Power View Enhancement Request - Allow for columns to drop off PowerView when column name changes in data model instead of rendering the PowerView inaccessible

Currently in PowerView, if a column name changes in the tabular model, and that column is being used in a PowerView chart, the PowerView will become inaccessible.
It would be nice if it functioned similar to Pivot Table. If a column name changes for a column that is being used in a Pivot Table, the field is just removed from the chart, and the user can select the newly named column.

the connection.” when we reopen the file.
To fix this issue, we can click Refresh button under POWER VIEW menu, then it would prompt us that” Power View was not able to complete the action due to a query failure. This can happen if the structure of your data has changed, in which case closing and
re-opening the application will resolve the problem.”
According to the error message, we should try to reopen the file to fix this issue. Power view will render the message that” Please refresh to see the data for this Power View Sheet. You can set properties in the Connection Properties dialog so that the
data refreshes automatically when you open the file.” when we reopen the file. Then we can refresh it again, the report will be displayed without that field.
Based on my research, inherently what the message means is that Power View cannot be used as a tool for snapshot reporting. With an Excel PivotTable, we can see the data last saved in the PivotTable. Power View, however, does not behave the same way – it
won’t render the last saved state. If we want to avoid this message when we reopen the file, there are two methods:
When we create the Power View report, we can select the checkbox that “Refresh data when opening the file”.
After it’s been set up, go to Connections on the Data menu, then choose Properties.

Power View is an interactive data exploration, visualization, and presentation experience that encourages intuitive ad-hoc reporting. We can easily create a report by selected expected fields, however, there is no feature for us to customize font color or

I set cookie permissions for a domain to "Allow for session" and at a later time it has changed to "Allow first party only" and now allows persistent cookies.

As it says above, I have cookies set to always ask. I go to a domain (i.e. google) and it asks and I allow for session only. Some time later it will change to "first party only" and start to allow persistent cookies for the domain.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], choose History, and then Clear Recent History....
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

The situation now is that the email verification screen for iMessages is not letting me access my regular msgs. Imessage has blocked my regular messages. I can only see msgs in notifications. Even in contacts the option for message contact has vanished. The phone is just stuck on the verify email screen and my mail is already verified by appleid. iv tried multiple working iTunes accounts but still no go.

Reset the phone (no data loss): press both the home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears.

Minor enhancement request:
Add a link directly to the Javascript section of the Page attributes, similar to HTML Header, Template etc.
This would also have the benefit of being able to determine if functions were declared in this section w/out having to drill into the page.

DV6500 - Fail to power on - LEDs light up for 1s then turns off

System Specs:
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58 2GB DDR2 160GB SATA 15.4" LCD
All of a sudden this PC shut off and would not boot up.
Now, when you hit the power button, the LEDs at the top of the keyboard as well as above the touchpad light up for maybe 1 second then instantly shut off. In addition, the CPU fan begins to spin then shuts off when the system powers off.
I've tried with/without battery and while/while not plugged into the AC power adapter. I've tried other working batteries with other working power adapters.
I've tried other, working memory modules. I've reseated the CPU as well as the CPU fan cable. I've completely dissassembled and reassembled the machine hoping there was a loose connection somewhere to no avail.
I'm at the crossroad of deciding to order a replacement CPU or a replacement motherboard (449903-001) in attempt to resolve this problem.
Do you guys have any suggestions as to what this may be? I'm thinking CPU as if it was the system board, I should technically get 5 blinking LEDs per http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSe...
Then again per the same document, if it was a CPU issue I'd see a single blinking light. Which is not what I'm seeing. I show only the LEDs/CPU fan turn on for <1s then shut down. When I hit the power button again, same thing.
This seems like a somawhat common problem yet no one has posted their 'solution' to this issue.
What do you guys suggest?

If I have PowerPivot Connection with 8 tables in the data model, can I extract the Command Text for each with VBA?

I have a data model with a single PowerPivot connection to an Oracle database. This model had eight tables in it which all use the same "Existing Connection". I can get the Query from the first Table connection using Command Text, however,
I do not know how to get the CommandText of each of the additional tables associated with the same connection.

As APEX market penetration grows and it matures as a web development environment, we will start to see APEX applications integrate one (or more) of the fantastic Javascript toolkits out there to build rich client-side functionality.
To avoid collisions and in accordance with Javascript best practices, may I suggest that all APEX Javascript functions be encapsulated in a global APEX (or OAE or whatever) namespace/Javascript object. All APEX Javascript objects, methods, functions, variables, etc should be included in this namespace. We can always create local instances of commonly used functions/objects to maintain backward compatibility.

I'm seeing the same problem; it will let me view Java code, and edit it in the editor, but there's no way of saving it back to the database, or compiling (or debugging or etc...)
Also, if I try and run java in via the sql window I get:
Error starting at line 1 in command:
CREATE OR REPLACE AND RESOLVE JAVA SOURCE NAMED "whatever" AS
Error report:
Non supported SQL92 token at position: 227:
Don't really know what that error message is for; is that column or row? I can't see either displayed for the sql window anyway. No clue what token it's talking about either - would be useful for it to give a better error message than that.

Enhancement Request: Actions for JAVA Sources (compile to CLASS)

Hi All,
I would like to change my JAVA Source in the DATABASE and compile it again. At the moment I can see only the code but have no actions to compile and generate it to classes. Is this planned for a future release? AS a LAYOUT idea ... if classes can not be displayed I would suggest to remove them from the tree - they are not needed to display as far as I can see a compiled SOURCE. Will Raptor provide this for the future??

How can I get column sorting to work again when column sort is stuck on release date in the different views (list, album list, and cover flow) in my PC?

I can't sort using other columns because the sorting is stuck/ locked on release date. This is only true for my iTunes U Library. My other libraries and playlists for Music, Movies and TV Shows, Books can be sorted.

to update my ipad would take 5 hours to download the file and the server times out before then.
when i restart, the process starts all over again- not where it left off so will fail again!

Okay, I'm going to try and make as much sense as I possibly can without confusing people. I hope someone can help! So when I downloaded the iOS 7 update one 'major' change I noticed was that my album art in iTunes had automatically changed for me. It was really cool, more up-to-date, and overall enjoyed how it looked. Made it look a lot neater than my own album art I had put on there. Now, when I downloaded the new iOS 8 update I notice that all my album art when back to its original picture which I had put on there. How do I get it back to where it was when I downloaded the iOS 7 Update?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Yes phone will automatically backup to icloud when on wifi and phone is charge, but your phone storage was full so it stop backing up.

My Mac has broken and I want to sell it for parts. How can I be sure that my personal data that is/was on the hard drive is safe?

My 2006 MacBook Pro has broken. There is a little bit of drive noise when I turn it on, but then nothing happens. It is no big deal. Most of my files were backed up. There are a few files I would like to recover if possible, but nothing worth a major effort.
I have seen that broken MacBook Pro's go for about $300 on eBay for parts, so I would like to sell the MacBook Pro. However, I only want to do that after I am sure that my personal data is wiped out. Does anyone know how I can accomplish that? Does anyone know of an easy way to search the old hard drive for some of the data that I lost? Can a Genius Bar take care of this stuff for me (and how much do they charge?)?

The ONLY real secure way to be sure that noone may recover data from your drive is, to remove the drive, and drill one or two 1" holes thru the disk.
A bit less secure but useful way is, to wipe out the data with a tool that's overwrite all sectors of the drive with randomized data in multiple runs.

Independent tests bring out, that even specialized recovery companies with forensic tools are unable to find useful data after such a run.

Is there a fix for layers not displaying in window when desktop theme changes from default?

Every time I change my desktop theme from windows default I can't see the layers in the Adobe window. Can anyone tell me where in options/preferences is the fix for this?

Hi Kelly, what happened is that I changed by Win7 desktop theme to a Holiday based theme and when working in Adobe Photoshop part of CS6 collection I start a new project and the layers work panel shows me there is a back ground layer there but in the Adobe work space window the layer doesn’t display. I tried change layer background colors but that didn’t work. If I change the Wind 7 desktop theme back to default it works as expected. Hope this helps. J
