Power outage - HDD Problem - How to reinstall without disc drive?

Hi there,
due to a power outage the journalling of the hdd of the mac mini server running Snow Leopard Server is corrupt and repairing was impossible. I've got to reinstall the system now somehow, but the mac mini doesn't come with a disc drive. I tried to create a bootable USB stick but that didn't work for the server version of Snow Leopard. I really need help with this ... Any ideas?

Thanks iToaster, I already did that to access the data on the hard drive, but I can't install Snow Leopard Server via Target Disk Mode, can I? If yes, how?

If you mean you dragged the hard drive shortcut out of the sidebar of a Finder window, you're quite all right - that's just a shortcut and you haven't lost any files. You can get it back by going to Finder preferences (the Finder menu, then Preferences), click Sidebar, and tick the "hard drives" box fully to show all hard drives.
Post back if you did something different though.

Mac Mini wont start after power outage, and problem copying iPhoto library. HELP!

    So, recently there was a power outage in my neighborhood, the power was intermitent for about 2 hours, during this time my mac rebooted itself several times, but on the second time it rebooted the power went out during boot, then the power finally went out for good, it was back in about 3 hours, but when i finnaly turned on my mac it got stuck at the Apple logo with a spinning wheel and a progress bar that wouldnt go past 40%, when i boot holding command -v it said that there were a lot of errors which were automatically fixed, except for one, "Incorrect Thread records" or something like that.
    I have another partition with Mountain Lion installed for emergencies, the other one with Lion became inaccessible to mountain lion or any other OS X version, but oddly enough, I can access my Lion partition via HFSexplorer and see all my files untouched.
    My main concern are my pictures in iPhoto, and thats about 36Gb of data, I want to backup them to my windows pc by copying the whole iPhoto library package, but HFSexplores for some reason cant copy the folders with date (XX/XX/XXXX) with the /, and it keeps changing them to XX_XX_XXXX and I know that would pretty much break my iPhoto library!
I googled my drive problem and people said that I need a Disk Utility called DiskWarrior, but I cant seem to find how to to use it, I got a copy from a friend, it was the digital version of the boot disk which need to be burned to a dvd.
Any help would be appreciated, and sorry for the bad english

OK, we need more info about your Mac. Do you know how much RAM it has in it?
If you don't know the model, find the Serial# & use it on one of these sites, but don't post the Serial# here...

Cannot get license key without disc drive

I have bought lightroom 5 for my daughter (student edition) on CD from Digitec Switzerland and would like to install, but I forgot that we have no more disc drives in our Macs. But to get the license key I have to fill in the product code [removed by moderator]. How can I proceed? Thank you.

I am working on a Mac book Pro and I have been getting a message that my disc drive is full. How do I clear some space? I'm running OS X v 10.9.5

Power outage caused problems

I have an eMac with a partitioned external hard drive.Music,pictures,movies,and backup.The power went out last night ,the eMac was asleep.I started up the computer this mourning,all of the partitions showed up except the music.I went to the Disc utilities,all parts were there,but the music text was gray not black.How do I get this to mount back up?Also,my iPhoto library is in the pictures part.I have a screen saver album there.My screen saver is not working from this album anymore.I tried to reset it,but the albums don't show up in the finder to select it.Help me please!!

Problem trying to reinstall Audigy 2 driver.Error mess

?I have an Audigy installed on my Gateway and it was playing fine. Then the sound disappeared from one application but still played music and web casts. I thought I could try reinstalling the driver from the Drivers disc. I also tried downloading from this site. all have the same problem. It seems to be downloading OK but at the last second I get this error message. The error mesasage appears just as the installer finishes, it reads,?'You have previously installed drivers without rebooting. Please reboot and try again'. Now, this is after I just rebooted of course. I shut down my Norton anti virus and Zone Alarm pro. It seems something is interfering so I shut down as many programs as I could find running. How to reinstall content of drive backed up before internal drive failed

Hello:
The internal drive on my Macbook decided to call it quits on me.
Fortunately a very groovy utitlity application called Disk Warrior saved my bacon by making clean copies of the files (fixed directories, etc.) and then allowing me to copy everything (applications, files, video, etc) to an external drive.
Phew.
I have now purchased a new internal drive (a 500GB 7200 Hitachi Travelstar) which I am about to install in the computer.
So my question is (finally) how do I reinstall everything from the external drive so that everything is in its proper place again?
What goes where?
In the ideal world I would have used Time Machine to back every thing up - but my internal drive was already half dead and the only way I could retrieve the files was with Disk Warrior (using Disk Warrior to boot).
Any insight would be welcome.

Thanks for your reply, Eric.
So to clarify - I would drag the rebuilt files from the external drive onto the desktop of the computer (with new internal drive and reinstalled Mac OSX). Then instead of trying to figure out where everything was/or should be - I would instead use Time Machine to back everything up (again) and then when I reinstall it this time using the Time Machine restore/reinstall tools, Time machine will put everything in its proper place.
Is that the best way to go or am I missing something?

WRT120N router reinstall without disc

I am having major problems with my router. My sister was here visiting and I connected her computer to my wireless service and it took over my wireless connection and now its only showing her information, not mine. I tried to reset router by doing the 30-30-30 and now I have to reinstall but I dont have disc. Does anyone have a clue ? Im not a computer whiz at all! Thanks

If your router has gone into maintenance mode after the 30-30-30 hard reset it should ask to upload a firmware. You can get the firmware in the download section at the below link:
