Posting date in settlement order

Hi experts,
I have problem with posting date in settlement order.
when I run settlement KO88 or KO8G, SAP take posting date as the last day of the month, so in FI runs the validation that I cannot post with a future date.
My question is: How can I change the posting date in settlement order? Instead of change the posting date manually, I want SAP use posting date as the system date, because I would schedule the transaction every day.
Please help me.
Thanks,
Gaetano

Scheduled the program RKO7KO8G.
Solved.

Another way of using is going deeper and modifying the SP_SBO_TransactionNotice store procedure to pull up the sales order posting date and passing that value to the invoice posting date.
I know that this answer belongs in the SDK section of the forum, but its also another way of doing it; besides formatted searches have there restriction and it not always work in certain circunstances like using copy to.

  • Posting date wise PM order actual cost

    Hi friends ,
I want a report where I can see the actual cost of PM orders , posting period wise :
Say an order's basic start date =  26.7.2011
material is reserved on the order on 29.7.2011 with planned cost Rs100 .
Now reservation is issued with MIGO with posting date  2.8.2010
Now I want a report where I can see this cost by posting period.
Say if I enter 1.7.2011 to 31.7.2011 then cost should be zero .
only cost should come when i will enter 8th month .
One more point should be there the report should not consider controlling area's currency .
Because our controlling area currency is USD and cost in our orders is in INR

  • Tax Code removed on changing the posting Date in Purchase Order

    Dear All,
This is with reference to the Purchase Order Document tax part, the document has been defined with the approval procedure and document series followed as annual series. The document series is linked to the period indicator as I am using the monthly series for the A/R & A/P Invoice.
Now some Purchase Order was generated in the last month i.e. 30 NOV 07 which has gone for approval. These document are approved in the current month (Dec 07) & user are trying to add the records it displays the message as "Date deviates from permissible range [Purchase Order - Posting Date]  [Message 173-11]" as the period indicator is changed to Dec 07 in document numbering.
The problem is when user changes the document date to Dec 07 for posting; system removes the tax codes, which is available in the document. Now as this is approved document user is not able to change or renter the tax codes.
In this situation what can be done as the same case will again happen for the next month.
Pls. provide the solution / work around for this problem.
    Regards,
    Yogesh Jadav

    hi yogesh,
    Cancel/Close the created purchase order.
First you should change docduedate in posting period upto december 2007/end of fiscal year,by following the below path.
    (Administration->sytem intialization-> general settings--> posting period tab)
    Create a new purchase order.
Send it for approval, authorizer can change date as required,
once the posting date changes, tax code get refreshed, authorizer
need to select tax code once again.
<b>Tax code normally get refreshed when you change posting date it's normal
    system behaviour.</b>
After authorizer does above changes,he can approve purchase order.
Once purchase order is approved, orginator can add it as purchase order in draft stauts.
<b>After approval we can not do any changes in purchase order.</b>
Hope my solution will solve the problem.
    Thanks,
    With regards,

  • Internal Order Settlement Posting Date

    Hi gurus,
Can I change the posting date on an Internal Order settlement or it has to be always the last day of the settlement period?

    Hi Susanna,
Yes, you can change the posting date. On order settlement screen KO88 or KO8G, under extras you can find posting date where you can enter the new posting date however, it should be within the open period.
    Assign points if helpful
    Thanks,

  • Calculate due on date in incoming invoice based on p.date of purchase order

We would like to calculate due on date in incoming invoice based on posting date of purchase order position. We want to be able to see the posting date of the purchase order lines from miro transaccion. Then we would add 85 days to calculate the due on date. I have tried to create an "item list variant" from OLMRLIST transaccion (Customizing - Logistics invoice verification) and add the posting date but it is not possible to access this value.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
have a look at badi MRM_PAYMENT_TERMS.
Check as well OSS Note 1156325 - BAdIs in the Logistics Invoice Verification environment
    Best regards.

  • Copy Due Date from Post Date

    Hello Gurus,
When i enter a sales order or production order, is there anyway that due date can be copied from post date (e.g postdate+3)?
So, user doesn't have to enter manually.
    Thanks

    Chirag,
This is quite simple.  The one shown below is for calculating the DueDate based on Posting date on Sales Order or any marketing document
    SELECT DATEADD(DAY,3,$[$10.0.DATE])
This will add 3 days to the Posting Date
If you want the same date as the posting date instead of 3 in the second parameter use 0.
    Best

  • Re:Query for no.of days delayed using Receipt from production posting date.

    Dear SAP Experts,
I need a query to calculate no of days delayed by using Receipt from production posting date and prod.order due date..i have already done the query but there is no link for joining the tables. Is there any link to join the tables..
Plz Suggest a good query for this issue..
    With Regards,
    Revathy

    Dear Revathy,
I think there is no need to link table if you just need calculate no of days delayed by using Receipt from production posting date and prod.order due date.
You may check this query with the above:
    SELECT T0.ItemCode,T0.DueDate,
    T0.DocNum, T0.CloseDate,
    Datediff(dd,t0.DueDate,T0.CloseDate) Diff
    FROM dbo.OWOR T0
    WHERE  Datediff(dd,t0.DueDate,T0.CloseDate) > 0
    Thanks,

  • Posting date in PM Collective confirmation

    Hi Exoerts,
we have one requirement. We want to change posting date for Work orders in IW48.There may be many work orders and we have to manually change these dates. At present we are pasting date from an excel file.
Is there any easy way to replace the date in a single step?We cannot paste more than 20 rows at a time.
Actually we want to input back dated dates here.
Can any one have a solution for this?
    Regards,
    Sibinraj

    Hi,
Excel sheet will be created for uploading the confirmation for the open orders & open operations.
ABAPers will create the BDC program by considering order status & operation status, confirmation can be done automatically. Its not doing manually by copying & saving the confirmation.
We need to define the template for confirmation to capture the details required for confirmation. Based on that, ABAP people will create the BDC program by applying all the required conditions.
By using BDC, i think its possible to do the Test run. If all the data is not having any error, then actual run can be done.
    Try this BAPI: BAPI_ALM_CONF_CREATE

  • Asset value date in Internal order settlement ko88

    Hi.
I have posted some expenses to the internal order. I m trying to settle it to AUC with tcode KO88.
In the selection screen of ko88 i gave asset value date as 15.07.2011 but system is posting with month end date only as 31.07.2011.
I read the sap note 98496. In that its mentioned that the asset value date given in settlement parameters will override the asset value date given in the selection screen of ko88.
I tried to update the AUC asset value date in KO02 where we give settlement rules but i couldnt find any field there.
Where do i update the AUC asset value date in settlement parameters. Can anyone provide me the tcode and the field where i update this asset value date.
    Regards,
    Padmavathi

    Hi
You can the same in transaction code KO02

  • Third Party GRN Posting Date to be Copied to Sales Order Line item Billing Date

    Hello Experts
I have a client requirement where in they want to bill line items in the sales order ( third party process ) to the end customer in sync with the GRN posting dates happened in the PO
For EG if GRN happened on 1st July 2014 then Billing Date should come in as 31st July 2014 so when they execute VF04 giving from and to dates as 1st july to 31st corresponding sales order can be invoiced
Actual problem is for suppose if i create a sales order in the month of june say 26th basing on the factory calendar setting and invoicing list maintained in the customer master system defaults the billing date to 30th June 2014 , and the same when user runs VF04 from 1st June to 30th June this sales order shows as due and mistakenly end user invoices the customer ( whereas logical GR would have only received in July 1st )
My requirement is similar to below threads but i am unable to find answer how to copy GR Posting date to Billing Date of the sales order line item
use GR Doc date as billing date
3rd party sales process (w/o ship notif) - Billing

    Hi Lakshmipathi ji,
As my requirement is to update the billing date at the sales order line item level , As a process user goes in executes VF04
    For Ex
Sales Order Created Date is 1st June 2014 then System Defaults Billing Date at line item to 30th June 2014
Now when i do GRN suppose on 1st July 2014 for that line item , system should trigger a code where in check the posting date of the GRN and override the same in the Biiling Date field of the sales order line item
So when VF04 is run for a month All the GRN which are recieved in the month of July are invoiced in July
Please share me your thoughts do we need to check any userexits from MM side which reads the posting date of GRN and then copies in to my third party sales order
    Regards
    Hiba

  • Good issue to Production order - Allows it in back posting date

    Dear all,
Good issue to Production order ( 261 Movement ), allows us to post the component in back dated eventhough stock is not avaible on that date.
Example - Component stock on date 10.02.2010 = Zero , I made it Good receipt on date 18.02.2010 and now stock is available on date 18.02.2010.
Now GI to Production it allows the qty on current and back Posting date also , I want control on date with error message. It should not allowed the GI for back date from 18.02.2010.
Because of this our MB5B report shows the negetive issue qty if i post in back date.
    Waiting for reply
    Thanks and Regards,
    Saurabh

    Hi SAurabh,
PLease check whether Negative Stock is allowed for the valuation Area (plant).
GOTO >> SPRO >> MM>> Invetnroy management and physical inventory >> Goods issue/ Transfer Posting >> Allow Negative stock.
Untick the Negative stock allowed for your valuation area (PLant)

  • Issue with the Posting Date of the Purchase Order.

    Hi All,
There are fields in BW like SSL1: Time OK, SSL2: Qty OK, SSL3: Time & Qty Ok, SSL4: Days Late (Routines are written to calculate). These fields will indicate whether the delivery against a GR is OK or not with respect to Time, Quantity and the No. of Days..
But here the issue I am facing is
If there is only1 delivery/ GR against a single item the calculation in BW are correct - i.e. for a particular PO if there is only one delivery the above fields like SSL1: Time Ok, SSL2: Qty OK will show like the delivery is done within the specified time and everything is OK (in case if it is delivered within the allotted time)
But if there are multiple deliveries or multiple GR's  posted for one PO item, the calculations are going wrong i.e. even if the delivery is done well within the specified time it is showing the wrong calculations like it is delievered too late. Because in this case the earlier dates are overwritten.
Can anyone throw me some light on how can I go about solving this issue.
I am thinking of declaring the Posting Date as the KeyField of the DSO as of now it is a Data field  I also want to know the impact of assigning this as a Keyfield.
    Thanks in advance,
    Prasapbi

    Hi,
As I understand, you have a DSO based on Purchase Order and your key field is PO and its line item. The problem as you stated will always be there if you have multiple deliveries/GRs created for a single line item because the system will overwrite the entries for same key.
Problem with adding Posting date as keyfield will be that then your key will be PO-PO Lineitem-Date. When PO will be created, the Posting date will be blank(correct me here if I am wrong), therefore you will have one entry for same PO-line item combination. One without date and other with date, which again would be incorrect. If my assumption about Posting date was wrong, even then your data may not be correct because then you may have many entries with same posting date which again would overwrite each other.
If there is any direct link between PO line item and number of deliveries that will get created for them, then you can bring that field in DSO as keyfield. But I don't think there is any such field.
Looking at your report requirement, I would suggest that you make a DSO based on Goods Receipts and then calculate these keyfigures by comparing the dates between GR posting date and PO line item date.
Else you can change the way your datasource works(if its generic one based on function module). Since your main requirement is to check whether the GR posting date has met your SLA or not, you should fetch all the details only when GR is created and make your key field as PO-PO Line item-GR

  • How to get material's last posting date of issuing to production order?

    Hi,
In my scenario, I need to get material's last posting date of issuing to production order (e.g. mov. typ. 261).
I tried to select the material documents whose movement type is 261, and restrict the posting date from month to month each time, until the first material document is selected.
But this method seems quite inefficient.
What kind of algorithm is more effient to do this?
    Thanks
    Wesley

    Hi,
    select max( budat )
      from mkpf
      into gv_budat
where mblnr in ( select mblnr
                         from aufm
where aufnr = gv_aufnr "(Prod. Order)
and  matnr = gv_matnr "(Issued Material)
                            and bwart = '261' ).
