Power point portable presentation

We have to edit ppt presentations on MAC with movies, then we havo to copy and play them on ppt for Windows.
In powerpoint for Windows there is the possibility to package in a single file a presentation that contains movies and copy (or burn on cd) the single file.
On MAC, can we find this portable presentation modality?
Otherwise we have to copy all movies and re-link them in ppt after the copy to Windows.
Thanks
Matteo

1. Open the presentation you want to save as a
PowerPoint Package.
2. On the File menu, click Save As.
3. On the Format pop-up menu, click PowerPoint
Package.
4. In the Save As box, type a name for the new folder
you want to store the presentation and linked files
in.
5. Click Save.
Thanks!
Are these packaged presentations compatible with Windows PowerPoint?
We need to copy them from MAC to PC

  • How to export keynote to power point when sharing with other people

I had to manipulate a master's of someone else on keynote, record my slides and then post it to a discussion board, it kept removing my recording when I exported it to power point for presentation.  I could not do it and I tried everything renaming it with no characters.  Help!!!

PowerPoint does not support recorded presentations when exporting the recording is removed.
You will need to use a Keynote presentation without the recorded timings or usePowerPoint, Open Office or Libra Office to author a presentation with individual timings on each slide.

  • Was working on building Power Point using photos from IPhoto

Also using Aperture to pull photos for presentation.  Suddenly in Aperture, I lost my two most recently imported files and can't relocate.  Please advise if you've had the problem.  I've also discovered thatnow  I'm not able to export ANY photos out of Aperture, but get the pop-up that says "Versions with Unavailable Masters Can't be Exported.  Try Again".  It makes no difference dates of projects/album.  Pop-up occurs regardless.  I'm absolutely frozen in Aperture and have lost the two most recent files.  Please help, I've still got things to place in Power Point Slide Presentation.  Thanks.  BigDJimbo

Leonie; regarding the exporting, I'm confidant that I hit the right button to get from either Iphoto or Aperture 3 to my desktop in order to insert into the Power Point.
As far as relationship between IPhoto & Aperture, I merely had both on the laptop with the IPhoto storing the majority of my photos up until I made the commitment recently to use Aperture 3 exclusively so my more recent new photos were downloaded from my Nikon directly into Aperture before doing post production and then were stored in project files to access as needed at a later date.
On this particular project, I went straight to IPhoto when there was a file I needed, hit export and put them into Desktop where I would retrieve them as needed for insert into the Power Point.  Likewise, photos that had been downloaded and postedAperture files were exported the same way.
One other thing that might shed some light on this entire mess is that on both of the lost projects, I had gone into them to extract select photos to share with family and friends after I'd done my post production work on them.  These photos were then exported to Desktop and were later inserted into e-mails for sharing.  The shared photos I've found in the Aperture Library, but the hundred or so other  "unprocessed" photos in the same Aperture 3 project are no where to be found.  Go figure.
Thanks again Leonie for your input in solving this mystery.

  • Exporting from Keynote to Power Point

I live in Kenya in East Africa and run photographic safaris. I use Canon digital equipment (still photography) and at the end of each safari set up a slide show of the better images taken on the safari and give it to the guests. I present my images using power point as this seems to be the most universal way to present slides.
I own a 17 inch Power Book G4 and also a 17 inch Mac Book Pro. I use Aperture on both Macs.
On my new Mac Book Pro I have problems. After editing in Aperture, I then export my versions ( in any format - Tiff, Jpeg ) to a file and then import them from that file to power point. Power point seems to remove all the punch of the images making them look very flat and hardly worth looking at. Why?
I have managed to by pass this problem on my Power book G4 by exporting images from Aperture as Tiffs, these seem to work quite well when they are imported into Power point, except the files are huge.
What this means is that I own a Mac Book Pro but don't use it as it can't do what is required. I hope I am doing something wrong or that there is an alternative method to presenting slides.
I have Keynote, which works well. Sadly most of our guests are PC users and so would like the slides in a PC format. Keynote allows you to convert to power point, but here again the picture once in power point looks flat, Why?
Is there a better method than Power point to present slides? In a presentation I like to have text, single and multiple images per slide.
I have used iDVD, but there are not enough pixels on a TV screen (when showing still images) to give you a punchy clear picture, or so I am told.
I would love any suggestions to help with this problem.

    Hi Ngiri
It's not really clear to me how you or your guests are assessing your "flat" photos - on a computer screen, via a video projector, on a TV?
Most of my photo slide shows are created using DVDStudioPro - look fantastic. Distributed as a PAL DVD "best viewed on a TV".
Lately I have tried some photo presentations using Keynote, and then exported to Powerpoint. Photos looked fine, but PP is unacceptable. I then tried exporting from PP straight to PDF. Using a PDF for a presentation was a revelation - photos look very good. The PDF is a small cross platform file. However, I still prefer DVDStudioPro, but it takes much longer to create a DVD.
Have you actually tried Keynote straight to iDVD? Or a slideshow created within iDVD? (Lots of tutorials available).
I have used iDVD, but there are not enough pixels on
a TV screen (when showing still images) to give you a
punchy clear picture, or so I am told.
???I don't understand why anyone would tell you this???
Of course, Aperture could be the problem...or your Mac Book Pro is incorrectly setup.

  • Converting mpeg-4 files to format that can be utilized by Power Point 2003

I have created my first Power Point 2003 Presentation, and am trying to add uninterruped music, a post copyright version of George Solti's Beethoven's 5th. When I imported the tracks from the CD, they are MPEG-4. Power Point 2003 can't read the file when I try to open it under "Movie and Sound>". I returned to iTunes and tried converting it to an AAC file, but the software doesn't recognize that file either. What file extension is recognized by Power Point 2003 and does iTunes have a conversion tool?

In summary, use either WAV, AIFF, or MP3 format when you import from the CD.

I have a working Power Point presentation with an imbedded video, whic means I can not use Power Point "Show". Can I display a Power Point presentation in full screen on an HP Pavilion g? If so, how do I do it?

    Hi,
    On any machine, please try:
Click the "Options" tab on the PowerPoint toolbar,
then select "Play Full Screen" from the "Movie Options" group.
The "Options" tab is located directly underneath the "Movie Tools" button.

There is no application called "Adobe" - you are either working with Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader. Open up the preferences for the application (Edit>Preferences), then go to the "General" category and modify the settings for "Scale for screen resolution". You will have to restart the application after you do that. Does that fix your problems?

  • How do i edit a flashdrive usb power point presentation with a pptx file

My son has brought home a flashdrive USB from school (where they use Macs) with a power point presentation that needs to be edited but I can only open it up as a read only file. It has the suffix of .pptx. Does anyone have any suggestions to gain access to edit it? Thank you
