    Depends on the actual device.
If it's an iOS device you can sync via iTunes.
Other devices: Export from iPhoto to the FInder and send them from there.

  • What is the direct connect method for transfering photos from my macbook pro to my iphone without using iTunes syncronization? (iow: a simple photo copy from mac to iphone?)

I feel like I should know the answer to this. I can't believe it is a hard question.
What is the direct connect method for transfering photos from my macbook pro to my iphone without using iTunes syncronization? (iow: a simple photo copy from mac to iphone?)
    Easy? Right?
Just plug my iphone in to a mac and copy a photo from the mac to my iphone.
I don't have internet access - I can't email it, or mobileme it, or dropbox it.

iTunes. Other than that there is no direct method. However, do try the iPhone forums.

  • How to delete photos transferred from mac to iphone ?

I have searched on Google "how to delete photos transferred from mac to iPhone"
It returned the following result :
    To do so just:
In iTunes select the device icon in the Devices List on the left. ...
Choose Sync photos from, being iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac and Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements on a Windows PC.
Choose Select Albums and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
    Click Apply.
But the problem here is that I have deleted the album which I synced via iTunes on Mac.
Now how can deleted those synced photos from my iPhone ?

No. Hook it up to any computer running iTunes. Make sure that you do not have any of the other tabs set up to sync, so that you do not overlay the info you have on your device for Music, Movies, etc., then go the the Music tab and un-check Sync Music. This should remove all sync'd music from your device. (this is presuming that the Mac you sync with does not have any photos you do want to sync with your device. If it does have any photos you want to sync, then instead of turning off the Music syncing altogether, you can just select what you do want to sync, and the sync will remove all other sync'd albums).

  • Videos from Yahoo or other websites not working properly in Safari

Videos from Yahoo or other websites are not working in Safari on Ipod Touch. I downloaded the plugin, but still it does not work.
    Is this functionality supported?

Mr. Jobs, who for some reason can't get an Apple employee avatar (seems strange doesn't it?) is correct that there is no Flash plugin for the iPhone/Touch. Apple did not want to use Flash lite for the the iPhone, which has a full browser, and according to the CEO for Adobe they underestimated the difficulty level in creating a version for the iPhone/Touch. He did say the "ball is in their court", and that Apple (that has had previous battles with Adobe) did have engineers working to help them.
Of course now that the CEO of Apple is calling their code "hideous" the cooperation may end.

  • Transferring Music and Photo Files from Mac OS 10.5 to iOS 6.0

    Hello,
I recently purchased an iPad 4 that runs iOS 6.0. I would like to transfer my music and photo libraries from my iMac that runs OS 10.5.8 ((Leopard). My iMac is network wirelessly on my LAN along with an iBook, printers, and a PC. I understand that I'm not able to add the iPad to the network, unfortunately. However, I found an app (Good Reader) that lets me create a WiFi connection between my iMac and iPad, but only transfer files into the Good Reader app itself.  Can someone suggest a workaround to be able to transfer my music and photo libraries so I can use them on the iPad? thank you very much for any ideas.

  • How do i upload my albums from iPhoto to other websites.

I am trying to upload an album from Iphoto to a website.  The website takes me to my harddrive.  But my photos are in iphoto and the library is shaded out.  It wont let me save the photos to the desktop or burn a cd or anything else.

  • Having Difficulty in downloading photo albums from MAC PC to Ipad

I am having difficulty in downloading phot albums/pictures from MAC PC to I-Pad. Plugged in the I-PAd went through I Tunes, created album hit sync etc, and it is not working, any suggestions would be helpful.

The options your configuring in iTunes are to sync the photos back to the iOS device after you import the photos using iPhoto. iTunes does not import photos. Launch iPhoto and connect your iPad to your Mac. iPhoto will determine what photos need to be imported and then click Import in the top right corner of the iPhoto window. Hope that helps

  • Transferrin Photo's from Mac to Mac

Just bought brand new Macbook Pro. Currently have an Imac with a bunch of photo's on it in Iphoto. Also have a Network set-up in my house. Question is: What's the easiest way to transfer photo's from my Imac to my new Macbook Pro? Thx.

If your local network is hard wired just copy the entire iPhoto Library package from the Pictures folder on your iMac to the Pictures folder on the MBP. If it's a wireless network then I'd either connect the two via Target Disk Mode or, if you have one, use an external HD to move the library.

  • Transferring photos/videos from Mac to PC...while preserving metadata

In short, I need to move my media collection (music, movies, photos, etc) off from my macbook pro and on to my windows server (Win 7) due to hard drive space limitations. I'm afraid that if/when I transfer all of my media over to the NTFS storage drive located on my Win7 machine, I'll lose all of the metadata attached to each picture/video, you know...all the dates, times, places, etc. Will this data actually be lost? Any recommendations aside from keeping it on an HFS+ drive? For what it's worth, much of it has been taken via iPhone. Additionally, I'm finding that I'm running in to more trouble actually transferring it. Is there a good application to do this? (CCC failed out, the manual copy/paste failed too.)

Barbara-- I just found an answer on a previous thread that seems to work-- dragging the jpgs on the mac from their folder onto the desktop, and then from there on to the thumb drive.  I still get the two forks, but the main one opens.  Question: (unless you know a better way to go that doesn't create this)-- is there any reason not to delete the data fork?  It seems to open fine when it is deleted.

  • Photos dropped from Mac & Time Capsule

My problem started last week when iPhoto dropped all photos (about 6500) saved since 2006 (when i got my Mac).  iPhoto now only shows photos saved prior to 2006 from files that were not in iPhoto previously (?).
When I try to have Time Capsule restore photos from the lost dates (2006-2011), I get a blank Time Capsule page showing "downloading photos" but after hours of waiting, no photos appear, nor are there any file names in left column.
Problem probably started while I was trying to set up a new program - maybe Mobile Me or iDisk.
I'm quite sure lost photos have not been deleted, but that I somehow locked them out.
    Thanks for any suggestions.
    Re: Time Capsule - iPhoto

Can you see the old photos in the backups?  (If you're not sure how, see the pink box in #15 of Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.)  If so, try restoring a few that way;   if that works, try restoring whole groups.
If that doesn't help, try repairing your backups, per #A5 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting.
If still no help, there are a couple of long shots in #E9 of that same link.

  • Photo trans from mac to pod

    got an 80 gig.
does anyone know how (third P sftwr? or some kind of "drag&drop" tecnique?) to transfer photos to pod without using iTunes so that they can be viewed on the pod?

no prob. thats what this forum is supposed to be for. free exchange of ideas and the like.
I have been much more far afield than version tracker and still nothing.
BUT I realised and saw that a fellow "forum-ite", ttgal (in this forum), had the same concern.
this is the method I have come up with.
I realy dont like to use iPhoto except as a place to download my cams to. I work mainly with photoshop so all my "finals" come from that not iPhoto.
    anyway...
    the workaround....
here is what I have done as a "reach......"..oh sorry...."workaround" to the PROBLEM.
make a folder on your desk top (or where ever).
name it "pod pix" or something.
within that folder make two folders.
label one "excude" and the other "include".
within the "include" folder put all your fotos in other folders.
exaple: I do underwater reserch so I have 3 folders within the "include" folder labled "fish"..."algae" ..and "invertabrates".
as I get new pix I add them to the apropriate folder.
any that I do not want I put into the "exclude" folder.
    now...
in iTunes with your pod pluged in, ALWAY be in "manual mode" by the way.
go to the "photo" tab at the top of the pod main page.
tell it that you want to "sync photos from..." and then navigate it to the folder labled "include".
this will show ,as in my case three folders that can be selected for syncing.
these will show up as what I call "sub libraries" on the pod.
    I.E.
    you have
Photo Librarie (and as in my case)
    invertabrates
    algae
    fish
that way every time you plug in the pod and bring up iTunes it will "auto sync" to the folder "include" and adjust itself to what it finds in there.
this also keeps you from having to use iPhoto all the time.
FYI: song files are the only files other than .txt files (for notes) that you can "drag&drop" as a way to move them around freely.
should be that way for pix too ...but hay.....(see comentary at end).
what this tells the pod to do is scan to look and see if there are any new photos or anything that has been taken out and adds or deleats as it sees fit.
essentualy syncing is just that...making whats on the pod look like whats in the folder you have it syncing to.
its kind of the same as it does for address book and iCal in "contacts" when you have them synced.
you either sync or you dont.
    commentary:
apple sould have made this more user interactive/actuated and less automatic
but....hay they get paid big bucks to screw up like this and be so out of touch with the control that real people realy want.
    nice job...Jobs.
    cheers&aloha
