Posting on Craig's list

I'm having trouble posting a photo on craigslist.com because the photo is "too big". I can't find where there are options to make the photo smaller when choosing the photo. Please help.

Video to Craig's list?

Does anyone know how to make a photo of a video and send to Craig's list? Or maybe send the video to Craig's list? I don't have quick time pro or any other photo softward. Is it worth it to purchase Quick Time Pro? What else could I use that for?

When you import a movie into iPhoto it grabs the first frame as a jpeg preview. Select the file in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and set the Kind: to Current in the resulting dialogue. iPhoto will export that frame as a single jpeg.

And yes, you can grab a frame from a movie using it. It's also a very hand and quick movie editor.

Only if the item is still under warranty. Be careful when buying from sources like that. Be sure the seller has disabled Find My Phone and erased the device. You don't want to be caught in the Find My iPhone Activation Lock situation in which you cannot use the device.

I need to set up data as POST format before I POST it.
To be more specific I know how to post within a JSP if an xml element is like:
<AuthMethod>urn:opengeospatial:authNMethod:OWS:1.0:password</AuthMethod>
where the field is AuthMethod and the value is urn:opengeospatial:authNMethod:OWS:1.0:password
but what I am not sure of is when the field has values embedded within it like:
<ServiceRequest DCP="HTTP_POST" mimeType="text/xml" encoding="UTF-8"><![CDATA[REQUEST=GetCapabilities&SERVICE=WMS]]></ServiceRequest>:
It has a field of ServiceRequest and a value of ![CDATA[REQUEST=GetCapabilities&SERVICE=WMS]]
but it also other value embedded with ServiceRequest like mimeType="text/xml" .

Aur-general "You are not allowed to post to this mailing list"

I found a font I needed a few days ago that I couldn't find in the AUR, so I made a package and threw it up on the AUR. A few days later, when I realized I didn't even end up installing it after the packaging, I searched for it to download and install it, only to find there was a package of that font from half a year ago, so I figured I'd go report my package for deletion.
The AUR wiki page states that removal requests should be emailed to aur-general. When doing this, I get an automated response from aur-general-owner stating:
"You are not allowed to post to this mailing list, and your message has
been automatically rejected. If you think that your messages are
being rejected in error, contact the mailing list owner at
[email protected]"
How do I get permission to send my removal request? And if getting permission requires something not so easy, could someone forward the email for me?

Uploading Photos from Mac (iphoto) to Craig's List. actual picture doesn't upload, just an unusable path

Unlike my old PC, I am unable to extract photos from I-photo to the Craigs List web posting location. I need this so as to offer items for sale.
Any ideas?

I recently put a photo on Craigslist myself. I first selected the photo in iPhoto and then used the iPhoto File menu command to export a copy to my desktop. There may be other ways but that definitely worked.

The forums have been having problems for about the last week or two with 'Internal
Server Error' issues, but this is the first I've heard of threads not appearing after being created.
The quickest way to reach the forums team will be to send in an email to fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com. Make sure you include a link to that thread and hopefully they can get the forum back into sync.

POST all items from list component

I've got an "List-component". Within this component I have an
x amounth of data-values liked to a "label". I would like to POST
those data-values to my server (in this case PHP, but thats not
important). I would like to do this together with
"TextInput-component".
To be clear. I don't want to post just the selected values,
but all de values in the List-component. Who can help me?

Loop over the dataProvider, and build whatever data transport

I am getting unwanted popup ads about software update for software that I don't have installed. I have an iMac 20", 2009, running 10.10.2 Yosemite. This just started this week. I read that Adobe Flash Player was causing problems with mac's and Windows pc's. I did the Adobe Flash Player update for windows 7, on my pc's. Is this my problem here on the iMac? I also get popup ads when viewing and crags list ads. they appear in the midle of the screen, and in the lower right hand corner. Any advice, suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. Is there a plug-in for Firefox 4.01 that allows tabs to open at the end? Millions of people do multiple searches on eBay and Craig's List - it is a pain to have to look at the results after each search instead of reviewing them when the searches are done

The the only answer I have found to this question does not apply to Firefox 4.01. The Plug-in for allowing tabs to open at the end that works in older versions of Firefox does not work in 4.01. I would like to know if there is a plug-in that works for 4.01 or when or if we can expect one.

Search MacUpdate (or any other of the several web sites that list Mac software) for something like "iTunes web". You'll find several utilities that can export your iTunes library listing to HTML.

That would only be involved if you wanted to provide a link to a given track on the iTunes Store.

Blog Post List - same date posts under one date listing (javascript?)

I have six blogs set up for a website. I have the blogs summaries appearing on the home page and in the individual blog index sections.
I would like all blog summaries (with the same date) to appear under one date entry and not repeat the same date for each item. Tech Support says this is possible with javascript (as is most things it seems), but I do not know javascript.

Can anyone help me out with some code or other recommendation for this?
