Please help me using my brothers Power Mac G4
I think I have to reset username and password, but I do not know my brothers sername/password, he has died and not written down something to find it out!

Your post title says you "reset" your MacBook. What do you mean by this?
Reinstalled the operating system?
Reset the Admin Password?
Reset the PRAM, The SMC?
What version/generation MacBook Air do you have, and what OS version?
If you want to reset the password on Lion, here is the method.
You use the following technique to reset the Administrators password:
Boot to your Lion Recovery Partition, by holding down the Option key while starting, and then selecting the Recovery HD as the boot choice.
Once booted, at the top of the screen is a menu ..., select Utilities / Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A “Reset Password” window will open. Select your boot volume (your SSD drive) if it is not already selected. Select your administrators username from the menu labeled “Select the user account” if it is not already selected. Follow the prompts to reset the password. Restart the computer from the apple menu.

Firefox deleted all of my saved usernames and passwords for the sites i allowed them, For instance I can no longer click gmail and be at my e-mail and see my email, but i am promoted for password and username.

Did you have them after updating Firefox, or did you lose your passwords as well. If you lost everything you either created a new profile and are in it, or you accidentally/intentionally cleared your history (see picture link). If you cleared your history, the changes are permanent and they are gone.
If you cleared your history, except for bookmarks in backups, you will have to try for
#Data in an older profile, for most people this would only be if one accidentally created a new profile, such as during a Firefox installation.

If you don't know your ID, you can try to find it as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625. Then you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617. Of course, you can only do this if it's your ID.

first of all i would like to thank you for your response .. and you are correct about the wizard for the first time setup but the weird thing when try to login it require to put a password\username for GUI and for the cli even if it is a new router and never configured .. and am really confused about this .. even i dont remember the default username

MobileMe in system preferences and Airport extreme don't recognize my password. The password and username are correct. I don't have any problem using ICloud and my Apple ID and account

When I try to connect to MobileMe in system preferences, it keeps saying that my password or username is incorrect. The same problem occurs on idisk.mac.com and when I try to connect to the hard disk connected to my AirPort Extreme. I don't have any problem to access my Apple ID account or ICloud. My password and username are corrected (I have one principal e-mail and two alternatives e-mails in my Apple ID). I don't how to solve it. The biggest problem is that I can't connect to the hard disk on the AirPort Extreme USB entrance and share files and backup.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

POP password and username issues

I've had an inconsistent issue with email.
Every once and a while I get a message, while trying to connect and get email, saying that the pop password and username are incorrect. Which they are not. And then my mail will either download right after that, or download a while later.
Has anyone experienced this?

Does this only happen when using Edge to download
mail? Or does it happen with both Edge and WiFi?
If only Edge, I would venture a guess that maybe the
edge network is cutting out and your
username/password gets a bit scrambled. Then later
the Edge network connection is fine and it can get
the mail.
sound like a reasonable explanation. (sort of, drag about getting things all scrambly)
It only happens when I'm using Edge.

How do I stop CR XI prompting for password and username only when using dynamic parameters. When no dynamic parameters are used CR XI isn't prompting for the DB user name and password. The report is run from an application which passes the user name and password. I am using Oracle and the problem is both with the native oracle driver and the ODBC RDO driver.

I didnt ask you to change it to static I said I took the parameters totally out of the report. Saved it. Then re-enter the dynamic parameters into the report and it worked for me. That might have worked for you, not sure why you changed it to static.
Ok I have just created a quick report using dynamic parameters, it didnt ask me for the username password.
Can you create a sample report - just to test the db? and see if it works? add only 1 or 2 fields in the report, create parameters (dynamic) and see if it works
why don't you embed the username and password in your application, it won't ask for username password then.

Ipad 3 Keeps Losing Passwords and Usernames

My trusty iPad 3 keeps losing website usernames and passwords. This has been happening recently and I have not changed any of the settings. I upgraded to IOS 8.1.2 hoping that would solve the problem without any change. When I put the iPad to sleep by closing the smart case cover the passwords and usernames of websites disappear even if I have checked the box on the site to remember them. Does anyone have a solution?

But I dont remember ever using a password or username to set PC Suite up. Do I just ignore this? If not, I need to know the password and username Iused to set up the program. If you have a Nokia account, you can use the user name and the password of that account to sign in to PC Suite if it's asking you to do so.

If all you did was rename your ID, you can go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with your renamed ID. Deleting the account only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.
If, however, you are changing to a new account with a new ID, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then choose Merge when you sign into the new account and turn your iCloud syncing back on to upload your data to the new account.
Before deleting the account, save you photo stream photos to your camera roll (tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

Check that the email address is correct for your login. You'd be surprised how many times I've seen people see the prompt and just go with a password and not realize that the email address was wrong.
Aside from that, you can try resetting your password via the iForgot app.
If you forgot your password, you can easily recover or reset it using iForgot. For security reasons, Apple cannot reset your password for you. To protect yourself against unauthorized purchases to your credit card, do not give out your password to anyone.
NOTE: If you attempt to sign in to the Apple Online Store numerous times with the wrong password, you will see the following error message: “This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons." To reset your account, use iForgot.
