PowerBook G4 Ti Display Problems It Won't come up full screen

I recently bought this used G4 Ti 15" used thinking all it needed was a hard drive. I seems to boot up Okay I hear the startup tone, I can even reset the PRAM, but the screen comes up with lines and odd colors. Somtimes I can even see the "no system found" icon or the OS 9.1 startup screen, but I can't get the trackpad or a mouse via USB port to make the cursor move! The more I try, like by opening the screen slowly or even shaking it up and down while opening it, the worse it gets. It loks like the screen pixels all are lighting up, but I can't get a full screen picture.
I even tried booting up using FireWire off another iBook and I can almost see the icons until they start fading away.
I'm not sure if it's the logic board, since the USB ports don't work; if it's the screen itself or the wiring to the screen; or if it's the inverter board.
I have taken this apart twice now to check the screen cable since it seems to happen when I open or close the screen.
I did find some cable connections that weren't seated well and I did find a small but POWERFUL magnet floating around inside.
Should I just give this up and part it out? Any help would be welcomed.

When I "Preview In Browser" through Edge it plays (I have created a shape and used the "play video full screen" snippet) in full screen mode just fine. When I "Preview Site In Browser" through Muse and click on the shape to PLAY VIDEO FULL SCREEN, it does nothing. I am new to both programs and can't figure out why it will work out of the preview window in Edge and won't work when I publish to Muse. Does anybody have an answer or a work-around for me?

Select: Put hard disks to sleep when possible
Then click: Restore Defaults

Spotlight won't work in full screen apps

Hi there.
My spotlight search won't work in full screen apps. When pressing cmd+space the mac error tone sounds. I'm pretty sure thats not how it's suppose to be. How can I fix this?

is this happening in multiple applications, or just one? If it's just one then the cmd+space shortcut may be reserved for another funtion.

Still waiting for the quotation .every time i call in hp support service they tell they will send quotation the same day but there is no response. pls send the quotatiom as soon as possible. i am feedup calling hp support care now.

Thumbnails won't go into full screen and remain small in size.

Seem to be having continual problems with iPhoto 6. When I go in into edit mode or even when I try to view photos full screen, I only get small photos (a little bit larger than thumbnails, they are). In otherwords, can't get full screen. Have rebuilt the thumbnail cache, etc. to no avail. Any idea what is going on? The sliding zoom bar at the bottom has no effect.

Are you running iPhoto 6? The Advanced pane should look like this.
If it was OK earlier then try BatChmod and if that doesn't work try rebuilding the library with iPhoto Library Manager. It creates a new, separate library and leaves the original untouched. Here's how;
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your User/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File->Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: It can take some time to create the new library if you have a lot of photos. One user reported that with a library of about 5,000 images it took about 12 hours so plan ahead.

Having screen rendering / memory problems with Microsoft Outlook 2013 and full screen mode with large 2560x1440 dual monitors

MS Outlook 2013 seems to work fine for a while until a) enough time passes or b) I have multiple MS Outlook windows open. Then I start to see all sorts of graphical issues ranging from certain parts of the outlook window not rendering to certain functions
locking etc. Occassionally, when I decrease from full screen I get the screens to render correctly, making me think there's something unique with full screen mode that is causing the issue. There seems to me to be quite a bit of memory issues
with this version.
I have a beast of a graphics card, 32gb of RAM, and a fast SSD, so don't think its the machine.
Thoughts?

Does this happen to other applications?
If it's specific to Outlook, consider to check the hardware acceleration option:
Go to FILE tab -> Options -> Advanced -> Display -> Disable hardware graphics acceleration, turn this option on or off to check the result.
If the issue persists, please also consider whether any 3rd-party add-ins are interfering with Outlook, we can start Outlook in Safe Mode:
Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.
If there's no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which caused the problem.

Firefox won't stay in full screen mode

Whenever I navigate away from a page or switch tabs in full screen mode, firefox goes out of it. I find this particularly annoying and I don't remember having this problem in earlier versions. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
edit: Just discovered it was an issue with the extension "ImageTweak"

Which method did you use to get Internet Explorer to open as full mode?
I have no dual monitor to do a test. however, you could try the kiosk mode, unless you remove the "-k" parameter, it won't toggle out of kiosk mode.
The detailed steps is below:
1. Right click the shortcut you used to open the Internet Explorer.
2. Select its properties, in the Shortcut tab, click
Target text box, move your cursor to the very end of the text in it.
3. Type " -k" at the end without quotation marks. You must precede the hyphen with a space as below.
4. Click Apply and OK to finish it.
Note: Through this method, you must close the entire browser using a keyboard shortcut, such as "Alt-F4" or "Ctrl-W."

Safari won't open in full screen

I had to erase my hard drive and reinstall OSX 10.8.2 on my MBA. Now after I quit Safari in Full Screen on my MBA it won't open again in full screen as it did before I erased and reinstalled OSX. My Mac Mini has always reopened Safari in Full Screen after I close it in Full Screen. All Safari preferences on my Mac Mini and MBA are the same.
Can someone offer a suggestion on how to automatically open Safari in Full Screen?

Mountain Lion is set up to close windows when you quit a program instead of saving them. To change this, put Safari in full-screen mode, move the cursor to the top, open Safari menu while holding Option key and close Safari from the menu.
If you want to do it automatically with all programmes, open System Preferences > General, and deactivate "Close windows when quitting an application"

Bridge won't show me full screen view when pressing spacebar?

This has been happening for a while now. I've had this mac and cs4 for a while with no problems. Then one day, I was looking through a recent photo shoot, I pressed space bar so I could view the image in full screen view, and the dashboard disappeared as well as the menu bar at the top for Bridge itself. ??
I did all updates, as well as un-installed Bridge and re-installed. Still having the same (ANNOYING) issue?!
Why would Bridge just ONE DAY start doing this? Is it some setting or something I clicked? I don't get it.
If anyone's had this problem before (and figured it out!) I would be SO GRATEFUL for some help!

Not sure I understand your problem, Bridge by default shows only the image at full screen with a grey background bordering the parts that don't fit to the screen ratio. Clicking with the mouse in the image shows that part at 100 % and having used rating (cmd + . or cmd + , ) for in- or decreasing rating brings the rating and filename bottom left in view. Has always been this way to my knowledge.
For good sharpness of the full screen image select the option to generate monitor sized previews in Bridge preferences advanced tab.

Problem in making air application in full screen on load

I am new in flex developing. The problem I m facing in making a air application is that I want to make the application window in full screen view without the top toolbar.
The code i got is like:

Extensions require both native code and ActionScript code and are packed by the native extension compiler by Adobe to an ANE file. Check this tutorial: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/building-ane-ios-android-pt1.html
After compiling the extension, you can put the extensionId into your <extensions> branch in the application.xml and add the .ane as an excluded library into your AS3 project. Then you can use the extension like any other external library (swc file).
