My computer and monitor will not go into sleep mode enventhough I have the power options set to do so in 30 minutes

I understand that your computer is not going into sleep mode when it is supposed to, but before and you require assistance. I would be happy to assist you, but first I would encourage you to post your product number for your computer. I am linking an HP Support document below that will show you how to find your product number. As well, if you could indicate which operating system you are using. And whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit as with this and the product number I can provide you with accurate information.

If you have an iBook G4, (PPC) you can't do much.
But if that is a MacBook (intel) you may be able to
upgrade the OS X, if the hardware is up to it...
Since there were about nine different build models
of MacBook (not powerpc iBook) to identify what
one you have would be the first step to knowing
what OS X and RAM upgrades it could use.
If the computer is not already at OS X 10.6.8,
it can't go online to get or use OS X 10.7.5. So,
when you more accurately describe the 'Book,
detailed information is available.
When you find the serial number, there is a web
page that can be used to identify by serial no.

That'd be a first step. Or even the Model number
which should be visible on the outer case by hinge.

Re installing Photoshop CS4 on an upgraded computer and it will not accept the serial number. Unable to deactivate Photoshop before upgrading computer due to hardware failure. Note that Adobe Photoshop CS4 New Install Bundle package consists of the new Photoshop CS4 Upgrade bundled together with the qualifying product, in this case an Adobe Photoshop CS2 License. I have tried both the CS2 and CS4 Serial numbers and both have not worked.

Touchsmart 520-1047c Mouse and Keyboard will not work after sleep mode

I have an issue which I need some help with. When my computer goes to sleep the wireless mouse and keyboard will not work unless I restart, however each one will wake the system up but will not operate after that. I have tried just making the display go to sleep, both go to sleep but that makes no difference same issue occurs. The only work around I have found is going into the power settings and turning the sleep mode off for booth the computer and display. This does not solve the problem it just masks it. New batteries, unplugged and replugged the dongle, updated the bios and all drivers. Don't know what else to try. Anybody know how to fix this? Thank you in advance for your help.

Learn How to Post and More. I understand that the mouse and keyboard on your desktop computer does not work if your computer enters sleep mode, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter! To correct this issue, I recommend following the steps in this document on Troubleshooting sleep and hibernate issues (Windows 7). This should help enable your system to wake from sleep mode using your wireless keyboard and mouse. I also recommend connecting wired peripherals to diagnose the functionality of your keyboard and mouse. If your system is still not able to wake from sleep mode, please follow the steps below to restore the default power schemes on your computer: Step 1. Click the Start button

Monitor will not awaken from sleep

PowerMac G4 Dual 1GHz Quicksilver. OS 10.5.2, Apple Cinema Display. After sleeping, monitor will not awaken. Display is visible when screen sharing from another computer. Requires restart.
Recent changes:
Started using Time Machine on an existing internal drive.
Installed a Time Capsule Airport Base Station in the house.
Started using the built in Screen Sharing software.
Upgraded to 10.5.2.

If you decide to Restore you iPhone, then restart your computer, open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable. I have had iTunes on my computer, which is not an apple poducts for about 6 or 7yrs now, just recently it will not let me play the music I have downloaded. I get a error message stating this computer is not registered. So I put in the information to register it, and it tells me that this computer is already registered. But I still can't play my music, the error message just keeps popping up. Can anyone help me?

Check the information on the song, Right-Click -> Get Info.
In the fist pane, (Summary), you will see the AppleId (Account Name) that was used to buy the song.
Be sure to login to use this account to register this computer to play the song
What I often see, Is that people have many different AppleID, sometime not even knowing it, which is a big problem.

I downloaded and audio book from itunes on my computer and it will not play

I downloaded Mansfield Park audio edition from itune to my laptop. I download went well but it will not play on my laptop. I have even tried deleteing book and re-downloading but same thing happens.

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

If you are unable to deactivate the earlier installation, you wil need to phone customer support and ask them to reset your activations.

HT1391 Music that is on my computer and iPhone will not play using any media player

Media (songs) that are listed in iTunes and on the iPhone will not play. The cursor skips over them. Using Explorer I can see them on the disc, but clicking them and trying to play them with Quicktime, Windows Media Player or iTunes does not work.
Does anybody know what I can do to fix this?
