Powerline Adapter TP-Link TL-PA4010KIT - AV500 Nano Powerline trustable?

Hi Guys
I'm considering on buying a new powerline adapter set since there seem to be difficulties with mine (7 years old now so I guess it has had it's best time).
Is TP-Link TL-PA4010KIT - AV500 Nano Powerline adapter startset a good device or is TP-link in general trustable?
Other tips or devices/adapter sets to consider?
Thanks
Bob

Powerline in general is an "iffy" kind of deal since every installation is different.
I've seen installations where TP-Link products worked very well in one installation....my neighbor's house, for example.....while the same models of products did not work reliably in another installation....my home.
But the fact that Netgear worked well for me when I was using powerline a few years ago does not mean to imply that Netgear products would work well for you.
In general, it is probably fair to say that TP-Link products are a good value, so that might be a good place to start.
The bottom line to your question is this.....
You will not know how well....or if....the products you choose will work well for your installation until you try them out in your home. For that reason, it would be wise to have a clear understanding of the store's return policy before you buy.

  • Ice-Link Plus and iPod Nano 3G

    Hi,
I've been using an Dension Ice-Link plus and iPod Nano 1G in my Alfa GT for two years without any problem. Now I'm thinking in buying a new Nano 3G but I don't know the Ice-Link is fully compatible with the new Nano 3G.
The Dension Support hasn't answer yet to this question.
I suppose it will be as the base connector haven't changed but I'd like to know if someone in this forum could confirm it or not.
    Thanks,

I use the Ice Link Plus in my BMW, and I can confirm that the Nano 3G indeed works with my system. Ought to work with yours aswell.
Must say that I'm a bit disappointed on Dension aswell... they could have done this test and written some info on their site. Buying the Nano 3G was a bit of a gamble for me =)

  • Adapter Engine link disapperead from RWB - component monitoring screen

    Hi.
    I restarted PI.
After that, the "adpter engine" line (link) disapperead from the page RWB - component monitoring.
PI is running, it is exchanging data with Ecc and Thirdy Party systems.
How to solve the problem ?
    To arrive to "defective" screen:
http://host:5xx00/rwb/index.jsp  --> component monitoring --> component with status all --> display
Under domain xx, under integration server, there is no adapter engine line/link
    Thanks !

    HI,
Check in SLD-> content maintenence-> XI adapter framework is registered or not...
If not thn register by performing  the action as follows:
    1. In the J2EE administrator tool in cluster - server - services - deploy
(application view), stop the J2EE applications:
    a. sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.monitor

  • Virtual Switch adapter getting link-local IP address (apipa)

    Hi Everyone,
Not sure what I am doing wrong here.
I have installed an Hyper-V 2012 R2 core server on a brand new Dell server.
I then went to use Virtual Switch Manager via Hyper-V Manager to create a virtual switch adapter, selected external (I want to share my existing server NIC), allow management operating system to share this network adapter.
Then I configured my virtual machine to use this.
When I start the virtual machine I get a 169 type IP address, cannot ping gateway or host. The VM does not even get a proper IP using DHCP. DHCP is working fine from another physical server.
When I check the hyperv core host and select 8 for  "Network Settings", I get:
    15    192.168.20.44   Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet #5
    22    169.254.101.167 Hyper-V Virtual Ethernet Adapter #2
Why is hyperv creating a virtual adapter with an Apipa address which is not usable?
I followed all the steps correctly, but it does not work.
Can anyone point me into the right direction to solve this problem?
    Thanks and regards

  • Can I have onDemand pooling from AQ using the AQ Adapter partner link?

    Hi,
In my requirment, there is a legacy system which puts (Enque) the messages into AQ between 6PM to 7PM. So after that I have a requirement to pool the queue (Deque) in the evening 7PM daily. How to controle my ADAPter to pool only in the evening?
I can sehedule my orocess for 7PM daily, but the ADAPTER continiously starts pooling, is there a way to controle this?
    Thanks
    Khaleel

I thought of a better solution but it will require a minor adjustment to the source systems process. Before the process starts it stops disables dequeueing. Then it enqueues the messages
    PROCEDURE DBMS_AQADM.STOP_QUEUE
    (queue_name => my_queue,
    enqueue => false,
    dequeue => true);
Once it is completed it enables the queues
    PROCEDURE DBMS_AQADM.START_QUEUE
    (queue_name => my_queue,
    enqueue => true,
    dequeue => false);
you still have the issue of clearing the queue of failed process but you have that issue now so I assume you have a solution for this.
    hope this helps
    cheers

  • R12 EBS Adapter - iRep Link

    Hi,
Can you let us know whether EBS Adapter is part of standard R12.0.4 installation or not? How do we expose the public web services shown in iRep? Where are these webservices hosted?
    any information is helpful.
    Thanks

The JDev version should match your SOA Suite version. If you are starting a new project it is best to upgrade you to 10.1.3.4. This means that you would use JDev 10.1.3.4
eBus Adapter is installed in SOA Suite out of the box, but to check that it is installed login to Enterprise Manger select the oc4j comtainer (home for basic and oc4j_soa for advanced). Look at the applications installed. There should be one for apps adapter.
sorting your connection issue I would nee to know the errors, but have you started SOA Suite, are you connecting remotely, if so has the network been set up so your remote machine can connect. Are you usng the right port.
what is the status of opmn?
    run the command
    opmnctl status
    from the directory $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin.
    cheers

  • TV causes interference with powerline adapter

I just had infinity installed and I have a problem with my powerline adapters, which is next to the TV (it is for the sky+ box for sky go). The powerline adapters are TP-Link tl-pa211 and the TV is a Panasonic th-37px70b.
When the TV is on, the maximum I can get through the ethernet powerline is 14mb/s, but if the TV is off or on standby I can get close 40mb/s (i.e. the maximum on the broadband line). The TV is on a wall bracket so it is difficult to move.
    I have tried:
TV in room 1 connected to socket in room 1 and powerline in room 1 - 14mb/s when tv is on, 40mb/s when tv is off/standby.
TV in room 1 connected to socket in room 1 and powerline in room 2 - 40mb/s constantly.
TV in room 1 connected to socket in room 2 and powerline in room 2 - 40mb/s constantly.
TV in room 1 connected to socket in room 2 and powerline in room 1 - 14mb/s when tv is on, 40mb/s when tv is off/standby.
It seems it is the actual TV that is directly causing the interference with the powerline adapater, not the TV causing interference in the electricity line. I'm not sure how it can interfere directly.
Has anyone had anything like this before or is the TV just faulty?

Thanks for you reply. I have tried the TV connected directly to the socket and the powerline connected to a seperate twin socket about 1 meter away and I still get the problem when the TV is on. Also, I have connected the TV to a power socket on the other side of the house with a extension cord while not actually moving the TV and the powerline adapter connected to a socket near the TV and this still gives the same problem when the TV is on. And then, with the TV still on the extension cord to the otherside of the house, I connected the powerline to the same twin socket as the extension cord and this produced no problems.
So, it must be the physical proximity of the TV with the powerline adapter that is causing the problem. So could the TV be emmitting some frequency that is interfering with the powerline adapter?
I actually use a wireless powerline adapter (TP-Link TL-WPA281) in the socket, but for testing this problem I use the non-wireless version (TP-Link TK-PA211). And according to this thread, the BT Hub 3B isn't compatible with wireless extenders. Why is upgrading to infinity so annoying?

  • IPod Nano 2gen and Honda Music Link 2.0 compatibility issue

I have compatibility issue with my iPod Nano 2nd generation and Honda Music Link 2.0 adapter.
My iPod is on 1.1.3 firmware (the latest), and it doesn't work with Honda Music Link:
I have iPod Nano 2nd Generation (Firmware 1.1.3). I created playlists on iPod like it is written in documentation (Honda1, Honda2, etc.).
I connect iPod, press CD/AUX and it flashes CDC 9 for a while then says CDC Error.
Music is playing but I cannot control iPod from Head unit buttons. The only way to change tracks/playlists is to do it directly on iPod.
Note that when iPod is connected there is no "Honda" logo on it as it is supposed to be.
I discovered that iPod Nano 2gen work with Honda Music Link if the iPod is on 1.0.2 firmware.
Moreover Honda Music Link even doesn't work with other iPods which are on latest firmware version. So the only problem to solve the problem I see is to downgrade the iPod. Buying new one won't solve the problem.
Could you provide me this old firmware 1.0.2 for my iPod Nano 2gen (ipsw + signature files)?
If you cannot please provide me a way how to solve my problem.

I suspect that the dealer is correct.
My wife has a 2006 Accord EX Sedan and the MusicLink ceased to work with her 5G iPod after iTunes 7 and Firmware 1.2 (flashing 6 in AUX-CD mode). It does however still work with my first gen. iPod Nano.
I prefer to use the MusicLink without the TTS software, and have therefore not tried MusicLink 1.3.

  • Connecting nano to AC adapter

I have an AC adapter for my ipod Classic. Can I use this adapter to charge my new ipod nano generation 4?

Depends on if the wall charger charges via USB power of +5V or Firewire power of +12V. If it charges via the Firewire pins on the iPod, it won't work on the new 4th Generation iPod.
The good news is, if it does charge via Firewire, you will simply get a message on the iPod's screen telling you it won't work. It won't actually damage anything, so go ahead and plug it in and see if it works.
    Cheers,

  • SolMan Adapter HP QC, not able to link documents in Quality Prerequisites

Hello Everyone: I am currently using Solution Manager 4.0 with the adapter for HP Quality Center activated.
Within the Quality Prerequisites tab (formerly  known as Quality Standards tab) if I try to add a Quality Prerequisite document with the option "Link to a Solution Manager Document" I am not able to find any existing Solution Manager Document except for those that were previously created within the same Quality Prerequisites tab.
I would like to know if this is an issue or is it a normal behavior for this adapter.

    Hello,
If you want to create a link, it is the normal behaviour as only object of this type are available for linking.
If you want to create a copy, you would be able to select documents from the other tabs.

  • IPod Nano black bottom bezel replacement.

Hi all, not sure where else to ask this, but here goes:
I seem to have lost the bottom black plastic bezel that surrounds the headphone+adapter jacks of my Black iPod Nano 4th gen. I have looked all over the Apple website looking for a solution but am unable to find one. Has anyone had any success getting such a part replaced by apple? Or does anyone know where I should be asking this question, as the parts and repair service form that Apple provide here does not go into enough detail to allow the selection of the part in question.
They don't seem to have any generic "email us" links either unless I'm missing it.
    Thankyou very much!

We have the same problem. My Dad took his Nano store and the folks at the Genius bar told us that particular part wasn't covered under warranty. This is totally unacceptable. We've only had the nano since Christmas and it is already falling apart and Apple is refusing to stand behind their product.

  • Wi-fi: No Hardware Found and USB Wi-fi Adapter

    Hello !
I want to explain everything that happened from the beginning. My MacBook Air started giving a problem showing " Wifi : No No Hardware Installed " . Then the problems started . I found a few ways to resolve this problem:
1 . Holding Command + Option + P + R before turning on the MacBook . He goes to the gray screen and restart again. Now release the keys .
2 . Shut down your MacBook and connect the charger . Click Left Shift + Control + Command + Power simultaneously. Generally the macbook league, but if you do not call , press the power button.
3 . When the system starts up activate bluetooth and then turn off . Restart . Should operate normally . Almost does not work sometimes restarting , shut solves .
Note : all these ways are temporary resolutions .
When the Wifi back to work, after some time the system panics and crashes and to shut down the macbook and start it again . When Wi - fi appears : No No Hardware Installed the macbook works perfectly without wi - fi .
I read many articles on forums and I think the problem may be with the AirPort card . I have not been to an apple store to see a budget.
Trying to solve the problem I bought a Wireless USB Adapter: LINK ONE - L1-AW1Un that comes with the installation CD containing the drivers. Use the Mavericks (the latest) installed. After restarting, open the program normally Raillink the Wireless Utility. I connect, create a profile and appears active when connected after a few seconds change to disconected doing it constantly.
Below is the Wireless USB Adapter manual: LINK ONE - L1-AW1Un.
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0tn0xatEydORjF5aV96ZFZxQ3M/edit
    (MANUAL - Google Drivers)
    I did not follow. Unable to create an IIS 7 certificate as shown in the manual. The drivers on the CD and the website are 10.5, 10.6, 10.7;
    I need help.
    Thank You

    Hello Marvyn,
Try install following driver on Ralink's site: http://www.mediatek.com/en/downloads/usb-rt2870rt2770rt3x7xrt537xrt5572/.
After install driver on my MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), the Wireless USB Adapter L1-AW1Un works perfectly.
    Best regards.

  • Error in creating AQ Adapter for SYS.ANYDATA Queue  Exception : 1w

    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to run AQ Adapter wizard for a SYS.ANYDATA type of queue in my composite application with Oracle Mediator. According to the oracle documentation, it is recommended to set SchemaValidation property to false before running this wizard to avoid further validation exceptions. Here is the statement in oracle documentation :
    Note:
When creating an SOA composite that uses Oracle AQ Adapter with ADT data type if the SchemaValidation property is set to TRUE, then any NULL data type in dequeue message will result in AQ_INVALID_PAYLOAD error further resulting in message rejection. To avoid message rejection, you must set the SchemaValidation property to false.
    [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_aq.htm|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_aq.htm]
However, I can't find where should I set this property in my composite project. I can't find any sample of AQ Adapter for SYS.ANYDATA type of queue. I'm getting this exception while creating AQ Adapter partner link:
"Error while getting Oracle object xml schema definition for queue table xxx_qt Exception :1 "
"Error while writting wsdl file .... AQIn.wsdl Exception : null "
The same post I found but no one has answered yet:

I will appreciate if someone can give me a sample on how to use SYS.ANYDATA queue using AQ Adapter.
    Thanks

I too had this issue, the error message regarding the CONNECT BY is misleading, the XML schema did give me a clue.
Connect to the Oracle db using the same user as you are using through the AQ Adapter. Do a desc on the message table. This did bring up the columns, however when I clicked on Data on table, I got an error saying it couldn't access underlying data type. I then executed a grant all to object type under the owner of the object type to the AQ Adapter user.
Came back to BPEL and went through the same steps, but did not get any error on clicking Finish on the Wizard.
    Hope this helps.
