Power/Standby Button has mind of it's own.

Tonight, after my iPhone working (almost) properly in the past, I checked it today and I was unable to turn it on by pressing the lock button. I then pressed the home button, unlocked it and when I tried to lock it, it would not respond to me pushing the button.
Also - it is continuously trying to power down, I've tried hitting cancle and powering it down, niether seem to give me control again. When I do power down, it turns itself back on.
I have had my phone for about two-three months and I have not abused it that much at all, I noticed about third week of having it that, at times, the only way it would turn on is if it was on the charger. This happened twice, once turning it on via the charger, it was fine the rest of the week.
This glitch seems to have worn off.
I was wondering, what is going on and what can I do?

Difficulty Cropping - crop window has mind of it's own

When I crop photos (Edit - Crop), the crop window has a mind of it's own. I select crop, click and drag a corner or edge, and then another, and the window moves and resizes to something else. It takes a number of tries moving the window or edges back and forth until I can get the crop that I want. Note: I do not have the restrict aspect selected. It's very anoying. What to do? Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7 or later: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

H520 PC has mind of it's own .....

I have had a Lenovo H520 PC since August 2013. After a week or so the PC, having been closed down properly, would spontaneously start after a few minutes and occasionally after being 'off' for 30 minutes or so. I contacted Lenovo who advised me to reset the PC. This did not solve the problem. After a short time I contacted Lenovo support who agreed that there was a fault and arranged to have the PC uplifted for repair or replacement under warranty. It was uplifted and sent to Germany and after 2 weeks it was returned with a report saying that it had been repaired. -

After a couple of days the PC started to display the same fault and does so intermittently. Lenovo claim to have repaired the fault but there is no evidence of this. Is this something I have to put up with indefinitely? Am I over-reacting to what some may consider a minor fault?. Contrary to what Lenovo say, the PC is not functioning perfectly.

On my PC, it was Microsoft scheduled tasks waking the computer. I examined the scheduled task list and disabled any (about 50 to 100) that were on a time schedule. That fixed the problem for me.

This router has mind of it's own "linksys-n" unsecure keeps popping up with wireless disabled

I bought this router WRVS4400Nv2 recently and I have been behaving strange since then and here are a few instances
1. Factory reset - Login to admin gui and it times out every few mins ( Which is normal ) but after a while it just gives up the time out feature. I can login to the console on a dozen computers and leave it on forever and it would never timeout
2. Refuses any firmware upgrade not matter what I get from Cisco tech support even after a complete factory reset
3. Even with wireless completely disabled!! linksys-n pop's up every now and then with no security setting. Anybody can get in and snoop on your network.
4. I can go more and more but I will stop here
I know there are some back doors into this router which I tried after having this problem and I was shocked to see a product from cisco to a small business having such back door's hidden.
It's a shame that this product should ever be released in to this market with so many holes.
I spent hours with tech support and their answer was "Just return it or we can do a RMA".
Watch out before you buy this product. You will be naked in the network world with this product.
If anybody has a very good explanation to this, I would like to hear it from cisco

You may require to capture some packets to see where the issues is, its going to be difficult to troubleshoot this issue over the this forum

Sleep/lock button has broke, will Apple fix this?

So my lock/power/sleep button has decided to break. I cannot get it to work no matter how hard I press on the button.
It has NOT been dropped, exposed to water or humdity of any kind.
My question is, will Apple fix this for me or replace my iPhone 4? I have scheduled an appointment at the closest store for Monday as it was the earliest I could be seen and I am still under warranty.

My guess would also be a failling connection between your logicboard and your GPU. See 2011 MacBook Pro and Discrete Graphics Card
For most users it starts with some random crashes and freezes like you describe it. And then it just gets worse and worse. There are still no "good" solutions, sadly. This is a hardware problem from the production.

No such app exisits or can exist. Apple doesn't allow 3rd party apps to access core functions of the phone. Time to get your phone replaced or repaired if assistive touch doesn't needs your needs.

If the battery was completely dead it may take some time to get it going.
Leave it pluggen into a wall jack for about 15 minutes then check back.
If not, you will need to make a Genius Bar appointment or contact Apple for a repair.

Did the trick! Not sure what I did to cause the screen to go numb, but this worked perfectly!!! I cleaned the screen and must have inadvertently selected something that locked the screen. This perfect solution kept me from having to run to the Apple Store. Many thanks.

When you plug it in to iTunes does it show up under devices? Try restoring it. That's the best thing you can do if you're out of warrenty

I don't know if they are related or not, but I'd take it in to an Apple store. They might be gracious and offer to replace it, or at the least, it may be eligible for an out-of-warranty replacement at a reduced fee (currently $149.00 for the iPhone 4, 3Gs, 3G, and original - you get a refurb as replacement).
