"potentially vulnerable" Adobe servers?

I am seeing multiple errors in the Firefox vs. 3.63 browser's Error Console indicating "potentially vulnerable" Adobe servers, Here are a few:
acrobat.com : potentially vulnerable to CVE-2009-3555
w09p-0.acrobat.com : potentially vulnerable to CVE-2009-3555
acrobat.com connectnow : potentially vulnerable to CVE-2009-3555  (This one I'm having to remember as best as I can because it disappeared before I could copy it but it did reference the connectnow server)
Researching this further, I find the following information at this site: http://support.mozilla.com/nl/forum/1/635353 :
"www.server.com : Potentially vulnerable to CVE-2009-3555"
"means:
1. the server.com is vulnerable to a MITM attack discovered in 2009.
MANY servers are currently vulnerable.
2. mozilla is now able to test it, and the team is actually finding the best way how to inform the user.
3. This is Firefox identifying the https servers that are vulnerable to a renegotiation Man-in-the-Middle attack, Firefox gained this ability to make such identifications in 3.6.2, so this info is to be passed on to the webmasters of the servers shown, as it's an exploit of the TLS protocol that needs to be fixed on the server side. "
You should put pressure on server.com to remove the vulnerability.
(And perhaps do not use it with passwords, until its fixed :-)
More info
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Security:Renegotiation
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=535649 "
So, consider this "pressure".  What is the danger of customers using adobe connectnow (for example) with this apparent browser vulnerability?  What, if anything, can be done to avoid any related security problems? What is Adobe doing to "remove the vulnerability"?
In another Adobe thread, I found a "conclusion" that this was due to a Firefox bug, but further info I found seems to indicate that users must also update their servers to eliminate the error messages.
In this regard, I found this information at: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=555952 :
"The issue is, the warnings in Firefox won't go away until you upgrade to
hardware/software that supports RFC 5746.
If you have disabled renegotiation on the server, the connection is safe, but
the browser doesn't know.
If you want the warnings to go away, please strive to upgrade your
hardware/software. Please push your vendor to provide equipment or updates that
supports RFC 5746."

You can't suppress that error message.
Future Firefox versions may even block access to websites that haven't updated their security.

  • Unable to reach Adobe servers, Please check firewall settings and try again

I have been a creative cloud customer since it started and I've never experienced such buggy software as the app manager. The customer experience is just shocking and I wish Adobe would just offer direct downloads for the software we need rather than use the app manager.
I'm currently trying to install the latest versions of the programs but the app manager keeps showing "Unable to reach Adobe servers, Please check firewall settings and try again in a few minutes".
I do not have any firewalls on my network.
I've uninstalled all previous versions of the applications.
The app manager will download a few % and then the message appears again. I click retry and it downloads another few % before showing the message again. I keep doing this until the program is fully downloaded and installed which take hours. Because I am able to eventually download the app, the error should be anything to do with my setup or internet connection as I've never had this issue before when installing adobe products.
Is there a way we can bypass the app manager and install the programs directly? This is getting very annoying and I just need my apps to install without wasting days clicking the retry button.

I'm having the exact same problem. Photoshop is stuck at 0%.
Have the links for direct download changed? When I went to  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.htmland then scrolled down the page to:
    Photoshop CC 2014 (64-bit)
    740 MB
    File 2
    801 MB
    File 1
and then clicked on File 1 and File 2, I reached a page that says "You don't have permission to access "http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/15/win64/Photoshop_15_LS20_win64.7z?" on this server."

  • Adobe Connection Manager unable to connect to Adobe Servers

    Hello,
I have found many threads for that topic, but non helped me solve my issue.
I haven't been using my application in quite a few months. A few weeks ago I started again and always get the message that my membership could not be verified because it cannot connect to the Adobe Servers. I started the Application Manager and get the same message there.
I tried everything in this document: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html and all steps are successful
I tried to connect my laptop directly with the LAN cable to the modem, still no success
    I don't use any Proxies.
I disabled my firewall and Antivirus, Spyware, etc. applications, still it says it cannot connect.
I tried to download the Desktop Application, but also get the message it cannot connect to the servers.
I really do not know what to check anymore. I have no problems with secure sites or anything else I am using.
Any suggestions what else could be the problem?
Side note: It says to set the clock correctly. What time yone does it check against? My Windows is German, he CC is German, I am in Germany and use the correct timezone. I often use the US formatting of numbers and date formats, because I need it hat way for work. I tried it with both US and German settings, though. Makes no difference.
    Thank you!

If you are a home user then enable the Hidden admin, restart and try to update/activate. Check here for instructions on enable/disable Hidden admin : http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista/
If connected to corporate network then contact your IT department to see if Firewall or Proxy server is blocking the activation.

  • Unable to reach adobe servers, past 3 days Feb 20, 2015

for the past 3 days I've been getting a message when I trey to use the Adobe Application Manager after purchasing Adobe Creative Cloud service. I've tried two different computers, a Mac and a PC. Im also unable to get to the adobeid.services.adobe.com to reset my password (server not found), I have rebooted, shut down, shut down my firewall, check my hosts table for redirects. I can get to adobe.com because I'm posting here right now.
I contacted Adobe and chatted with an associate who was unhelpful, but I was told my request would be "Elevated to the relevant team", who have not made any attempt to contact me at this time.

    Please refer to:

  • Why can't I connect to the Adobe servers to DL CC?

I have a new Windows 7 machine and I just signed up for Adobe CC. First I was having issues installing any appls from the Creative Cloud app.. each time I try to install a program it fails and says it cannot connect to the servers. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app, and I keep getting errors during my attempts to download that. Is there any way around this? Are Adobe servers hammered right now or is it just me? Any way I can resolve this fast would be great - I'm a working artist and digital art apps are how I keep going!

Please read, and reply back here with information https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1499014
-and try some steps such as changing browsers and turning off your firewall for downloads

  • A fix for Mac users encountering "unable to reach Adobe servers" error

Seemingly out of nowhere - i.e., not coinciding with any Mac OS, or app updates - I started getting the "unable to reach Adobe servers" error from the Creative Cloud desktop app.  Signing into the Adobe website was impossible, too.  When I say impossible, I mean it literally - the login window would not display, in Safari or Chrome.
I'm sure this is posted somewhere here, but just in case, here's the solution that worked for me (posted by phatfish81 on Feb 7, 2015 4:35 PM):

  • Adobe Download Manager unable to reach Adobe servers

I am getting the "Unable to reach Adobe servers" error all the time.
    I've tried
    deleting the opm.db file;
deleting the PDApp log file; and
    entering my adobe login details.
turning off my avast firewall (there's none on my modem)
But the error doesn't go away and I can't upgrade to LR 5, etc.
Has anyone managed to fix this error?
    Thanks,
    Ganga.
    PS:
    a) I am not happy that I have to use the forums to get support on a product that I'm payingf for.
    b) Why can't Adobe offer 24/7 support? I am in Australia and should not be made to wait for US business hours.
    c) I wonder if Adobe will reimburse for the days they couldn't supply the product I've subscribed to.

Yes Jihoon1109 the managed network is likely causing your network difficulties.  This is especially true once the steps listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html have been completed.
I would recommend contacting your I.T. department and having them review the Adobe Creative Cloud Service Access Documentation for IT section of http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html.
