Postings on profit center but does not appear in the profit center report
Hi all!
I have a very strange problem. My customer is using cost of sales accounting. When I reconcile the cost of sales accounting profit and loss report with a profit center or cost center report I found that for a certain month there is a few descrepancies. I found that for a certain functional area I had postings on a specific account (account 451240 loss price differences) on functional area and both on cost center and profit center but these postings does not appear in the profit center or cost center reports. When I look at the postings in fbl3n or fs10n I can see that they are assigned to both cost centers and profit centers. How is this possible? How can a posting be made to a cost center or profit center but not appear in the corresponding reports?

Leopard: my account works, but does not appear in the login screen
I upgraded to leopard using erase and install. Because I was a FileVault user on Tiger, I could not use the migration assistant, so I just created a new account. As part of the creation, I also changed my userid and groupid to 1000, to match the rest of my NFS network, and I also enabled FileVault.
When the login window appears, my account does not show up. I can click "Other..." and enter my short name and password and it seems that everything is fine. However, I would like my account to appear on the login window. Currently, the only three items are Guest, System User (a admin account that I created), and Other.The rules determining whether or not an account is visible in the "login window" seem to keep changing with every OS X version - perhaps they changed again in "Leopard". For example, in Tiger, a user with the short name "Admin" was inherently hidden (and to my knowlege couldn't be made visible unless logged in), but this is not the case in Leopard.
I can't test this in Tiger, but on my Leopard system, it seems 1000 is a magic number - uid=999 and 1001 are visible, but 1000 is hidden from the "login window".
Sorry I don't know of a solution - it's all too new at this point so I can't even say if one exists. But thanks for asking an interesting question... -
X-rite colorchecker passport profile created but does not appear in the Camera Calibration tab!
I have installed x-rite colorchecker passport and lightroom 5.0. I followed the tutorial in setting up my camera profile and lightroom reported created successfully. However after restarting Lightroom, I could not find my created profile other than the Adobe Standard in the Camera Calibration tab.

Profiles are camera model specific so a Canon 600D camera profile will only be visible when a 600D raw image file is selected. You need to create profiles for each camera model separately. -

First off, I'm using Windows XP (and Mac SnowLeopard) Here's how it started. For some reason my ipod started showing up as a camera when I plugged it in. It works fine in itunes, though. But when I tried to access it from "my computer" it only
showed me the one and only picture I had on my ipod. I deleted that picture hoping it would no longer show up as a camera. When it still did I right-clicked on it in "my computer" and selected "properties". Under "autoplay" I
chose for it to 'not show up' or 'take no action' or some such deal when I plugged it in. I thought that would stop it from popping up the window that asks whether i want to 'open camera wizard' or 'open camera scanning' or 'open folder to view files' or 'take
no action' , etc. But now it won't show up in "my computer" at all. I also have a Mac with SnowLeopard. When I plugged my ipod into it my ipod doesn't show up in "finder" either! So basically my problem is not a mechanical one with hardware
or software; yht ipod still works fine in itunes. I just need to undo the change I made. I've searched all around my preferences, utilities, options, etc. It shows up on my "Device Manager" but not on "Disk Management".

To show up in Windows Explorer, you can try placing the iPod into
disk mode.
Moreover, i recommend you to
restore ipod to factory settings.
If this issue still persists, locate to device manager, uninstall and reinstall USB Mass Storage Device driver.

I disconnect the wire,

My Epson r800 prints, but does not appear in Printer List. It is connected via USB to the iMac. A Brother LH-2070N is connected via AirPort Extreme. I need to use Utilities to clean the head of cartridge, check levels, etc.. Is there a way to fix this problem?

will find Epson Printer Utility2. Click on it and it

Note. Epson utilities will not work unless the

Had the same issue with my 2200 photo and the above
worked.
Tried again after reinstalling the drivers. There is no separate Inkjet Folder, but the Printer Utility is within the Epson folder. Unfortunately, the r800 still does not appear in the Printer List, hence no utility. -

A field in a manual tabular form appears correctly using Firefox but does not appear or appears in another field when IE is used. Javascript is used to hide certain columns on the tabular form. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

The select for the report and the javascript that is used to hide the columns are displayed below. The data for Apex_item.select_list_from_lov(12,null,'LOV_METHOD_OF_ACQ') is shown in the previous column, Date Acquired, and the column for Method Acquired is blank. It appears correctly in Firefox. Please let me know if this is sufficient.
