Posted Excise duty not appearing in MIRO

Hello folks,
We are capturing Excise invoice in MIGO and then as per the vendors
excise invoice we change the ED in the captured excise invoice and then
post it. We have noticed that in some cases the exise duty posted in
J1IEX is not the same which is appearing in MIRO. first we assumed that
it is appearing only for the changed items, but then we found this is
only in case of some invoices and not for the all invoices of those
items.
please let me know what to do.

Hi,
Cancel the excise invoice which was posted at the time of previous GRN. Then again post the excise invoice with reference to new GRN Then the excise amount will appear in MIRO.

Excise Duty not calculated at MIRO

We have upgraded the patch level of SAP_APPL from 10 to 11. Now, in PO we have assigned a tax code for calculation of excise duty at 14.42%. In the tax details in PO Items, system is showing the calculation of excise duties correctly.When the excise invoice from vendor is posted through J1IEX . Here the system is passing the entries
BDE Dr
Cess Dr
SECESS Dr
       Cenvat Clearing A/c Cr
When we do MIRO, system is passing the following entries
GR/IR Dr
     Vendor A/c Cr
The correct entries to be passed shoudl be
GR/IR Dr
Cenvat Clearing Dr
         Vendor A/c Cr
When we were on patch 10 for SAP_APPL, system was passing the entries correctly. However, after the upgradation, system is not capturing the excise details. We have maintained all the related configuration in J1ID and also maintained the condition records in FV11.

Hi,
Check whether "GR based IV" is active for the PO line item under "Invoice" Tab. If not then active and check or do a complete new cycle with this indicator as active and check.
Also check that in MIRO, you are selecting the tax code of PO at Header level in "Basic Data" Tab also.

Excise invoice - basic excise duty not appearing

Hi,
I am creating excise invoice in ECC 6.0 . Education cess is appearing in the excise invoice. However, basic excise duty and secondary education cess are not appearing. I understand that some notes have to be applied for secondary education cess.
I am using TAXINN.
In accounting document, basic excise duty, education cess and secondary education cess are appearing.
Kindly reply as to the place where I have made a mistake for setting of basic excise duty.

Already our friend MBS suggested in detail to that
Please check the configuration settings in the IMG through this Path
IMG>Logistics General>Tax on goods movements>India>Basic settings>Determination of excise duty>Maintain Excise defaults here have you maintained basic excise duty and secondary education cess condition types for your TAXINN procedure.
Also check the commercial invoice have you getting basic excise duty and secondary education cess in the commercial invoice.
Is this first time you are trying to create excise invoice or recently you are getting this issue.
If you are getting suddenly means ask BASIS people are they applied ant patches recenlty then proceed accordingly.
If all settings are perfect then you can raise the OSS note to the SAP people.

Excise amount not appearing in MIRO

Hi,
For a PO line item I have captured the excise invoice thro J1IEX and then created a GR with reference to the Excise invoice. Due to some reason I reveresed the GR without posting the excise invoice. Then again the GR was done and the Excise invoice posted.
Now when I am trying to post the vendors invoice in MIRO, the excise amount is not getting calculated.
In the excise invoice part II tab, the excise amount is shown as inventorised.
Please let me know what corrective action needs to be taken so that the vendor invoice can be posted with excise amount.

Excise is not captured in MIRO in Dealer Invoice

In dealer invoice , In PO, for Eg: Basic price : 1000 + vat 200, Total 1200 Rs.
I have changed excise duty values in MIGO . for Eg: Basic price : 900 + Excise 100, Total 1000 Rs.MRP Indicator activated
Excise is not captured in MIRO.

In case of dealer invoice you will have to change the Tax code in MIRO in your case to get the Excise calculated.
Other way is you take excise credit first with J1IEX clicking MRP indicator and properly takin excise credit, after that MIRO will automatically take excise in to accounts.

Migo reference document not appearing in miro for frieght conditions

Dear all,
I ahve done migo for a po and i have checked GR based invoice in PO.When i am doing MIRO i am not getting the migo reference number for frieght condition where as the migo reference number is appearing for base price.How to get that migo reference number for frieght conditions also.

Sometimes the the MIGO creator might have reversed the same. In such cases the reversal document may be with different number in the same series and both posted & reversed documents will not appear in MIRO. Since you might checking with posted document number, you are seeing the blank in MIRO. In such cases, just enter the PO number in MIRO, give date & reference number press Show PO structure button in the left corner. You will find the following screen
Expand the required once. The following screen appears. In this both positive & negative numbers with same reference & document type appearing are the reversed documents.

Hi,
You can pass JV with transaction code J1IH by selecting "additional excise' tab.you can give the amounts and also excise invoice number

Hi,
For GR, which movement type you are using...?
If it is 103, you will get the excise invoice tab only in 105 GR.
If it is 101 only, check the following configuration.
SPRO-Logistics General-Tax on goods movements-India-Business Transactions-Incoming Excise invoices-Specify which movement type involve excise invoices.
Please revert for further analysis.

Poster image does not appear in IE

I am having another problem with the poster image feature. In IE7 & 8, the poster image does not appear at all when the player is first loaded. If the page is cached and loaded, the poster image appears fine.
I think this is a bug, but can anyone confirm seeing this or fixing it?

I am confused as to how to use the name after the url.
Should it read something like:
bugimg = getImage("http://g.jtrusty.com/JavaApplet/", "LadyBug.gif");
EDIT: I still get the same error, cannot find symbol at getImage.

Part 1 generated while creating migo but display mode Excise tab not appear

I created migo Part 1 generated. and excise tab also appeared.
but while display mode Excise tab not appearing. In table J_1part1 Part 1 details are updated.
Please explain What could be the reason

Excise duty not getting calulated in MIRO

Dear MM Gurus,
User has caputured an excise invoice and entered a GR with reference to the excise invoice and posted excise invoice
then user has reversed GR and without reversing(ie cenvat posting),he has made the GR.
Then he has posted cenvat (part-II)
Now during Miro,excise duty amount is not getting calculated
also excise invoice shows, duty credit is not availed but it is inventorised.
How to take credit and post MIRO ?
