Powercord light does not come on, still charged at first but now nothing...

The light on the mag part no longer lights up, it charged still on friday but as of today it is no longer charging. I assume the adapter is just bad.
is this covered under apple care?

Most likely the adapter, yes, and that is covered under AppleCare. You might try resetting the SMC:

Else, just contact AppleCare.

This didn't work for me, so I did a bit of searching and TONS of pages later in google, I found an answer. Here are the steps for people who also were in my situation:
1. Take off bottom case
2. Unplug battery - blurry image here: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/03cC79r5Dx4/0.jpg
3. Press and hold power button for 5 seconds
4. Plug a charger in, and it should start booting up
5. After shutting down again, reconnect the battery and close the case up
6. It works! (hopefully, if you guys had the same situation I did)

If you have the chance stop by an Apple Retail store and talk to them about it...they often work deals for replacement of out of warranty non-working items for prices around half price. Won't hurt to stop by and see what they will do for you.

Do you have access to a USB wired Apple (or maybe even a PC) keyboard?
That may be used to help troubleshoot the internal keyboard and on startup
be able to access (or see if you can) the System, and attempt to see about
troubleshooting. See if it will start in SafeBoot, (shift key held down just after
startup tone, if it runs in safeboot, then login to see if you can read system
logs in Console) and another idea may be to attempt to start in Recovery &
then attempt to use OS X Utilities there to see if you can verify and then to
repair the hard disk drive, and do some checks on the hardware.

Was the computer an Apple official refurbished unit bought direct from Apple?
Did you get an extended warranty from Apple - if it were directly bought there?

or via amazon, and may or may not have a residual warranty of some kind.

so I have called HP tech support 12 times over the last 6 weeks and still my HP Officejet 4620 loses connection overnight. Of course becasue it was a birthday present I spent more time than I normally would have on this issue. While the tech are very polite they have not fixed my problem and now it is too late to return printer to store. This is a lot of money wasted and I think they need to admit this is a bug in this printer and resolve the problem!!!!!

I would take it into apple and see if they can fix it or replace your phone.

It's possible there is a problem with the shuffle, but a few more questions and suggestions to rule out other possibilities...
Are you using the original cable that came with the shuffle? Some third-party replacements look similar, but if it is made for the 2nd gen shuffle, it will not work because the connector is different.
Are you using a direct USB port on the computer, and not a USB hub? A USB hub that is self-powered (has its own power supply) should work, but try a direct USB port on computer.
If you have not since this problem occurred, shut down (power off) your computer. If there are other USB devices connected, as a test, you may want to disconnect them, except for standard keyboard and mouse (if normally used). Do this to Reset the shuffle

Turn on computer, run iTunes, and connect shuffle to a direct USB port.
If that does not help, did this shuffle work previously on this computer, and does not work now for some reason? Or is this a new shuffle that was not previously connected to this computer? (If it is less than one year since purchase date, it is under warranty.)

I know my battery is weak or possible shot. When I plug in the charger the indicator light does light-up. It was working OK when I shut it off last night. I tested the charger and it is putting outa good charge. the laptop won't start.

Please try to Power ON the Notebook only with AC/Power Adapter without the Battery, If it does not work try to Power
ON the Notebook with a spare/known good AC/Power Adapter and Battery individually one at a time.. meanging Test your Notebook individually with AC/Power Adapter alone and Battery alone

Wait for any updates to download and run.
