Power Connectors for Nokia Phone Chargers

I am looking for a reference or list of the type of connectors used in the various chargers associated with Nokia cellular phones.
Where can I find such a detailed list or a reference to someone who can provide me with this information?

Hope you don't mind, but I am "joining in the hunt" for a Cell Phone Battery Connector with spring contacts, battery terminals or "pogo pins".
I have a NOKIA BL-6C battery (3.7V) that I am going to try and use for a new product design and I need to find the 3 pronged connector to mount onto my circuit board. This is just a totally different consumer electronic device, but I want to use the BL-6C rechargable battery because it is cheap and available in qty.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what specific electrical connector is used to pair with the NOKIA BL-6C rechargable battery??! I want to purchase and stary building my prototypes.

If your PC application is in java and suitable for the limitations of CLDC / MIDP, I really don't see any barrier -- of course, you may have to sacrifice much of the layout and possibly some of the functionality. Hard to say without knowing exactly what you have in mind.
Simple core java classes require no conversion and can be adopted into your mobile app. MIDlet is the basic application class, roughly (only roughly) corresponding to Applet for larger platforms.
So... I'm assuming that you're already reasonably famililar with the java language and syntax, and have a worked with a code editor and / or IDE. If that is the case, I would suggest you download and install NetBeans (if you don't already have it) and work through some of the mobility tutorials.

The javadocs for jsr-118 (included with NB) will also help. More complete docs and code samples are available in plenty, google java j2me CLDC MIDP sample codes.
For Nokia-specific features, you may want to download the Nokia SDK and integrate it into NetBeans. Series 60 SDK 2.0 for Symbian OS is available at

But I strongly recommend that you focus on device-independent applications, and use device-specific features only where absolutely necessary.
Hey - I'd never used java before (I do have experience in various other programming languages) and I had a centimetre-inch convertor up and running on my Motorola handset just 2 days after installing NetBeans.
You know java, you may do better :-)

Note: Download WTK 2.5 separately and integrate into NetBeans, the WTK 2.2 which comes bundled with NB has a few bugs :-(

J2me Gaming : Problem with Creating build(jar) for nokia phones

I am having trouble in making a package (jar) for nokia phones. I have been tring using J2ME wireless kit, Eclipse, Nokia development Suite and IBM Device developer but havent been able to make a perfect package out of it.
I have even downloaded the plugins for Eclips but not able to configure it properly. I did every thing according to the specifications. but while building project i get the error "Problem while running the build script ....." .
Overall i want create a jar package and obufuscate that for Nokia phones.Its real urgent. Wud want someone to guide me on all the necessary.

USB Connector for Nokia 2730

Does Nokia not provide the Micro USB cable for Nokia 2730 model? If so do we need to purchase a Micro USB cable from outside?
Also Is it possible to copy the contacts present in the phone to the Memory card?

Unless there's an app, it won't communicate. The iPad has no file manager which is what a normal computer uses to communicate with other devices.
The USB will only work with downloading properly named photos and videos. It doesnt' work on anything else. (there are some older pages out there detailing how people used to be able to plug in keyboards and mice and headphones, but a 2011 software update reduced the amount of power allocated to the port, rendering most if not all of those unworkable)

Can I get an additional power connector for a HD inside my MacPro?

I have a Apricorn Velocity Solo x2 with 512 GB SATA III SSD and the card has an additional SATA port for my additional 2TB HD SATA III that I would like to make into a Fusion Like Drive. Not true. There are SATA connectors that carry both data and power. There are motherboards that use separate power and data cables for SATA drives. Your question stated:

This clearly is a request for someone here to see if there is a cable we could sell to you. That would imply you are asking Apple the question. It's not my fault that you were not clear in what you asked.
Nevertheless, my response is just as applicable to one form of cable as to another. If you have no available power connection in the computer, then you need to split one that you are currently using. This could either be the SATA power connector or it could be a Molex power connector as used on older SCSI or ATA drives.

EXTERNAL RAM FOR NOKIA PHONES

Nokia, won't it be better to make phones with the option of an external RAM just like you have it in computers and also like space for memory card, instead of making phones that are low in memory like C5-03 and co. You should consider this feature in your subsequent phones for better performance of phones that are low in memory.

PC-type (even those for laptops) DRAM memory modules are huge (when contrasted to what the regular components of a phone are), and requires additional space and components, making the phones bigger, adding to the cost of the device, increasing failure rate, complicating testing, etc.
I don't see this happening for mobile phones by Nokia or anyone any time soon.

Temporary signature for Nokia phones?

I am looking for a way of signing a midlet with a temporary signature for development purposes for a Nokia phone.
I know that in the Motorola iden SDK there is a function which signs the midlet with a signature that lasts 48 hours and works even on the actual device.
does anyone know if there something similar for Nokia?

thats a very cool link, however I don't think my phone allows loading new certificates.

Z87 XPower -- What's the third 6-pin power connector for?

I'm a happy new owner of a Z87 XPower, currently getting it installed and I'm seeing a six-pin power connector between the CPU and PCI-E slots (this is in addition to the two 8-power traditional motherboard power connectors). I'm assuming it's a PCI-E power connector but can't find any documentation about whether it's required or optional or under what circumstances I would use it. Is there any documentation out there about this power connector? It's in a bit of a problematic area as far as cable routing goes, it's next to the rear end of the expansion slots which is as far away from cable management routes as you can get and requires routing a connection over at least third of the motherboard no matter how you run it.

that 6 pin is only needed if your running 2 or more graphics cards to supply extra power to the PCI-E lanes as its draw will exceed the limits that they have causing instability!
it is an optional connector and if you only have 1 graphics card its not needed at all (I usually connect it anyway if I plan on going SLI or crossfire in he future!)

I am from Bangladesh.
When I select auto update for time and date, I can see that my phone timing is updated with DST. Bangladesh had DST for only one year (last year) on a test basis and then the government decided not to continue with it. The battery auxiliary battery of my Nokia 5233 seems to be week and the clock slows down substantially over time. So, I need to the auto update. Hence it is big inconvenience for us to have DST time on the phone.
Hope Nokia will look into it.
