Posting cannot be generated

Hi Experts,
Are account types different for business partner items and G/L items?
While maintaining default values for repayent methods/payment medium in SPRO I am getting an error that my account is not a reconciliation account for FI-CA and it is not classified in the master record as a reconciliation account for account type 'V'. You can only use accounts of this type for business partner items.
Pls suggest me how to solve this error?

Richa,
I guess you r trying to config values in EK01. In that case, your GL Account should always be a recon account. In FS00-control data tab stip, u shud select ' Recon acct for acc type' as Contract acc rec and pay'....<say X1>
Simlarly in EK02, you should select a Non- Recon GL Account<say X2>.
Now wen u post an OI in FICA, the entry wud be as follows:
DR BP/Cont Acct
CR X2 GL Account....
So when u tr Recon key entries to FI-GL, the entry wud be
DR X1 Acc
CR X2 Acc
<I do not have any active ISU with me...u may need to take the entries other wise if not correct !!!:(>...
So to solve u r prblm, config in FS00 as suggested above.

While I was developing a web dynpro application, I had an error but I couldn't understand this error. Before I took this error message, only I changed bound one context node to another context node in a RadioButtonGroupByKey.Therefore, when I pushed activate button, I took an error message.This error message said "The Web Dynpro component cannot be generated due to serious (syntax) errors". What does it mean ? How can I find out where is the error in the application. Also, I think the reason of this error message is about a BC problem. I am waiting for your comment urgently.

Just delete the context (by using the context binding) and bind the field with the correct node and try to activate .
One more suggestion is that after deleting the binding and before binding to other node check it that whether that binding was properly deleted or not.Some times its not deleting the binding.

This is a service Creation from the PM order to Purchase Sercive Requisition.
The Error Message Is Generated :Purchase requisition for service activity / element cannot be generated
Diagnosis
Due to the system settings, the system is trying to generate a purchase
requisition for a service activity or a service activity element.
No service package has been created for the activity/element.
As a result, the system cannot generate a purchase requisition.
The activity/element is created or released, but the indicator for
generating a purchase requisition is not set.
Create a service package for the activity/element and then generate a
purchase requisition.

Solved From PM side

F110 - Posting orders: 2 generated, 0 completed???

Hello,
Carried out Automatic Payment Run through F110
Posting orders: 2 generated, 0 completed
In Payment Run Log, Accounting Docs. are shown however, infact Accounting Docs. are not generated by clearing open items within vendor account. Open Items within vendor account are Overdue Down Payment Requests
What could be the reason for such behaviour?
Will really appreciate your inputs on this

I am facing issue with F110,
Posting orders: 8 generated, 7 completed.
The Payment Run Log shows a problem with the Form Type.
I have checked SM13 as well and the log shows:

Clearing: Line item 005 in document 6650 1600001334 2012 already cleared.
Finally, can any one help me out that Is there a problem with the Form as per the Payment Run Log or is it because of SM13 log showing Line item cleared???

Nfor table ZPP cannot be generated, error while transport

I have made a change to ZTABLE ( essentially added another field which is not key field ).
i have checked that all are active.
technical settings are complete too.
now when i adjust in se14 it shows me no error.
but when i transport to Quality i get the eroor
E-nametab for table ZPP_MATERIAL cannot be generated.
hence it does not refelcet in another server...
what shal i do?

check the transport request is transported properly are not if yes transport again.
and there is a possibulity of copying the dataelement in other request.
check with all the requests by checking these two you will definatly solve your problem.

Mapping Code cannot be generated after reconsile

This is the second project I am about to deploy, but just before deploying to production I found out that after adding some cube attributes and reconcile the target into the cube mapping I get a message with NO errors.
Code cannot be generated.
See validation details.
I went to the validations details and I found
VLD-0001: Validation completed succesfully.
This had happen before so I end redoing some mappings, 1 or 2. But this one is too large.
Is anyone aware of bugs after reconciling the targets in the mappings.

I found it.
After the reconcile to the target, since I using a Loading Type Update/Insert the mathcing constraints is lost. So I just re-select the matching constraint an the mapping is working well.

When trying to approve an admin charm we are getting warning : change documents cannot be generated
Diagnosis
Change Documents cannot be generated.
System Response
The status is reset, the action is canceled.
Procedure
Your Change Request Document contains data which cannot be used for the generation of the follow-on change documents.
Please check the following possible errors:
The chosen project in project field of the 'Details' assignment block is a project without a maintenance cycle or the assigned maintenance cycle is in a status where the generation of Change Documents are not allowed. The generation of projects is for example not allowed if the project is in a final status.
If possible, change the project or choose a phase in the maintenance cycle which allows the generation of Change Documents. If this is not possible, this project cannot be used.
The 'Scope' assignment block contains scope items for with a chosen IBase which is not the IBase of the productive system in the one (or more) logical components assigned in the chosen project. This is only relevant for the change category 'Urgent Correction', 'Normal Correction' and 'Administrative Change'.
Choose the right IBase for the change category scope item.
If a change is not possible because the Change Request was approved and the fields are not edit able, set the Change Request to 'Validation'. Then the data can be changed and the Change Request can be approved again.

Have you checked all the possible errors stated as in your error?
1. Do you have proper auth to create, proper system assigned with the dev role and ibase created?
2. is it new CR or you are trying to extend the scope? if this case, what is the status of CR? check out
ChaRM: RfC process stuck at "Being Implemented"
3. whether your project has the valid maintenance cycle assigned? you can check in solar_project_admin maintenance cycle is open ?
4. what is the phase status of maintenance cycle and project cycle. check this allows to create CD, with the status as development with release ?

"Jump distance is too large and cannot be generated." in BI custom exit

Hi folks,
we got a mega include with plenty of BI exit variables as part of the EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001 (enhancement RSR00001 - BI: Enhancements for Global Variables in Reporting; /nsmod) and face now the following problem:
"Jump distance is too large and cannot be generated." when activating the source.
It seems we reached a certain limit of ABAP statements or LOC. How can we extend this limit
or solve this challenge?

Hi,
I assume that you have used condition statements like if...endif.
Every condition statement can hold only 32 KB of code. This issue can be resolved by modularizing the code or changing the logic in such a way that you dont hit the upper limit.

In smartforms the error "Jump distance is too large and cannot be generated" is displayed .
The detailed error desciption is :
A jump distance is too large and cannot be generated.
A control structure or a routine with "CHECK" or "EXIT" contains
too many ABAP statements.

Remove dummy portions in the smartform and then generate it again and check.
If your smartform is with too many nodes and program lines then the error would occur.

Hi All,
I am working on a User Exit for HR module. I am getting an error while activating the code. The error says.."Jump is too great and cannot be generated...A control structure or routine CHECK/EXIT contains too many ABAP statements.".
I had observed this error before also and I tried to remove the Check & Exit statements from the User exit code. Now a stage has come where I am not able to find any Check or Exit present in the code which can lead to this Jump error.
Is there any other reason for the error? How can I remove this error ??

Variables of work item text cannot be generated

hi everyone,
In HR Leave approval workflow, When i delete a request the 'requestcancel' event is triggered and the corresponding unapproved workflow 'WS00400078' is getting triggered. I am getting user decision workitem in inbox. When i execute it is going into error mode(red). In workflow log, I am getting the following errors,
1. 'variables of work item cannot be generated'.
2. error in the evaluation of expression '<???>&ABSENCE.VALIDITYEND&' for item '1'.
similarly for 'validitybegin', and 'description'.
and also getting error ' method container for work item cannot be created' , ' unable to instantiate object ABSENCE'.
Please provide a solution.

Does this always happen? Sounds like a problem with the bindings. As the error suggests, the ABSENCE object instance isn't being created. Check in the workflow log and check those bindings.

HP MS218 Not Booting - Does not POST - Cannot reach BIOS

Hello,
I have an MS218 (product number: BR372AA #ABA) that I have been having issues with. It used to work fine (ran on WinXP), but currently will not even boot properly at all. No software or hardware changes were made to cause this problem to begin occurring, it simply just started happening one day when I went to turn the computer back on. The issue that I am currently experiencing is as follows:
- Power stays on, but nothing is ever displayed on the screen
- Does not post, cannot reach BIOS
- Acts almost as if it is resetting itself constantly, the fan in the back will start to spin for a second or two, then stop, then start again, and repeat indefinitely until I unplug the power adapter.
I initially figured it was a hardware issue, likely the motherboard, and began to troubleshoot the problem. As I removed non-vital components, the problem would persist. For instance, it happens regardless of external things (keyboard, mouse, etc.) being plugged in, or regardless of the hard drive or optical drive being plugged in. It still appears to happen in the absense of memory, however, I will instead hear beep codes (likely telling me that I don't have any RAM in). Ultimately, I decided to order a replacement motherboard, which recently arrived. Upon replacing the motherboard, the exact same problems happen, which leads me to believe that the motherboard was somehow not the culprit. I have also tried multiple power adapters to no avail, as well as resetting the CMOS battery without any luck. I'm really at a loss for what to do from here, and am currently sitting on hold with HP tech support.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

There are two more components that we haven't replaced or look at and I would approach them in the order listed.
1. Power supply
2. Processor
It sounds like it's a power issue the computer is getting enough power to start booting up and then losing it. Thus anytime I hear a power issue the first thing I think of is a power supply issue.
The other thing is it could be the processor. The computer starts booting, makes a call to the processor, fails, boots down, starts booting up, makes a call to the processor and here we are in a vicious cycle.
It could just be the processor needing reseated. Take it out, put it back in and make sure it's in properly and no pins are bent, or the processor could be bad.
