Powerbook suddently beeps 3 times and wont startup

My older powerbook G4 was working fine, then as I went to start it up it beeped 3 times, then seemed like it went to sleep, the light now flashes 4 times at intervals.
What does it mean, is it fixable?

The three beeps at startup means no good RAM is being detected.
Remove your RAM module(s) and then firmly reinsert it/them. Does that improve matters?

Can someone please help me
I turned off my phone and it turned off phone and then went to turn it back on and the screen blinked 4 times and then nothing.
I have tried taking the battery out and pluging it in - but nothing

if you just have recently purchased this within the last 14 days you should be able to get it replace in store,if not as advised above a nokia care center would be the next place to go

My new apple tv wont connet date and time and wont connect to the internet

I am pulling out my hair and soon my husbands hair!
We just got the apple tv. We are using wireless internet and have a pc.
It cannot find date and time. It keeps searching, but so far still hasn't found it. and its says it's connected
to the internet but when we try to do anything it says we are not, connection fails,, or what not~!
We have tried to reset the router and the apple tv to no sucess!
Our firewire has an exception to allow itunes.
We have tried to do it manually as well and nothing has worked!
Can someone please help!!

Indesign CS6 crashes and wont startup again after reboot - iMac

I have a strange issue that has started in the last couple of weeks. If i restart or reboot my iMac my indesign will not open again. It tries to start to open ('loading image' appears and icon bounces in the dock) but always fails and gives an error afterwards each time (i will attach).
What i have done so far is the usual deleting of preferences, replacing default file and rebooting the machine again but nothing works.
The only thing that i can do to get it working again is to reinstall indesign from the disk (design & web premium). All other Creative Suite applications don't need reinstalling and work fine.
Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did they fix it as its bit of a pain having to reinstall indesign after each reboot.

Screen brightness rapidly fluctuating and wont startup

hi guys, hope someone has seen this before and can point me in the right direction.
have set up dual boot on this system (t440s), windows 8 partition isup and running. was in the middle of installing drivers and programs for windows 7 partition, and after one of the restarts this is happening.

stays like that indefinitely, wont start up.
I have tried going into safe mode and uninstalling programs one by one to find out which one caused this, but i'm running out of things to uninstall and it's still like that.

ended up fixing this with just doing a system restore, may have been the intel HD drivers i downloaded from the lenovo site, downloaded from intel site and all working ok

The History tab at the top of the screen. When I click it it shows history but it shows the same thing every time and wont change. Even when i click "all history" and delete it it is still there. How do i delete it?

Could you be specific where the files to fix this are?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Open BlackBerry Link.
Ensure the computer is connected to the Internet.
Power off the BlackBerry 10 smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
Connect the device to the computer.
When the device button is available on the bottom of the BlackBerry Link window, click it.
Click the Reload button.

My ipod is stuck in recovery mode and wont restore

so i plugged my ipod touch in the other day and updated itunes, but then my ipod went in to recovery mode and itunes said i needed to restore it...so i clicked restore, then restore and update, then it took 2 hours to download and nothing happened afterwards. its come up with error 1604 a few times and wont restore. i hav tried so many things-i've put it in DFU, i've even tried on another computer and on my laptop that had no memory of it. this is the 3rd time this has happened to my ipod now and it is so annoying !! the other 2 times i hav taken it to a apple store and they hav fixed it but i dont wanna keep having to do that-and i dont see y they can fix but i cant please help me it would be much appresiated.

I know that the speakers work because it will randomly play sound but for a very short amount of time and just recently stopped making sounds all together. the phone is almost brand new and has no damage I just bought it a few months ago. What can I do to fix the problem?

Clean iPhone charging port with a clean dry toothbrush. See if better. If not, clean again with toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol. See if better. If not, try Restore. If still a problem, and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

Loosing time and date

My macbook suddently looses time and date - it switses to year 2000.
Would a reset of PRAM be a solution? Or.....????

Sorry we are unclear as to the external hard drive and its connection to the TC..
For instance the light that blinks.. is that the TC or external hard disk or what.
Did you try just rebooting / restart the whole network in correct order.. modem.. router / TC.. external drive.. clients with 2min gap between each.
Are you actually running Snow Leopard as the profile states?
How old is the TC?

My HP Pavilion DV7 wont boot up it beeps three times and blinks 1 time

I have been having problems with my HP Pavilion DV7 for the last several months. When I turn it on I get a black screen. It will beep three times and the caps LED will blink one time. When this first started happening I would turn it off and try to turn it on again. Sometimes it would take turning it off and on several times before it would boot up. Now it will not boot up at all. It just does the same thing every time. When I turn the power on I can hear the fan and the beeps and see the light blink but that is all. I have even tried to turn it on in safe mode but still get the same results.

I understand that your notebook is having trouble booting up properly, and that you are getting a beep/LED code. I am happy to assist you with this.
Assuming the flashing code is a repeating single flash that would indicate a cpu problem. The beeps are commonly indicating a problem with the RAM. Please see the following, and if necessary reseat the memory cards, and see if the problem remains.

MacBook Pro 8,2 beeps at random times long after startup and routine use

This issue seems elusive on the forums as everyone seems to get stuck on the POST beep codes heard only at boot up and this is not related to that. The issue is specific to the MBP 8,2 model as we have dozens of models that came before and after and not a single one suffers from this beeping. I've taken both models in for Warranty support and hardware tests presented no hardware errors.
My feeling is that this issue is realted to power management. Of the two types of beep tones we get - one quieter that stops only by closing the cover and sending the Mac into hibernation and one that is far louder (it has frequently been described like a fire alarm by nearby users) and stops only by pulling the power cable from the laptop. In this latter situation, the Mac shuts off instantly making it clear that the system cannot switch to battery power correctly - further evidence of power management issues.
I'm hoping that someone has come across this issue and can separate it from error beeps related to badly installed RAM.
Also of note is that the battery on this model of Mac laptop are not removable.

First off there is no model after the 8.2 MBP 15". That is the latest model.
Since this a fairly new MBP you would better off calling Apple tech support. They will certainly know what those beep are and what is causing them.

You most likely have a problem with the RAM. It may be bad , or not seated properly. You should bring it in to an Apple Genius bar, the diagnosis is free. Re-seat it and they have tools to test for faulty RAM.They will then tell you your options.
