PowerBook G4 to MacBook Pro - when?
I am currently using a PowerBook G4 and intend to buy a MacBook Pro. I will need BootCamp as a replacement for my current VPC. I have read that the forthcoming Leopard OS will ship with BootCamp. Am I at any particular disadvantage buy purchasing now (with Tiger+Bootcamp) or would it be advisable to wait another six months or so before changing?

I would suggest you wait. I've been looking to replace my PowerBook G4 for some time, but think buying now is a bad idea.
Core2Duo chips are already available in PC products so if Apple want to compete with the PC brigade, they are going to have to upgrade virtually all of their current line (except the Mac Pro for now) to the new 64 bit Core2Duo.
If they don't, sales will suffer. If I can buy a Core2Duo laptop running Windows now, why can't I get a Core2Duo MacBook Pro now?
I'm not sure if Apple are fully aware of what their transition to Intel means in real terms. They are going to have to offer quicker upgrades on their range of machines to fit in with the constantly upgrading world of PC competition. They can't just sit back as they used to with the PowerPC architecture, knowing it was a better (longevity wise) hardware base.
Intel inside means they have got to move their butts and keep ahead or at least up to date with PC offerings or their products will just look like expenive old computers compared to the constantly upgrading PC's.

Apple has a 90 warranty warranty on all of their repairs. You should take your computer back to the repair shop. Or call Apple Customer Relations (800) 767-2775. Wait for a human to come on the line and ask politely and firmly that you want to be transferred over to the Customer Relations department. Tell them your issue.

Just select Print in Safari and then, in the bottom left-hand corner, select PDF and you can save it to whichever flavor pdf file you like.

How can I sync my iPad 2 with my new MacBook Pro when it is already synced with my old MacBook? I am getting a message on the new MacBook Pro that says I am not allowed to sync the iPad 2 because it is synced to another iTunes library.
1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPad but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPad with it.

On my new MacBook Pro when I am connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable, Facebook pictures do not load. They show up as white boxes with blue question marks. This also happens on a website editor. But, when I am connected to the internet via Wifi, everything load properly. This is my work computer, so I have to be able to connect through the Ethernet cable to access everything. Please help me!

sign into the App Store with your own AppleID
reload the "Featured" main page of the AppStore with ⌘R,
then download iPhoto with your own AppleID.
Make a backup of your iPhoto Library, before your launch the new iPhoto the first time,
If your current system is not Yosemite, you can only buy a boxed iLife 11 version of iPhoto to install it independent of the previous owner. -

You can try a system reinstall:
Reinstalling Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer. -

If you have access to another Mac running Lion or Mountain Lion with an optical drive, you should be able to use the Remote Disc feature to access the optical drive on that other Mac. -
