Posting a podcast under my company name

How can I post a free video podcast in iTunes using my company name and have that displayed as the author instead of my personal name?

The author's name is carried in the 'itunes:author' tag in the feed. I asasume you aren't hand-writing your feed, but using a podcast creation program or service - most of these provide a place where you can enter the author's name, so you just change it there and republish. The Store will pick it up but not for a couple of days or so - possiblly not until you post a new episode.

You have to have a real company as evidenced by official state/government documents.
Then you contact Apple to have them change your individual account to a company account.
They will ask you to fax the above mentioned documents as proof.

i am doing flex4 web application with mxml tags,
i am having one text box and one datagrid and one save button. text box having one company name, data grid having employee names.
when i click save button which is placed in outside the datagrid it will save all the details.
Now my requirement is text box having the same company name and when i enter same employee name in datagrid and click save button means it wont
allow to save that record, and through msg box with some alerts.
How to do this,

i want to add records in cloud.bt while adding the records if we enter existing record details and try to save again na it wont allow to that record.
that time the alert box should show this msg "This record is already existing record in cloud database.
ex: one company name called mobile. i am adding a employee name called raja now i save this record,its data saved in     cloud DTO
again try to add same employee name raja under the same compny means it should through error.

Address Book - Unwanted individual's name under Company Name

Individuals names automatically insert under the Company names at the top of contact pages.
Can this be stopped?
I delete them regularly but they keep appearing.
They are particularly frustrating as they overwrite names being typed into Mail.

You can drag address book cards to any label on the sheet. This is great for printing on a label page that you didn't use all the way.
In the preferences you can set any combo of info from the address card you want. You can save any number of theses combos.

N97 mini - Contact Sort Company, Name

Hello
my N97 mini is for Business use and I am using Mail for Exchange. Everything works perfect.
I synchronize Mails, Contacts, dates and tasks with Exchange.
In Exchange-Contacts are, along with other contact details, for me the important fields Name and Company.
When I synchronize, these fields are copied correct to the N97 mini .
In N97 mini i want to display Contacts in alphabetic order, using the fields Company, Name
I cant find settings to realize this
Can anybody help ?

I find this part of my iPhone completely weird.
With my Treo running Agendus I could see all my Contacts by their company name and the contacts name alongside. If I did a search by name or company got a result.
However with 4000 contacts in my AB/iPhone searching for people by their names is difficult. For instance, living in Wales, where Jones, Jenkins, Evans, Davies etc are very common names I could have 20 people called David Jones but only 1 that works for ACME plumbing.
Also I may want to speak to three people from Acme Plumbing, but I can't remember their surname.
At the moment my solution to this is to create Groups in AB and split my contacts amongst these i.e zip codes, company sector etc. Also I use the App ABContacts which allows you to see the Contact Name under the Company name or vice versa.
This is the one area where I really do miss my Palm Treo/Agendus

How do edit the company name in E-Sourcing

In our E-Sourcing system previously, we have created the data under the company name BOB but now we wanted change it to the different name. In the system setup I have edited the company name to different one but still when I create the RFX it shows only the hardcoded old company Name BOB.
Other than just editing the company name in the Setup do I need to anything else
Can any one help me out in this?

I read from the following blog that the company names are determined from the e-mail ids given in the business card.

Wouldnt it be better to get it from the URL of the company mentioned in the business card? What happens if i use my personal e-mail id for receiving my SDN mails?

In that case their points are not applied to their company whole and when the new changes come out they would not be listed as part of that company.
There are other possibilities we are looking into but any that provide for user input has the inherient problem that someone is going to type if different that you are,
Company Name: ABC Technologies, Inc.

So what do we do cut it down to "ABC" and take all of that?

Opps now we have another problem.

Those all work too.
The way we are doing it now is still riddled with the problems that people use their "local" email instead of the global company one or even worse they have no global company one and only local ones so for the company with 120 people spread across 4 countries they all show up under 4 different companies.
So for now if you use a yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc. you don't get listed and when the changes come out you won't show up under your company name as being part of the contribution of that company.
My question out to all of you is why do you not use your company mail address? You can also set a mail agent to forward your mail to your private account when you go home in the evening.

How to protect my company name and domain names

Hi All
I have just been approached via email from a company in China wanting to use my company name for their client and asking if it has been registered.
It hasn't and I am now extremely worried and not sure what to do. I have been trading under this name for 2 and half years and have my domain name under the company name too.
Does anyone know if they can take this from me if they register the same name?

You do have to be careful that your domain doesn't expire—you have to pay the yearly fee or it will be available to anyone. If you've lost track of where it's registered or when it expires, you can look it up here:

As I stated in my question that I do not want 2 Apple accounts, I already have one with all my private information and it should be good enough regardless how many devices. I didn't tried the iCloud but I don't think I actually had it setup.

Centro Search by Company Name

How can I search by company name on the Centro? I can "sort" by company but I haven't found out how to search for a specific company name. Of course I can search by the person's name, but I don't always remember the person.

Using the O/S's Find function is NOT a decent answer or a fix for this problem. Only a very clumsy workaround.
See my message at this thread on this forum as to why it is such a bad way to have to do this.
Why can't Palm get this fixed? It should work the way it use to so that typing a company's name takes you to the company's record, EVEN IF YOU DO HAVE ENTRIES IN THE FIRST NAME OR LAST NAME FIELDS. This bug has existed going on over 3 years now.
There is no way this thread should be marked as solved, IMHO.

Can 2 different podcasts have the same name?

My friends and I have recently created a podcast and posted it to Itunes

After we had posted for a while a member of our group discovered that another podcast had the same name:

Is it possible for both podcasts to exist? Will one of us have to change our name? Can they force us to change our name? I'm hoping neither one of us will have to do that. Any and all help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

If you mean can they both exist in iTunes, clearly the answer is yes since they are both there now.

If you do a web search on "get a life" podcast you will find even more.
It could be confusion if someone is looking for your podcast and finds one of the others. Also, if one of you Get A Lifers gets famous (and I hope it is you), there will be legal action for sure.
You may want to consider adopting a more unique name. Just my opinion.

How to add company name to show up in contact list with person's name on Droid

I just switched from the Blackberry Storm to the Motorola Droid. Is there a way to have the company name show up in the contact list under the person's name. I need that for work. It syncs up with a program called Act by Sage and my storm used to show both.

You can edit your contacts, and list the company name under the organization section. However, it will not show up when they call you. You will only be able to see it in your contact list. Hope this helps!

Rename the Company Name in test company

I did the backup then restore database from SQL Server. I noticed the test company has same Company Name only the Database Name is different from Original Database Name.
Can I rename the Company Name to distinguish with the Original Database now? I get confused when I did some testing not even to users.

How do I sort my address book by company name

My new iPhone comes tomorrow. I need to sort my address book in iCloud by company name, not last name first name. If I cant do this is there a third party software I can download for an address book that will allow me to do this?
PS I am currently not using an iPhone and am manually entering addresses.

Enable the menu in the Address Book. Then look at the options under View and Sort By.

Can I get back a file that logic deletes... Well I did but I had thought I saved the file under a different name?

Hi. I have been using logic pro on the computer at music school... A Mac pro... Anyway, I was recording a friends band. W got some awesome takes down. I was then doing a little post, saved the file as one name and then stared working on it under a new file name. Anyway, logic came up with a splash that asked if I would like to delete the original file, and I clicked yes, as I thought I had saved the session under a different name just earlier. Anyway, I lost everything. Ok... Shirt I thought... But I managed to find everything in the recycle bin. Except one awesome take of an awesome song, I am a little bit heart broken as I've gone though the sessions undo file in quite some detail, but I seem to have lost it. I have access to the file on my Mac at home (MacBook pro, and logic express 8 I think) cool that I can open logic pro files in logic express, but anyway. Anyone want to offer me any solace? I think a solution might be too much to ask for....

If you were using OSX 10.7 then you could go back to a previous version, but you have overwritten the file.
