Posting stock into plant

Hello,
when i'am posting the stock into the plant, i'am getting an error-Account Determination for entry INT GBB-ZOB 3100 NOT POSSIBLE
CAN ANYBODY CLARIFY ON THIS PLS

T code OBYC give chart of accounts as internal and enter
select GBB and double click that
in the subsequent screen which is opening ,maintain necessary debit and credit accounts for 3100
Also in OMWD whether the valuation grouping code 0001 has been assigned to your plant
That also needs to be checked
If this is a real time issue take the help of MM and FI people
As all others said that posting stock for the first time you will face N no of challenges and you can search for solutions because these things are discussed enough no of times

How do i unblock the G/L account for posting stock ?

I am trying to post stock into WM through MB1C with 561 in Dev sand box.It throws the following error.
G/L account 139999 blocked for posting in company code 2301

Posting of QI stock into Unrestricted stock (URGENT)

Hi All,
At the moment, we are posting QI stock into Unrestricted stock using MB1B with Mvt type 321. But the problem is we have to enter each material & qty manually, i,e, if a PO has 10 lines, i have to manually enter each material in the PO & then the qty. Is there any other transaction or way in which i can do this transfer posting with reference to the PO, thereby the system automatically puts the lines in that PO & i can then delete the material or modify the qty if it has not passed QI check.
I tried in MB1B with Mvt 321 by creating with reference to PO, the system prompts an error & says not possible.
Hope my problem is clear, await inputs.

As mentioned by you i have done the settings.
1. If i enter the mvt. type 321 in MB1B & then click on create w/ ref to PO, i still get an error.
2. But if i just enter the mvt 321 & enter inside MB1B, there i now see a field called Purchase order. But if i enter the purchase oder number here, the materials inside this PO are not automatically displayed, the screen just becomes grey.
What i actually want is, when i enter the PO number, the materials should be displayed, which would resolve my issue.

Stock Posting for Different Plants

Hi MM Gurus,
Is it possible to post directly to a Work Order reservation from a different plant?
Example: A WO is raised and a reservation created for plant A and we want to move stock
from plant B and post it directly against the reservation. Is there a one step process?

Hi,
If you wish to do that, then open the production order, go to components tab, change the plant & sloc details in the component tab & save. Now you can post from the other plant directly via MB1A or MIGO or co27 with 261 mvt. If

Stock transfer plant to plant into blocked stock

Dear all,
is there a away to do plant to plant stock transfer and have the stock go into blocked stock automatically in the destination plant.

If your source plant stock is in unrestricted and your destination plant as blocked.
Then you can't do it within one movement type.
Suppose you have stock in plant XXXX in unrestricted and you want to transfer the stock to plant ZZZZ in blocked.
Then either you have to use 301 for plant to plant first, then 343 unrestricted to blocked or first 343 unrestricted to blocked, the 325 for plant to plant within blocked stock.

In production order header, you can see the goods recipt tab, in that tab you see in control data. there you need to select the stock type Blocked stock.
or at time of GR i.e MIGO you can select the stock type Blocked stock.

Inventory posting - stock in transit G/L account

Hello!
We have a unique requirement that we need to post the stock in transit inventory only if the delivery is for one particular customer (sold to party). It is our own company but not on SAP hence, on the books, an inter company transaction. All that is different in this case is the account assignment group of the customer which basically is no help in configuring OMWB (G/L account determination for inventory postings).
The material/plants/movement types are all the same for all transactions, thereby providing us with no 'uniqueness' in this particular transaction to post these stock in transit inventories to a different G/L. I could possibly look at having another movement type if that can help but then again, how will that be valid only for a particular transaction with this customer, I am not sure...
Can anybody provide me with a step by step instructions on how can this be achieved, if it indeed can be? Appreciate any help or posting here if anyone wants any more clarifications on the issue...

As you might already know that the G/L determination happen based on Movt type and the valuation class. in your case as the movt type and the val class are same, you willl not be able to customize to post it to different account
so for this you do 2 ways:
1: you create a new delyvery type and a new movement type so that you can configure the account determination (OMWB).
2. you can influence the account determination by writing a code in the user exit ZXMBCU02 here you can force the system to post it into the different G/L account.

It is not possible to move blocked stock between plants.
You have to transfer the stock into unrestricted- then you can move it to the other plant- then again a transfer posting into blocked stock.

Reg:Opening and Closing Stock For Plant

Hi All,
i want to calculate the opening stock and closing stock for plant wise for the given Posting Period Date.
Am having the opening balance and closing balance for all months but i need it as month wise.
considering this example,
the date is from 15.01.2010 to 15.03.2010 and for one plant
considering this example,
am having the opening stock from as 15.01.2010 to 15.03.2010 as 10,000 and the closing stock as 15,000.
but i need in month wise like below,
from 15.01.2010 to 31.01.2010 what is the opening stock and closing stock?
from 01.02.2010 to 28.02.2010 what is the opening stock and closing stock?
from 01.03.2010 to 15.03.2010 what is the opening stock and closing stock?
this is purely based on plant wise and not material wise?
could anybody say clearly how can i acheive this scenario?
i have referred MB5b,mc.9 transaction programs but still confused how to go with plant wise for a particular period?

Hi Experts,
While posting stock to a storage location of a plant , the system is giving me the following error message :
"Check Business Area of the company code" .

Hi gurus
If I created new material how can I post stock in to the material to process.
Ex:MMBE for stock checking.
But what is the t -code to enter some stock at materila.
also how what other transaction I can for stock posting at various scenarios.(I mean what other transaction codes for different things)

Save it. CHekc the Stock In MMBE for that material.

Transfer posting is done through MB1B T.Code which requires the necessary movement tyep
Transferring the material stock into another Material uses the mvt type 309
The quantity is posted from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing material into unrestricted-use stock in the receiving material
Prerequisite: both materials have the same stockkeeping unit.
Possible special stock indicators: E, O, Q, V, W

Transfer blocked stock between plants.

Hi everyone !
Pls. I need to transfer blocked stock from plant A to plant B.
The point is stock must be blocked in plant A and then I have to transfer to plant B, but stock must always be blocked just to avoid the selling process.

if you want do it with SD deliveries, then the answer is: not possible
but pure MM movements........
By changing the field selection for movement type 325 you can open the field 'receiving plant'. this will then allow a plant to plant movement of blocked stock. Whether you should do it or not is of course up to you.
I doupt that it is possible to do a 2-step movement for blocked or QI stock, because the 303 post the quantity to transfer stock. And transfer stock has no sub categories like QI or blocked. It is on the same level.
There is an OSS note 448761, it is for another transaction, but it might help you a bit to understand.
amongst other things following is said:
There are not two-step movement types for blocked stock since no stock in transit, quality inspection exists .

Error while posting stock from quality to return delivery

Hi ,
I am working in decentralized warehouse. I am posting stock from quality to return delivery in t code QA32. The following is the error message i am getting . i have also checked the movement type settings they are fine for 553.
"Posting only to free or blocked stock due to missing goods receipt".
Please let me know if i am missing any thing in config......

Hi Ilyas,
Can you check again the movement type? For return delivery movement type 122 is used and 553 is for GI scrapping from QI. You can check it in SPRO>QM>QI>Inspection lot completion> Define inventory postings.
