Posterior Data Corrections

I have a business objects related problem, or a business process issue depending on how you look at it.
The issue is that we currently have a process by which results from one system that are automatically generated need to undergo some post-processing prior reporting. However, as the process is entirely automated from the first system, which outputs to an MS Access DB, that is in turn transferred to an ORACLE environment DB from which business objects XI reports, we have no opportunity to correct the figures.
Rather than developing or purchasing another application to allow us to make these manual corrections on the data somewhere in this process I wanted to know whether there is a SAP interface that would enable these corrections to be made somewhere along this process? I would rather stick with a consistent and controlled integration that is part of the same software / technical platform, rather than providing many ad-hoc interfaces.

In excel is possible to delete or override any value in any column, is it possible to do this ia essbase olap server?

How to display an "All Day Event" date correctly in an integrated SSRS Report?

I have two event items in a calendar list in SharePoint 2010. Both items have the same start time and end time. One of them, however, has the "All Day Event" checkbox checked. If I access them through a REST service, this is how the data is

I have a report in the same SharePoint 2010 site that uses SSRS in integrated mode. The data source is the calendar list mentioned above. The date fields are not formatted, just displayed as them come from the list/database.
My locale is set to en-US. When I run the report, the start date for item 1 is displayed as "3/21/2014" ('all day' set to false) but the start date for item 2 is displayed as "3/20/2014" which is incorrect ('all day' set to true).
I did some research online and found out that SharePoint stores all date fields as UTC except for 'All Day Events', which are stored in local time (our servers are in Central Time, but I'm running the report fom Pacific Time, in the US).
I coudn't find a solution to display the date correctly in the integrated SSRS report. Is there a way, maybe some straightforward formatting, to show All Day Event dates correctly? I tried adding hours but this is inconsistent with daylight saving hour changes.
I would appreciate any help.

The date for all day event stored in SQL in GMT time, the start time for an all day event returns the start time in GMT time, which is not the current time most likely.
This is a confirmed issue, as a workaround, I would suggest you to use a calculate column for the event for the column, using the following format:

you mean using translation manager? or data from DB? or both.
You need to make sure that your DB is already configured for multiple languages.
Enable the OS for multi languages
On XIR3.1, you will need to install language packs on the processing servers. then you can utilize translation manager.
Installation of Language Packs are a pain to install and update.

First, the required profile needs to be present. LR 5.4 supports the X-T1 in terms of understanding its Raw format, but will not come with a profile for every lens which can be mounted onto that.
A profile is made for each specific lens, as mounted on a certain camera. It can also be used with pictures taken on a different (reasonably similar) camera body than the one originally used during profiling. This is subject to the sensor format: you can employ a given lens profile made for full frame, on an image from a crop sensor behind the same lens - but not vice versa.
Next, the image type needs to correspond to the image type which has been built into the profile: Raw, or non-Raw.
Lightroom offers only profiles of the right type for the image(s) concerned. There are many more provided for correcting camera Raw, than for correcting camera JPG. That is also the case with additional profiles, e.g. those accessed via the Adobe lens profile downloader utility.
Finally, in the event that there simply is no profile out there for a given lens, it is not particularly difficult (though a little tedious) for the end user to generate one, using a further Adobe utility which is downloadable as a package, including a range of checkerboard calibration targets, each of which needs to be printed at a stated physical size.

Bex Analyzer not showing unicode data correctly

we are currently testing unicode data with BW.
when desplaying the data in BEx Analyzer 3.5 there is some data that sows as #. not all.
The connection from BW tosource is unicode and the other side around.
The data is stored as unicode in BW - checking the infoobject masterdata, data displays correctly.
RSRT displays the data correctly - all unicode characters display correctly.
we also made a analyzer 7.0 query which also displays the data correctly.
BEx web also returns the 3.5 query correctly.
Does anyone encountered this in the past or knows why this is happening? the problem is clearly only with bex analyzer 3.5
i am using gui 7.20 with SAP BW 3.5 AddOn Patch 5 for GUI 7.20 patch.

We had exactly the same issue. The problem is not in the SAP system, it's in the MS Excel language system. Microsoft does not like to be set up for more than one language. Most users set up their computer for one language. So set up your test computer for... for example, Chinese. Allow English. Log in to Bex in Chinese, and execute your report. You should see Chinese characters, and you may also see English characters as well.
Please note also that if the characteristic text is not maintained in more than one language, you will see the key value instead of the text value. this can become an annoying issue.. for example, we had to write an exit in the datasource so that the customer name (in the communication language) was returned in every single installed langauge to the master data text.

Problem with chart displaying data correctly

I have created a bar chart that displays data for each day of the month. The majority of the time this chart displays the information corrrectly. However now and again the bars of the chart appear much larger than they should meaning that instead of showing 30 or 31 seperate bars it can only display half that amount due to the increased size of the bars. If you display the same chart again then the problem will often disappear.
I am using Coldfusion MX 7 version 7.0.2 Enterprise Edition. Ihave installed all the latest updates up to Cumulative Hot Fix 3.

After upgrading to iOS 8.2 can't update date (correctly (year stuck on 1970). This may be reason I can't get to app store.

After upgrading to 8.2, I can't access the App Store. After troubleshooting and searching the web, I found suggestions to update the Time setting to automatic, then reset the network settings. The problem is, it won't completely set the Time and Date setting correctly, it is stuck on 1970 and I can't change it automatically or manually. As a result, I can neither downgrade to 8.1 nor upgrade to 8.3 nor update anything else.
Any suggestions? It is a MD723LLA model (5th Gen, 32 GB with plenty of free RAM).

Go to Settings>General>Date & Time and make sure calendar is set to Gregorian.
Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple. Next would be to connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will go to 8.3

Process Chain Red 'X', Exec Infopckg Yellow, Infopckg monitor/data correct

Dear and respectable colleagues of the forum,
I am experiencing a problem in a process chain when executing infopackages. The process chain has 6 "Execute infopackage" processes. Sometimes (1 of 4 attempts average) my process chain ended with red color with 'X' status in the Process Chain Display Log View.
Reviewing within the chain Log, there is one of the "Execute infopackage" processes that appears in yellow color (it loads from direct update ODS to an infocube). However, revising the Logs for its corresponding Infopackage execution I found that it says that "Data successfully updated". Moreover, If I review the data loaded it seems to have been loaded correctly.
Then, Why does the "Execute infopackage" process in PC finishes with yellow color if the Infopackage execution itself finishes correclty?
To complete the whole scenario: I execute this process chain every night from an Abap program; the program has a Loop that traverses a table, and executes the process chain as many times as the quantity of rows in that table (table has 10 rows meaning offices). As you can understand, the chain is executed 10 times, and the error occurs in any of the 6 "Execute infopackage" processes indistinctly.
I review ST22 and SM37 for all users for the datetime when the error occured butnothing bizarre was reported. It is left to review SM21.
The following is the detail of messages.

The message in the infopackage excution node in the process chain says (non-error):
"Data successfully updated"
The error message in process chain monitor (log) says:
......"Overall status: Error occurred: or: Missing messages
............Process Chains : Errors occurred"
I just realized that there is no messages at all in the infopackage monitor (log).
I have received a clue, someone asked me to review note 1396417, and I will.

System not picking data correctly in S_PL0_86000030

I am trying to process report S_PL0_86000030 . While trying to view the call up report for particular GL a/c in a particular fiscal year and co code, we are getting the data for period 1 to 3 for line item reports . The data displayed is correct in the development server but not so in prodn server.
In the prod server, the system is also picking the data for period 4 (July) even though the selection is for period 1 to 3 at the line item level.
The same display is correct in the development server

Date filter not reading dates correctly

I've noticed that since Bridge CS5 came out, the filter on date is not working correctly. For example,I'm looking at a series of images that I captured today (Sept 7th), and the date shown in the metadata panel of Bridge ays "Today". Yet, the Filter pane shows only "yesterday", not "today" as an option. When I click on "yesterday", Bridge displays the files that I took today! (And for the record, I'm using Bridge on Sept 7th, at 6 PM Pacific time when I'm posting this.)

Tried to reproduce it on my system but can't achieve this, pictures shot at
same day as 'today' give today in the filter panel and yesterday also
correctly filtered.
You have of course already checked the date and time of your camera?
But that should reflect also the data in the EXIF shown under file
properties in the Metadata section.
Assuming you have already tried to reset the Bridge Preferences (holding
down option key while restarting Bridge) you could also repeat this after
having manual deleted the AdobeBridge4.plist file from the preference folder
in the User library.
If still no luck, a way to narrow the possibilities down is if you have CS4
still installed you could try it in Bridge CS4 with the same files.
If it shows correct in CS4 it might be related to your CS5 install or to
NEF from D200 and Bridge CS5.
If it shows also incorrect in CS4 it might be related with your User account
or OSX.

Data correction at Info cube

For an Info cube, we had done compression, rollup of aggreagates. And, now we had identified wrong data entry for a field from one of the datasources.
How can we correct the information of that filed for the old records without downtime or deleting the complete information of the cube.

Its a characteristic or keyfigure...?
--> If its a characteristic you can follow one of these 2 options...
1. Create a new datasource and load into CUBE(Do not map any keyfigures...)
2. Loop back from CUBE to same CUBE and write a routine to populate right value for the filed by lookup. In this case also do not map any keyfields.
--> Create export datasource on CUBE and use.
--> If its a keyfigure..
Need to delete data and load, due to addition.

One possible issue is a browser caching problem.
Also consider trace statements for

Your statements "here is what PHP sends back to Flash" and
"what Flash
receives" is puzzling. Could you be saying here is what PHP
returns to a web
browser page and here is what Flash sees? If that is the
case, then it looks
like two different responses from the PHP program.
I generally have a test web page that sends the same data to
the PHP script
as Flash would and have have a debug option in the PHP to
return the return
values in a <pre> format so I can see them neatly in a
web page. This
allows testing the PHP program separately and verify what it
returns outside
of Flash. Once that is clear, then you should see the exact
same
information.
Example

How to trigger provisioning - after approval task failed but data corrected

Hi,
We have a situation where the approvals are provided for the requests but approval task failed(denied) due to misconfiguration. But really all the approvals are provided by the required personnel. So, we need to manually correct the data and trigger the provisioning. Could you please advise on how to manually/otherwise trigger the provisioning in this scenario

Thanks Kevin. We could locate these requests and update the records in DB. But wasn't sure if we can trigger the automatic provisioning from there. I was thinking there may be a way to restart the workflow/provisioning from the point where it failed. That would be a nice feature to have.
