  • Need power adapter specs for WRK54G

I was just given a model WRK54G wireless router that is missing the power adapter. Would someone who owns one of these provide me with the voltage and current output specs for the power adapter? I am guessing that it is 12 volts but would like to avoid doing a smoke test if this information is available. Thanks in advance.

  • Minimum specs for use as a media centre?

I would like to have a Mac Mini hooked up to my tv to use as a media centre. i have worked out that i will be able to use it without a keyboard mouse etc by setting it up so front row or vlc load up on boot and using the remote, so am ok there...
my question is this - what is the recomended spec for it to be able to play hd movie rips in .mkv/mp4 format? i have a 1.25ghgz emac an that suffers horribly so i want something that will do the job effortlessly. obviously i could just buy the very latest MM but am looking to save a bit of cash if possible!
    thanks for any advice...

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
It might help to know in what way the 1.25 eMac suffers horribly in this situation, because in reality, the media centre functions of a system don't require particularly high performance or system specifications. For example, I have a 1.5 G4 mini hooked up to a TV, use Front Row to play mp4 movie files and either VLC or DVD player to play DVDs and it performs pretty well. The quality of image of the mp4 playback depends on settings when the files were ripped more than anything, and the overall quality of image depends a lot on the TV rather than the system.
It must be said that the almost any of the Intel minis is considerably more powerful than your eMac, but in itself, power isn't necessarily the answer!

  • Lost the power cord for time capsule!

So I've lost the power cord for my time capsule. I went to an Apple store and they don't sell them but the employee said that it is a standard cord and I should be able to pick one up at a Radio Shack or the like? Has anybody else had to do this? I can't find the specs on the time capsule either of exactly what type of cord is needed.

who ever told you that has Model: 61-2876 | Catalog #: 61-2876 cord in mind. I'm not sure if it will work...it looks close....are you saying you were told you can't order a replacement cord from Apple?

  • Need specs for PC to drive 30-inch monitor to full resolution.

Have acquired an HP LP3065 monitor. Now seek to acquire a PC to drive it to full 2560x1600 res. Old Dell Pentium D computer (XP) with integrated video brings it to 1900. Any power supply, memory,  MB recommendations would be helpful. Standing by is a Nvidia 8800 GTS video card from BFG Tech that a gamer friend pulled from his system.

    Hi shrdlu,
To get that resolution it all depends on the specs of your video card. And if you install a new video card with that resolution capability, you'd want to check the specs of the video card to see how much power is required. If the PC you are using doesn't have a strong enough power supply, you'd need to get one that has more power. I'm not familiar with Dell products so I don't know about your power options. Here are the specs for the video card:

  • Power adapter for EA3500

I lost my power cord for my router and I have been trying to get a replacement but I want something that I am certain will work. I know it's something along the lines of a 12V 2A but I don't have the mm sizes for the part that plugs in.

Hello graved8eagle. Try to double-check the router's power rating before you buy a same spec power adapter. Better yet, bring the router with you when buying an adapter. That way, you can be sure the adapter works with the router.

  • Max RF Power Spec

I am looking for the Maximum Power Settings Spec for the 3600 AP.  The one from 2008 is too old. Does an update exist?
The AP Spec itself does not show power levels by channel and regulatory domain which is what I need.
If I can't get the spec, I will have to query the AP using "show ap config 802.11x apname" for each config I need.
    Thanks.

i also have a BEFSR81 v3 - with no powersupply. can anyone linkme to a GOOD seller on ebay or amazon for one please?

This are the specs for the power adapter for this devices. You will find this power adapter on any of the stores, or else you get a Universal Power Adapter which is compatible with all the Router and the Electronic Device. Just you need to adjust the power as per your Routers power specs.

  • Headphone out, power specs?

Does anybody know if Creative has published specs (say, in a product data sheet) for my USB X-Fi Surround 5.
I would like to know what the maximum power, voltage, and/or current out of the headphone out jack are. At what values do you start getting distortions in the signal
Currently I am considering a headphone purchase, and I would prefer not to need an additional amplifier to dri've the headphones. The output capabilities of the sound card of course limit which models I can consider. My current canalphones, which are slightly falling apart on me, are nominally 6 ohms impedance and 2 dB/mW SPL, so of course the X-Fi Surround is powerful enough to dri've those. Consequently, they aren't exactly the best reference point to go by.
Failing having any technical data, can anybody else share experiences with headphones using the X-Fi Surround What is your volume set to If you just tell me the model number of your headphones, I can look up the stats.
