What are the settings required regarding Posting Changes in WM when I do a transfer posting using Mov.type 309 & 311 in IM inorder to generate Posting changes in WM ?

Thanks a lot for the response.
Actually I am new to WM & now configuring WM in my test server.
I have already made all the settings which you have mentioned above. The issue is when I do a transfer posting using 309 or 311 I am getting the following error
' Storage type 002 not suitable as an interface (SU management is active) '
For the WM mov type - 309 I tried by assiging the source storage as 002 & bin as well as with 002 only.
I have mentioned the destination storage type as 922 with dynamic indiactor as D storage bin.
Note : When I didnt assign any source storage type in my mov.type 309 then I am getting the error 'storage bin 001 (warehouse no) doesnt exist check your entry'
I.e system is not determing the source storage type using the storage search table.
Hope its clear.
Please advise where I am goin wrong & how to solve this issue.

Hi Experts,
     I have requirement ,where I need to change the 'amount in document currency value (wrbtr)' in line item of a accounting document, which is created as part Post Goods issue through VL02N.
          I have already check BADI's below as follows:-.
1) LE_SHP_GOODSMOVEMENT- No accounting document information flows in this BADI.
2) AC_DOCUMENT - Field 'WRBTR' is not available in substitutable fields list.
3) BTE-1050 - This BTE is not getting triggered while doing PGI.
        Please suggest any other possibilities to make the change.

VL02N : when I do Post Goods Issue in VL02N, I want to change amount.

I have a problem. I need your help.
To explain, when I tranfer a material from A plant to B plant,
first, I create Stock tranfer order( ME21N ).
And I create Delivery document ( VL10B ) with po number.
And I click "Post Goods Issue" in VL02N.
Just at that moment, I want to change the line item amount in the local currency.
because, the line item amount in the local currency is calculated as the move average price of the A plant.
I want to calculate as the move average price of the B plant.
I looked arount too much, but I couldn't find how to change.
You can help me. I hope so. Anything is good.
Please, let me know in detail.

Accepted change after post goods issue

when i made delivery and post goods issue in sap then if any body change the quantity of order in va02 the system accept ?

Hi,
yes..it will accept...but it will show a warning message as per standard.
Example: " Delivery of 1 EA has already been made for item 10" message no V4096
if you want to show as an error message try to change the category " W" to "E" in OVAH
so that it will not allow you to change the order quantity.
Note: Order quantity will be grayed out after creation of Billing only.

Issue with posting change note processing using movement type 309

while processing Posting change note using transaction LT05, i am getting error 'Available quantity is less than selected quantity'. we need the quantity in posting change note to be picked from same storage bin from where it has been picked during transfer posting using 309. currently, it is showing all storage bins in ascending order for selection while Posting change note posting.
if we reqwhile mass porcessing of Posting change note using LSMW, it pickes the 1st storage bin. if 1st storage bin quantity is less than selected quantity of PCN then it is showing above error.

The materials are managed by batch? Please check the batches of the material in the different storage bins. SAP asign the storage bin taking into account the material batch number and the oldest quant.
When the storage bin is not indicated, SAP looks at the batch number, and goes to the storage bin where this batch for the material is allocated. If SAP find more than one storage bin, SAP consumes from the batch that has the oldest quant.
I really dont understand deeply your question.

We wanted to Update the BSEG-ZUONR with sales Order no( traverse back to the Original SO during reversal) ( Basically Assignment field (ZUONR) in the Accounting side) after performing the Post Goods issue USING TRANSACTION VL02N.
Is there any user exit which can allow us to update the accounting field ( ZUONR) during the post goods issue ( Tcode VL02N)?

JClient equivalent post-change trigger and JTextField issue.

What is the equivalent event listener I could use to obtain the forms post-change functionality?
With following components:
JTextField
JComboBox
JCheckBox
For example on a JComboBox I would like to display a warning message dialog if a special value has been selected.
I've tried using itemStateChanged method on a combo box but the message dialog is displayed everytime the row gains currency.
Should I use focusGained to store the previous value and in the focusLosted method, check for a change?
What would you recommend?
One more question on JTextField, what is the method to track "global changes".
I've tried using the DocumentListener, but the methods changedUpdate,insertUpdate and removedUpdate are fired on each keyboard action.
Is there a way to track "global changes" on the whole text?

You can work at setAttribute (Vo or Entity) level.
You should be carefull, however, because in a cliente server environment it looks like the forms post-change event but in a 3 tier J2EE environment it's a server event and is not possible to interact with the screen in processing that event.

Post Change trigger issue

I placed a post change(Item level) trigger to LOV enable item(deptno) and insert the following code there.
But as expected other block items (dname, loc) of dept block won't come to the form once change the LOV.

the EXECUTE_QUERY cannot be given in POST-CHANGE Trigger.
I think your requirement is this.
some departments were already saved.
if some one tries to create new department with old deptcode, then the actual department details should retrieve.
if this is the case, then, give the code in the KEY-NEXT-ITEM Trigger.
and if the deptno field is varchar, then u have to change the code like this,

When I Press the Post Goods Issue Button for a delivery in SD the error dump appears.

Hey everyone, I think I've had some success with my time changing issues. I originally posted this to another user as a follow up to her question, but I'm reposting it here. Hope it helps:

So i went to the apple store to meet with an apple genius to ask him why my phone's time kept moving up 1 hour everytime I synced my phone. Well he said that he's never seen this problem before, and after a trying a reset and restore he let me exchange my phone. The problem is that when I went to sync my new phone the problem still persisted. They told me it was probably something to do with my computer and its time zone settings.
So I get home and click on my computers clock in the bottom right hand corner to bring up the date and time properties and sure enought my time is correct, the date is correct and the time zone is correct (Eastern Daylight Time). So I look through the different tabs (Date & Time, Time Zone, Internet Time). The first thing I tried to do was to change where my computer syncs its internet time. It was originaly set on NIST time. I then switched it to Windows time, but this didn't do anything. My clock would still change when I synced to itunes. The next thing I tried was fideling around in the Time Zone tabs. I noticed that the box that says "Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings" was unchecked, so I checked it and my computer's time jumped an hour ahead. So I left the box checked but moved my clock one hour back (to the correct time), clicked on apply and left it at that. I synced my iPhone and voila! The time didn't change! It stayed on the correct time! To to make a long story short, make sure that you computer's clock is set on "automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes, make sure your time zone is correct, and that the time is right when that box is checked. I hope this helps you. I'm glad I got a new phone out of the deal;)

As I mentioned in my post, whenever I checked that box the time would be incorrect. It would move up an hour. I've messed with this along time ago, way before I got my iphone. I think this had something to do with the daylight savings change that was implemented this year or last year. I dont remember if I never tried correcting it before, or if I couldn't, but this time I didn't have any problems correcting it. Anyway, since I couldn't correct it back then, I just left the box uncheck and decided that I would change the time manually when the next time change occurs. But it seems to work fine now so all is well.

Two TOs got created for a single Posting Change

Dear All,
A material document with movement type 309 got posted in a plant where WM is active.Here the material is moving from one batch to another batch.
The material document has 100 items.For each item when this movement happens a Posting Change will get created in WM and this will get converted to TO immediately through background job.
For all the materials except one this is happening fine, ie if for example if the quantity in the material doc is say 100 PC,then posting change will get created for 100 PC and this gets converted to single TO with 100 pc
But for one materal , for a Posting change of qty 90, two TOs got created with same qty ie 90 pcs each.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.What may be the reasons for this

Problem Description:
1) Single Posting change getting converted to two TOs with same quantity each

Sceanrio:
Material Document is posted with 309 movement,for moving a single material from single batch to different batches. The material document consists of 140 line items for the same material, but movement happening to 140 different batches.
For example First line item of the material document corresponds to movement of the material
From batch 1530040 to batch 71656W01 with quantity 105.438 DIE
Second line item
From batch 1530040 to batch 71656W02 with quantity 105.374 DIE
For each line item, once the movement is posted in IM, corresponding Posting Change get posted in WM with the same Quantity. A background job converts Each Posting Change to single TO with same quantity.
For example: For the first line item , Posting change 713513 got created with quantity 105.438 DIE which got converted to TO 1057743 with same quantity ie 105.438 DIE
Issue:
But only for one line item, the Posting Change with Quantity 90.901 DIE got converted to two TO s of quantity 90.901 each. And the posting change status is Partially Processed
Because of this, we are not able to go inside the Posting Change neither in the Display mode or Change mode due to the above mentioned error message.
Please let me know your thoughts on this

Can not "post goods issue" against Vendor Return PO.

**I have a problem During the "Vendor Return Through Purchase Order" Process.I crated a PO with return flag set.**
**Then 1) Created a outbound delivery against purchase order (VL10B)**
2) Created a Billing (VF01)**
3) Next is VL02N - While doing the "post goods issue" where i got following error message "Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 161 X X _ L)"**
Its shows setting related to Mvt 161 to update .I check allowed transaction with respect to 161....VL02N is there .....But don't understand what change needed in "Update control /WM movement type is needed.....Pls suggest any solution........Thanx**

Diagnosis
The system could not find entry 161 X X _ L in any of the movement type control tables.
Procedure
Cancel current processing.
Contact your system administrator.
Action to be taken by the system administrator
Check in Customizing for Inventory Management under Copy, Change Movement Types whether the entry is contained in the Update control view for the movement type.
If the entry is missing, proceed as follows:
For standard movement types, this means that the given process is not supported using the present data combination. Do not create any entries without prior arrangement with your SAP consultant. Otherwise, incorrect postings may result.
For customer-defined movement types (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z), this may mean that they have not been fully defined. Delete the movement type and re-create it by copying a standard movement type.

1) I had assign delivery Type (RL -Returns Purchase order) to my document type. Assingnment of delivery type thru
spro>MM->purchasing>purchase order->set up stock transport order--->assign delivery type and checking rule....
2) MvT - 161----If i modify 161 wrt to GR Returns what modification is needed ? ......
3) VOV6 - I had checked it ,maintain it, but that is not relavant in my case....
4) During PGI system pick 161 as defalult MvT.....can we change it t0 122 ? but how...??

No quants exist for posting changes. Creating TOu00B4s in LU04.

When creating transfer orders in LU04, we get an error message "No quants exist for posting changes'. We are using batch managed and serialized materials. Using QM interface, so, inspection lots are created at Goods Receipt. When QM team "accepts" batch materials during inspection lot, there is no problem, but when "accepts" serialized materials, the system creates posting changes notices but can not create transfer orders sending the message before described. This is because after receiving the serialized materials, we receive one piece at a time in order to create one inspection lot for every serial number. But when we put away the materials, we put them away in the same bin. so, system assigns one quant and one inspection lot to the bin, updating the last one every time we put away one serial number. When system tries to look for the inspection lot number selected in QA32, is not finding it in the bin at WM level because the bin only contains the last inspection lot that was put it away.
With batch managed numbers there is no problem since SAP divides the bin in different quants with the correspondent batches assigning an inspection lot to each quant.
Is there any alternative to solve the issue with the serialized materials? We are using SAP ECC 6.0.

The reason why we put away serialized materials into the same bin is because materials are physically small and they fit more than one in each bin. The warehouse is structured in this way and we plan to use it like that because it wouldn´t be feasible to create one bin for each serialized material. Is there any other way to manage this situation?

Goods picking and Post goods issue in VL02N

Dear All,
Am hving problem in Picking goods and Post goods issue.
This is for the Stock Transport Order with Delivery via Shipping
Supplying plant is 1000(SAP std,sloc 0001) and Receiving plant 1100(sloc 0001).
Sales org:1000
Distrbn Chnnl:10
Division:00
1.maintained matrial for both the plants.
2.Creted STO by using DOC type as "UB" and item cat "U".
3.And getting the Shipping data for the material in the STO.as shipping point is 1000.
saved the Po.
4.After that i done the GR w/o PO for the material using Mvt type 501.
5.Then,VL10B creating Delivery doc.n this is also created.
6.but when i do the picking and PGI in VL02N there picking field is greyed out bt i have tried to mangae that when i give the picking Qty in the picking qty field system is throwing the following error.

Diagnosis
For this item, picking is carried out using warehouse management transfer orders since the material is stored in a warehouse with random storage.
System Response
The system does not allow you to enter a picking quantity manually. The picking quantity is copied automatically into the delivery during the creation of the corresponding transfer order.</b>

Hi Vijay
By changing storage location you could do b'coz the new storage location is not maintained with warehouse, hence no need to perform warehouse transactions (TO creation and confirmation) before inventory mgmt transactions (PGI).
For trying pick up with WH, first u should have enough stocks in approppriate storage bins and u should perform pick up by creation of TO and confirmation.
