Posting a webpage right in an e-mail

Hi,
My friend who uses a PC always sends me e-mails with the webpage inbeded in the e-mail. Is it possible to do this on a Mac and if so how can I do it? I don't mean a link, I mean I open the e-mail up and the webpage is right there so I can click on it and it's active. It's so cool.

I don't think that you will figure it out. I have spent some time trying to research doing this, and it doesn't appear to be possible to do this in Firefox for OS X.
That includes using third party 'plug-ins' - because there doesn't seem to be anything available for this.
But if you were using the Windows version of Firefox [poor you ;- )] - there is a 'plug-in' for this purpose.

When you use OWA in something other than IE, you're using OWA lite and no--it is not possible to do either in OWA lite (well, new Exchange stuff makes my answer a little less emphatic but still: pretty much no). This is probabaly caused by the resume feature. When you log out, uncheck the box that appears.

Thanks. I used an Apple in 79-81, and got the first PC in EDS (Ross Perot) in Jan, 82. Installed corporate email in 83. Now have 4 pcs in a house of 2 people, supporting our 5 kids and 15 grandkids. Need easy to use comments form to post to webpage short-term

I'm going to create a 90th birthday tribute webpage with photos etc about a former teacher. We have a past pupils (alumni) website for a now closed school. The average age of the people who visit is 55+ and have to keep it basic. I have created php forms to email for those who want to sign on to our database, label photos on the site etc. That's about all our audience can handle. The guestbook has captcha and it just confuses many users even though there are detailed instructions on how to post with photo guided tut as well!
So I want to put a form under the BD greeting part where they can enter their greeting and hit submit and not bother with captcha. I don't want them to have to register which means they won't be able to edit their comments if there's mistakes. I'm happy to monitor it daily to weed out any spam, or more likely-- posts with errors or duplicates as it's not going to be around that long.To let people know about the page, we will do a mailing and put the link to the page in the email inviting them to sign the card using the comments form.
The idea is not to make the page public on the site's homepage until a day or two before his birthday which is in about 2 weeks. Then I plan to put an announcement on our homepage as he regularly visits the site and so it will be a surprise. Then he can visit the bd card page himself and see those who have posted their greetings, etc. Also, it will be there for anyone wants to add to the greetings and keep it open for another week. After that I will remove the form and tell people that if they want to add to the greeting, they can email us and we will post their greeting.
Someone in our group said perhaps we should just ask for greetings to be sent back to us in the email sending the link and I put them on the site, but it sort of kills the participation factor...we like people to interact with our site. There are a few we know about who will have to have us do it for them because they are not online, but on our telephone list.
Anyone have advice on how to make this really easy to use for the visitors??? Do I need to worry about script hijackers in this short time-frame? Do I need to use Google webmaster tools to exclude it from the search engine?

Any form processing script you run on your server needs to be secure. Otherwise it's an open invitation to HACKERS and other threats that could compromise your server. On shared hosting environments, many web hosts require you to use their scripts. You may wish to ask your host which scripts they recommend.

Right Click - Send To - Mail Rec.

Is there anyway or any type of program that will add to the Finder's Contextual Menu the ability to "Send To", similar to the send to in Windows?

Right click on the mail list doesn't open the context menu any more.

Hi everybody,
Thunderbird stoped to show the context menu on the mail list recently. Right click just prints the crossing line. What the problem could it be?

Right click on email in list should open a drop down selection.
Usually a crossed line through something denotes that it is marked as deleted in an imap mail account.

See if there is a conflict with an addon.
Restart Thunderbird in safe mode.
Help > Restart with addons disabled.
then perform the same test; right click on email in list.
Do you get the drop down, if yes, then one of your addons is causing the conflict.
You would have to disbale each in turn to locate which one is the problem.
Maybe the addon needs updating.
Report back on results.

I have the same problem too. When i restarted with addons disablem problem dissapeared but when i switch to normal mode and disable all off the plugins and addons the problem still remains.

Try the following code (I removed the template markup from the page, so I could work with it). The page is now centered, however, there are areas that really need fixing to correct various elements that just don't sit right. The main problem is the use of AP Divs for a layout - as already explained by Gary. AP divs (or layers) should not be used unless you understand the pitfalls that may be associated with their use.

Just another suggestion, that blinking text in the left sidebar is so 1990's :-) and does not really add any value to the page, except as a distraction. People will keeping that text blink and not be able to concentrate on the actual content you are tryng to provide. (seriously !).
Anyway here's the code to center the page, but you will need some refinement to make the whole page more cohesive.

HT5361 Is it possible to eliminate the upper right notification Banner from Mail without removing the Mail icon from the lower bar?

Every time I get an email, that darned notification banner pops up in the upper right corner. I don't want to eliminate Mail from my dock, because it's handy, but is there a way to simply stop that annoying Banner in the upper right corner?

Right Click- Send To- Mail Recipient has disappeared!

I have Thunderbird v24.6.0 with Windows 7. I used to have the option to right click on a picture choose Send To->Mail Recipient then choose the size of the picture, etc. The Mail Recipient option is no longer available in the Send To menu. I have checked shell:sendto and the MAPIMAIL file is still there and correct, but it doesn't work.
I have added a shortcut to Thunderbird in the Send To folder and I now have this as a right click option, but doing it this way I cannot choose the picture size (which is why I used this process to begin with).
Is there any way to get the original Mail Recipient option back?

That menu is part of the Windows operating system and has nothing to do with Thunderbird.

Is there a way to right click a file and have an option that will attach it to a new email?
Is there a way to add more files to the same email using the above technique?
Even better would be if I could right click on the Safari Downloads window and send files from their to an email.

....and here is another. This is the one I modified from one of Apples example scripts. What you need to do is start Automator, (in your Applications folder).

Now press ⌥⌘S to save the action as a finder plug in, call it something like +Add this attachment to.........+
You should now be able to right click a document and in the menu that appears, choose, More, followed by Automator, then +Add this attachment.........+
You can play around with it and modify the text and include or remove actions if you like.

How to Replace Photo in right hand corner of mail

When I set up my mail box about a year ago, the mail program automatically asked me if I wanted a photo of myself in each email I sent out. I must have clicked yes, because photo booth opened, I snapped a picture of myself, and now everytime I send an email there is a photo of me in the right hand corner of the page.
I would like to replace the picture. I can't find anywhere how to go about doing this.

The photo actually isn't sent out, but it does appear in Mail's composition window. The picture is in your personal listing in Address Book. You can paste a different picture in your AB listing or delete the one currently there is you prefer.

How does GR post to the right PO . ?

I have a query with GR postings.
We are receiving inbound GR through IDOC type : WMMBID01 and getting processed through : L_IDOC_INPUT_WMMBXY
The GR is of a movement type : 161 and movement indicator : B
Also the GR is not having any data relating to delivery note or PO numner.
Only Vendor number and material number are provided in the IDOC.
Please let me know how does the GR pick the right PO to be posted against .

Hi,
Reference PO document number will be available the segment "E1MBXYI" (fields EBELN, EBELP) in the incoming idoc. If is it not available in the incoming idoc, then the same should be filled through enhancement MWMIDO08, component :EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002. Without filling the data in these segment fields, Material documents will be not updated against the correct reference document.

You have to upload the PDF file to a directory on the web server and then provide a link to the file if the web site does not create a linked directory list.
