  • Blocking material for sale at plant level

    Hi,
Can you please help me whether we can block the material for sale at plant level.
We can block the material in sales organization view --> DChain-spec. status as BLOCKED FOR SALE , but it wil block sales of the material for all the plants in the sales organization.
Please help whether we can go ahead at plant level.

the posting block for goods issues can already be reached with a material status, so no phyiscal inventory document necessary.
What you could try is to control the usage by a userexit.
E.g.  you define a sales status AND a material status, just as table entry without any customizing in detail.
and in the userexit you check for the combination of sales status and material status, and if your material has this combination then send a error message to the user.

  • Blocking of Material at Plant level

    Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to block the material at plant level i.e. to disallow any transaction for a material in a specific plant..
Is is possible in SAP and if yes ,then what are the steps to achieve this.

    Hi,
You can Block the Material for further processing.
You can set the Indicator as Block(Initial ststus) in X-Plant Material Status in Basic Data & Purchasing View .
Otherwise you can also flag the material for deletion,in MM06 .
    Best Way is
You cannot delete the material from material master until archiving but you can block that material for any procurement
    Goto Basic data 1
    X-plant matl status -
    01 Blocked for procment/whse
                                           02 Blocked for task list/BOM
                                           10 Blocked for MRP
    Thanks,

  • STOCK QUNTITY on posting date at a plant level

I need the stock quntity , issue quntity , reciept quntity and averege quantity at <b>plant level</b> for a period of<b> week</b>, and <b>month</b>
Is there any function that can do it or any table that has those detailes or any program?

    Hi,
Check S031 table. It is a LIS info structure which store all goods movements in your system. But the key would based be on the variant your system configured to. I mean it will be either by Fiscal period/ Week/ Calendar Month for plant material.
Hope this will give you some clue.

  • How to Block a Plant?

    Hi Gurus
In our business requirement, one of the existing plant is being shut down & hence from  the near future, o transcations will physically happen in it.
In SAP , how do we  block that  plant ?

    Hi,
If you want to block the Plant for any purpose do the settings as per below
    1) In Material master u can block plant status or use the MM/PP Status field in MARC table to block production at plant level.
2 ) Deactivate Valuation Grouping Code in Tcode - OMWD, then there is  no stock movement and invoice can be made/posted.
    3) Check the  authorization object M_MSEG_WWA  Plant for all the User level.

  • Payment Terms fetch Issue(Plant Level) @ SRM 7.0

    Hello Experts,
We are currently implementing SRM 7.0 system(Classical Scenario) across regions. In one such scenario we found out that when we create a PO directly in SRM the Payment Terms is fetched correctly from the Vendor Master at Plant Level(Bypassing the Purch Org Level data, since Standard SAP looks for plant specific data & the same has been implemented in SRM by enahancing the BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI (Implementation ZBBP_DOC_CHANGE_PO ,Method :- BBP_PO_CHANGE using a Custom FM with SQL Query on LFM2)
However when a PO is ordered via the Shopping Cart method, the payment term is fetched at Purch org level, even though we have an Alternative Data(at Plant level) in R/3.
The Header & Item Level Data are the same.for both the PO's. Can someone please give some pointers on fixing this issue. As we know from SAP,fetching Plant related Payment Term into SRM is not a SAP Standard Feature & thus a custom logic was implemented.Payment Term Table(BBP_PAYTERM) is updated with the latest data with all Payment Term translations maintained in R/3.
    Awaiting your suggestions.

  • Why can not freeze book inventory Storage location and Posting block?

    Hello,
I tried to freeze book inventory storage location and posting block at storage location level in SAP.
    1) OMBP -> "Freeze book inventory storage' is checked at that storage location.
    2) MI01 -> the 'Posting Block' and 'Freeze book inventory' in the Physical Inventory Document  is checked.
    3) Post the Physical Inventory Document by using MI02.
But, I am still able to post inventory movement at that storage location after executing the above.
(I run MB1C with movement type 501 at that location.
I input the material number which are in the created Physical Inventory document.
The posted manterial document is created after I run MB1C.
The document date and the posting date in MB1C are the same date of Physical Inventoery Document.
I can see this material inventory movement from MB51!! )
My question is:  Why SAP is allowed to execute the inventory movement after the 'freeze book inventory storage location' and 'Posting block' are checked at OMBP and MI01 ?
    Any idea?
    Help me, thank you.

Problem solved.  Thank you for all help!!

I don't understand the mean of "Vendor <Vendor Code> <Company Code>: No payment due to delete flag or posting block", how should I payment this AP open Item by F110.
    Best regards,

    Hi Eric,
Seems like your vendor has been blocked at company code level for any further posting. Try and check with transaction code FK05 or XK05.
If it's blocked then just unblocked it and then try run your payment run.
    Cheers

  • What is use of cost centre ( scrap & detroying) in plant level QM settings?

    Hi all,
What is use of cost centre ( scrap & detroying) in plant level QM settings?
kindly suggest me the usage of the same.
    regards,
    Sanju

    Its simple..........
In UD screen you have stock posting options like scrap ,sample ,new material etc.
Now when you mention cost center in Scrap means -
    >while stock posting your material will be consumed against this cost center--->mvt type 350
you mention cost center in destroying means -
    >while stock posting your material will be consumed against this cost center--->mvt type 331

  • To restrict authorization for tcode MEK1,MEK2,MEK3,MEK4 at plant level.

    Hi,
We have  a requirement where we need to restrict authorization for tcode MEK1,MEK2,MEK3,MEK4 at plant level.
Presently we can restrict authorization at Purchasing organization level but not at Plant level.
    Any pointer please!
    Regards,
    Chetan

First of all, this is not the right forum to post such a question.  Coming to the requirement, this can be achieved by creating a role in PFCG where you can restrict plant and assign this role to each user id.  Your basis team can do this.
    thanks

  • Want to restrict the vendor at plant level

    Hi Experts,
As per standard SAP, once the vendor is extended to comapny code then buyer can place order in any plant of same company code. My client wants to restrict the use of vendor at plant and after some business approval, will allow to use the vendor for specifc that plant. Could you please help me, how can I acheive this ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Ajit

There is no solution for you in standard you have to develop something yourself.
It is even possible to create purchase orders before a company code view is created for a vendor master, hence it cannot be controlled via company code blocks. The block at company code will have an effect on goods receipt and invoice receipt, which is too late.
Purchasing blocks can only be set at purchasing organisation level. Even you can create a vendor with a plant level , it is not possible to set a block at this level. If this purchasing organisation serves many plants then a block will affect all plants.
only with a  purchasing organization specific responsible for a single  plant you can meet your requirement in standard with a procurement block at purchasing org level.

  • Blocking of plant for further postings

    Hi
We have got few plants which are inactive for several months. Someof them have got stock which is absolute while in remaining plants there is no stock.
So can I block these plants for further postings??
If yes plz let us know the settings. One of solution we are thinking is to do this with Authirization control. Plz suggest anyother.
    Thnx
    Neel

    Hi,
Remove the factory calendars from the plant.
If this will be removed then there will be no planning and hence no posting for the same.
    Reward points if it helps.

  • Client level, plant level and material level batch

    Hi,
Can any body tell me wat is the actual meaning of
    !) Client level batch,
    2) plant level batch,
    3) material level batch
    with exa. please.
    Thanks
    Nilesh Ithape

    Hi,
Below is the extract from the IMG Documentstion..
    ====================================================================
Batch numbers can be unique at the following levels:
    at plant level
    at material level
at client level for a material
If you choose plant level, the batch number is unique in conjunction with the respective material and the plant. If you choose material level, the batch number is unique together with the material. At client level, the batch number is unique in the whole client.
To change the batch level, you have to start a conversion program. This program first checks whether conversion is possible and outputs an error log containing all batch numbers that occur more than once at the new level. Now you need to manually transfer these batch records to batch numbers within Inventory Management using a transfer posting 'material to material'.
If you change the level from plant level to a higher level, it is possible that batches with the same batch numbers in different plants are actually identical.  In this case, all you have to do is remove stocks (including previous period stocks) so that all batches with the same batch numbers, except one, can be reorganized.
When you convert from plant level to material level, the material is then to be handled in batches in all plants in which it is defined.
    =========================================================
    Hope this helps..
    Regards,
    Siva

  • Blocing Movement Type on PLANT LEVEL

    Friends,
How can we block a Movement type on Plant / Co. Code level.
( As far as I know, we can do it at Transaction code level )

    HI
I think you can restrict the transaction for a concerned movement type in OMJJ at the plant level.
Go to OMJJ. Select a particular movement type and click on the transactions allowed. I think you can remove the unwanted transaction here for the concerned Mvt. Type.
    Hope this helps.
