Posting Date in 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL not always filled

Who knows a solution to the following issue:
The posting date (BUDAT) is used for assigning production order data (work center view) extracted with 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL to reporting periods in BW reporting.
When testing the extraction with 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL, the field "BUDAT" is only rarely filled. (AFRU-BUDAT is filled for the concerned orders). Therefore period reporting is not possible.
What could be the reason for the missing BUDAT, i.e. when does the extract structure MC04P_0ARB  provide a posting date? What are the conditions which need to be fulfilled in ECC system before extraction?
Any hint for resolving the issue will be appreciated!

Hi,
Most of the times data won't fill in the base tables, because the reason is, at the time of data entrry by users, there are certain conditions , so until and un less all that conditions fullfill, then only all feilds will fill in the base tables. I faced the same problem for 2lis_04_p_matnr datasource, I'm not getting Batch, so I enhaced teh datasource. So better add ZZ feild to datasource and enhace the ds based on AFUM table (Based on the process order)
Thanks

  • While creating miro error message posting date 009 2011is not open

    sir
while creating miro the error message is not open open for the posting date 009 2011

    Hi,
The date format you have mentioned 009 2011 won't be supported by SAP system. Please enter it in correct format. If the format is OK an not working means MM posting periods are not open for this month this error will come.In MMPV give company code and specify the period to close  and save.Again go to same transaction open the period for this month. I hope this will resolve your issue. Thanking you.

  • Data value changes not always reflected in .jsp code

For example, I can change the data value of an output text field, run the project and find that the new value is not always what shows up. I get the old value instead. I have to then go into the .jsp code and modify the value= property to get the new text to display. The new value, however, was being displayed in the designer window. I can also change a form name or some other component ID and the .jsp code may still contain references to the old name as well as the new name. This causes runtime exceptions. I am new to Java programming . Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I am using the 30-day eval version of Creator. I have tried the referesh, build only , etc., but still run into problems.

    Hi,
Could you please list some steps in case there's a bug
    and include the jsp source.
Also, I suggest you to get the latest updates.

  • Losing bits of data and touchscreen not always responding accurately Palm Tungsten E2

Odd malfunctions occurring in my 2.5 year old Tungsten E2 - not sure if they are related...
    1. I have started to lose contact information - in the last three days 2 client files that have disappeared.
    2. Occasionally receiving the message "your battery is low and you may lose data" except my battery is fully charged
    3. The touch screen is inaccurate - more and more often the scrolling feature does not work or will not give me the right contact. Cannot get the file or function I am choosing. Have tried soft booting and recalibrating the stylus to no avail.
I stopped into a retail store that carries Palm wondering if it was a battery issue, but they did not think so... also tried running the DbFixit program with no results.
    Thanks for any help!

With this issue, it will be 1 of 2 things. The software is corrupted on the device, or there is a hardware/multiple hardware issues on the device. Have you done a hard reset? This will remove all data from the device and bring it back to how you go it out of the box. With this I would start there. If you do not know how to do one go here.

  • Posting date filed not available to modify in invoices from SRM

    Hi there.
When we try to create an invoice from SRM ITS, the field posting date it is as displayed field, we can not populate it with another date. The value of this field is always the actual date.
Is it possible to activate this field in order to modify the content?
    Thanks and regards.
    Raúl.

    Hi All-
Though this is claimed to be standard in SRM 5.0 in the release notes, the Posting Date field is not displayed in the SRM Invoice Basic data screens or is not editable rather. We had the same issue and SAP created an OSS note for us.
The OSS Note number is OSS note 1082248.
Pls assign points for usefull answers !!

  • MRRL  Document posting Date REg

    Dear All,
In MRRL invoice verification through ERS  selection screen Posting date field is not available its always posting the documents on the system date.
is is any possiblity to get the posting date in the selection screen?..
    any inputs...

Agree, there's virtually no ERS config. I suspect this is hard-coded so unless you have a sensationally good reason to modify the system, suggest you live with it as is.

  • Posting date and posting periods

    HI Experts,
I am practicing IDES for SD. While using T VL02N for post good Issue I got this error:
<b>Posting only possible in periods 2006/12 and 2006/11 in company code 1000
    Message no. M7053
    Diagnosis
The posting date entered is not within one of the permitted posting periods (current period/previous period).
This can be due to one of two reasons:
The correct current period has not been set in the system.
For the system, the first of the entered periods is the current period. At the beginning of a new period, your systems administrator must change the current period in the material master record, using the function "Shift periods". This has not yet been done.
You have entered a wrong date in the field "Posting date".
    Procedure
Check the posting date and correct it if necessary. If your input is correct, inform your systems administrator that the "period shifting" (period-end closing) process has not yet been completed. Copied from M8022</b>
I don;t think there is problem with my posting date. Can someone guide me on how solving this
    Thanks
    Yael

Go to OMSY and check the periods are current peiods or not to ur comp code?
If it is not the current period.
close the posting period by going to MMPV.
let us say comp code EG, YEAR-2006  PE-6
so you have to close the posting periods for all months till this month.
    from comp code-EG
    To comp code- EG
    period-7
    fiscal year-2006
repeat the same but with period-8(month) 9,10,11,12,
and do the same for 2007 too till you get the current month in OMSY T-Code.
you need to do close the period end of every month.
    thank you

  • Posting Date of Depreciation in a different day

    We have the following problem
Once a month we run the automatic process of u201CDepreciation Posting runu201D but the posting date (In GL) is always the last day of the month.
We want that the posting date could be a different date inside the month, but the transaction u201CAFABu201D only ask for the period and always use the last dayu2026
Where could we  define a different posting date for the  u201CDepreciation Posting runu201D process?
P.D. We consolidate with other companies in legacy sistems that have different Periods and the last day of the month usually don`t match with the legacy periods. For example our legacy "May" Period finish on May 30, May 31 is in the legacy "June" period.

    Thanks Jagdish
We try to use differet variants of calendars, and we can depreciate in different periods and dates, but it dosn`t depreciate in the amount that does in the standar calendar
    Example:
We make a fiscal periods like this
1 may to 30 may as MAY; and 31 may to 31 june as JUNE,
We depreciate correctly MAY but the amount corresponde only from 1 to 30 (as should be)
But what we actually want is that the depreciation from 1 may to 31 may (standar calendar) could be posted on May 30 to ensure compability in the legacy reporting system.

  • Credit Limit VS Posted Date Check

    Dear Experts
Our client have a requirement on customer credit limit and I would like to seek for some good solutions.
Here I provide one sample scenario: In SAP Business One a customer with a credit limit of $100,000 and account balance of $110,000. After a posted date check of $20,000 is deposited, customer account balance will be reduced to $90,000 and a Sales Order/ AR Invoice with amount less than $10,000 can be added for that customer without credit limit alert.
However, our client thinks that it is not make sense to reduce the customer account balance given that a posted date check is deposited as the posted date check may not be cashed if the customers do not have money in their account.
Would it be possible to separate posted date check payment amount from deducting the customer account balance? or would it be other workarounds?
    Thank you very much
    Regards
    Elton

    Dear jbrotto
    Thanks for your reply.
Could you explain in details on how to make use of the commitment limit?
As far as I know, commitment limit also considers the account balance of customer

  • Drill down on posting date and Document number

    Hello Gurus,
In a Bex report, I am looking at account balance on a keydate for a G/L Account. When I drill down based on posting date I do not see any values for the keyfigure 'Account balance as on key-date'....But after I drill down on posting date --> document number I get to see values for thie key figure.
What is this strange behaviour? Kindly explain.
    Regards,
    KP

    Hi KK,
This may be due to the values/quantities having different UOM or currency for different documents/posting date. For example,  Usually when there are mixed values like this, the aggregated value is not displayed, instead a '*' is displayed in the report result. However there is a setting in BW where you can mention how to handle such mixed values.
So I suggest you first check the currencies for the amount at the posting date/document level(when you drill down). If they are different then check the settings in the transaction SPRO --> SAP Business Information Warehouse --> Report-relevant settings --> General Reporting settings in the Business Explorer --> Presenting the numeric value in the Business Explorer.
Here check the value maintained for 'Mixed Values'. If it is blank, then this is the reason that no value is displayed.
    Regards,
    Shilpa

  • MIRO Posting in a period not yet open

    Hi Friends,
We experienced an unusual behavior of the system when posting MIRO. Now we have not opened the current period in MM to facilitate pending transactions of previous fiscal year . Hence the period 12/2009 & 11/2009 (ie February & March 2010) is open . But it is seen that one MIRO against a PO could be posted giving posting date as 7.4.2010 & Document date as 31.3.2010.How it is possible when no other MM transactions are not allowed . Even we tried to do MIRO for another PO but it is not allowing .How it allowed to post the invoice in a posting date which is not yet open .This is to indicate here that our FI period of the current month is open .
Please give your views on this .
    Dhruba

In OMSY the entry 2009 period 12 has not changed as we have not opened the new period of 2010.
Is there any conclusions on it or do any one guess what is the reason for such behaviour.

  • EDI invoice and posting date

    Hello,
We are implementing EDI invoice using BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_SAVE and MRBP (background engine).
We would like the posting date be set at the date when the invoice is posted. At the present time the posting date is set at the date when the invoice document is created from the EDI file.
We tried substitution rules (OBBH) but the field posting date (BUDAT) is not available for substitution.
We also plan to run a daily job which change the posting date of the planned and erroneous document (RBSTAT = 1 or 3) to the current date. But we do not find any BAPI which do it properly. As a result we plan to change the posting date directly in RBKP. Do you think this operation is safe and will not generate inconsistencies?
Or do you have any idea to solve our problem?
    Thanks
    Pascal

the documentation clearly says it can chnage invoice which is 'onhold'.
    FU BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CHANGE
    Short Text
    Invoice Verification: Change Provisional Invoice
    Functionality
You can use this method to change provisional invoice documents. Provisional invoice documents have the status:
    'On hold' or
    'On hold (from parking)' or
    'Parked' or
    'Parked as complete' or
    'Parked and released'
With regard to the reference document categories to which an invoice can relate, this method offers the following functionalities:
If you do not make any changes to the items of an invoice document, the originally chosen reference to a document category is retained.
If a change is made to items of an invoice document (i.e. if you supply the method with information via the Itemdata table, the purchase order is used as reference document category
