up VPN to get directly to exchange. But I did use your tip the other way - I turn ON Exchange Calendars to blow away my current iPhone content, then turned it back off to delete the Exchange content. That left me with an empty iPhone calendar that I could then load via iTunes sync.

Moving blog entries from one blog to another - there must be a simple way

It was suggested by my local Mac "Creative" that I establish more than one blog on my site, each concentrating on a particular topic. I did that. I'm not wild about the idea, though, and +*would like to move the entries from one blog to another.*+ I am unable to figure out how to do it. I've tried selecting the entry and dragging it to a different blog, to no avail. I've tried different key combinations to do it, to no avail. The Help file wasn't helpful.
What's the simple way to accomplish this?

Update iWeb Blog page from iPhone

I'm brand new to the whole blog thing so please be patient here. I put a test blog page on my iWeb site and was wondering if there is a way to add to that blog on the go from my iPhone? I'd like to take pics of the days events and upload them to the blog along with some text. Is this possible?

The iPhone can't make new blog posts on iWeb-generated blogs, because it doesn't run iWeb. However, if you set the blog to accept comments, you can post a comment from your on blog from your phone; that's how I do updates when I'm in the field.
iWeb has an option where you can allow attachments to be included in comments. I never tried this with my iPhone, so I don't know if that would work or not (I'm not sure how you would locate the attachment on the phone). Of course, if you select this option, ANYONE can post attachments to your blog comments, which isn't necessarily a good thing unless your site is password-protected.
Of course, this only applied before Apple screwed everything up with the MobileMe transition; currently, no blog comments are working at all, and Apple has given no estimate of when it will be fixed.

Multiple Address Book entries from iPhone

When I add a single contact using iPhone (3GS, Ver 4.1) as it syncs to MobileMe, anywhere from 1 to 9 additional copies of the exact same contact card are created. Of course they’re propagated throughout my various Macs and iPad, as well as MobileMe.
This does not happen when adding a contact to the iPad or any of the 4 Macs I’ve got synced to MobileMe to keep my calendar and address books up to date.
Does anyone else have this issue, and if so, what’s the fix?

Yes ... I am experiencing the same issue. Seems no matter how I adjust the iPad preferences, I continue to get multiple entires in my address book.
I do not get multiple entries in my macBook or my iPhone.

Cannot post to Web Gallery from iPhone

Hello,
I recently bought a 16Gb iPhone and am loving it, I have however come across a small problem when sending pictures to my .Mac Web Gallery. I have several albums which are all password protected, one of which has the setting allowing users to post pictures. When trying to post a picture from the iPhone however, a message is displayed telling me that my Web Gallery has no shared albums. Has anyone come across this and is there something I'm missing?

Sync Calendar entry from iPhone to custom application

Hi, I am new to iPhone development. I made a screen for iPhone which is a calendar. I like to sync my iPhone native calendar entries with my calendar. I dont know how to do that. I need to know what APIs I have to use to sync iPhone calendar to my custom calendar. Thanks

You should start by resetting your sync history and see if that resolves your issue. To reset sync history:
1. Open iTunes
2. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
3. Click the Syncing tab.
4. Click the Reset Sync History button.

After a long search, I found out that it is my iPhone and my iPad.
How do I find out which app is behaving wrongly , because along side with the wrong IP the equipment does get a correct IP and can be used quite normal on the Internet.
Do I have to use the developer environment to test out each APP or can I find it out with a packet capture?
Is there some other way or do I have to denistall all apps and activate one by one an test the logfiles?
This would be a dayswork and I hope I can go around this.

It's the same with me. I sync a lot of pictures to the iPad setting "Selected albums, events ..." and using iPhoto on my Mac. But when I added some pictures to an iPhoto-event and try to sync them again, iTunes automatic set "All pictures ..." and the iPad do not contain any picture. Allthough I just looked at them before I started the synchronisation.
I hate it because the synchronisation need about an hour. And I am in a hurry.

I got it now. Since i couldn't find them in Outlook, i tried to sync it with Windows Address Book & all were there 100%! Thank u very much Lawrence for helping lotsa peeps like me! ^__^

Are blog entries searchable?

We have recently deployed SP2013 corporate wide and some employees have started blogging. Some of the information they are putting out there are very helpful tips and tricks. However, I do not see any blog posts in the search results. I have to think these
posts can be search results. I have tried to search the Internet, but it seems that because I am using the word blog the only results I am getting back are blog posts about searching. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Yes blog is very much searchable may be they are not ranked top. Please look at below link where you can create a separate BLOG search scope so that user can only search blog.
