Poweron issue

Hello all,
i have this poblem:
my scheduled poweron doesn't work.
i've yet trashed com.apple.autowake.plist and com.apple.powermanagement.plist
i have also edit crontab, scheduling pmset wakeorpoweron command, but my mac won't startup.
i think launchd has any problems.

  • IPhone 4s 64GB Network Issues

I have a iPhone 4s 64GB that has intermident wifi network issues. I have completely restored the phone and am running in factory configuration with only one app installed (ping utility)and am still experiencing the following issue. When using the network (safari, facetime, etc) the network will become unresponsive. If i start a ping from the device the to the network gateway I get no response. If I ping the iPhone from the computer I get no response. If I toggle airplane move on then off everything starts working and the device will start to function normally and respond to pings. This happens continually throughout the day to any network I am connected to. I have received a replacement device and still have the same issue. I have talked to apple numerous times and they still say it is hardware. I have also deployed 100 iphone 4s to our company and hear of similar issues. Has anyone else had this issue or found a resolution? I am a very big advocate of apple products but after this exprience I will no longer be upgrading to the latest and greatest. I have reverted to using my iPhone 4 with ios5 with no issues.
I have attached the console logs from my iphone that  retrieved from the iPhone configuration utility from a time when the issue was occuring.

  • Netra T1 105, issue with LOM prompt

    Hello all,
I am having issue in accessing OK prompt from LOM menu. When I do the poweron, it sits on LOM event: power on. When I do, console it shows stand by. Please help me out here as I am working on making this server to respond. Thanks.

Hi. Could you tell me if patches 108620-04 or higher & 108673-02 or higher are already installed on the Netra t1 105?
*How to determine if the Netra[TM]T1 model 105 server PROM patches are current [ID 1010561.1]*
    Description
How to determine if patches 108620-04 or higher & 108673-02 or higher are already installed on the Netra t1 105.
    Steps to Follow
These two patches have to do with OBP(OpenBoot PROM) and the user prom.
108620-04 Hardware/PROM: Netra t1 Standalone User PROM Update
    108673-02 Hardware/PROM: Netra t1 System PROM Update
    108673-02 delivers OBP 3.10.27.
This can be checked via the OBP with the .version command.
    OBP Example:
    ok .version
    Release 3.10.27 ME created 2000/06/22 16:45
    OBP 3.10.27 2000/06/22 16:45
    POST 1.17.0 2000/03/06 12:18
This can be checked via Solaris[TM] with: prtconf -V
    Solaris[TM] Example:
    # prtconf -V
    OBP 3.10.27 2000/06/22 16:45
If you see Release 3.10.27 you do not need to install this patch.
    108620-04 delivers the dropins
These can be checked at the ok prompt with the show-dropins command.
    Example:
    ok show-dropins
    Dropins for Flash device: /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ebus@1/flashprom@10,0

    ok
The part that is of interest is about two thirds of the way down to do
    with ebus-14.400000, probe+, banner- and tty-control.
If the Checksum matches you you don't need to install this patch.
On the other hand it won't cause any problems to reinstall both patches.

  • U310 Windows 7 boot issue - black screen

    Hi
my u310 w7 500Go i3 I bought less than two months ago got problems since some time already for booting. Nothing happens except Caps light blink on the keyboard + power and battery lights. Only black screen (no bios, lenovo message whatever)
Until now I was able to get it back 3 times after 'trying' a number of times (30 ?) pressing the power button on/off or just waiting. One time I just waited for 1 hour and it was booting on the first press of power button. This time I am about to give up.
I have tried to press F2, F8, F10,F12 just after poweron (not sure if i have to use function key or not at that time, i set it back in bios to'normal' mode with Fn)
I tried with power cable plugged/unpluged.
I tried connecting an external DVD drive with W7 recovery disk. I tried to press recovery button. Nothing happens. (DVD drive lights up)
    help would be much appreciated!
    thanks
    hervey

    Hi
    Welcome To Lenovo Community
We are really sorry to hear about the issue you are facing,
Please try disconnecting all cable and battery from the unit , Now press the power button for 30-40 sec then release , perform this action 4 -5 times , now connect AC adaptor  to check  by powering on and booting the system. If system is working fine you can shut down and connect the battery to check
Do give this a try and let us know
    Hope This Helps

    Added srvctl output

    Hello,
I monitored the following file when starting the second instance.
    - /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/crs/log/shared-rac2/alertshared-rac1.log (on RAC1)
    - /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/crs/log/shared-rac2/alertshared-rac2.log (on RAC2)
    There was no output generated.
Regarding the article you sent, I did not follow it, however I followed this article: http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/chan-ubl-vmware.html
I did not follow it step by step as I do not want ASM in my testing environment. However, the concepts have been used as described and in the same order. All of the shared disks are Oracle Clusterware Filesystem (OCFS2).

  • A strange issue...

    Hi All
Okay here it is. Is it possible that an iMac USB keyboard
can screw up the power supply or bung something up within
    the iMac?
    Here's the back story. I inherited a G3 Lime iMac from a
former employer for my son. It worked fine for a while and
then, when it would boot up it would just shut off after
the chime and Apple icon. I replaced the PRAM battery,
checked for faulty RAM, etc etc... and deduced it as being
an old system and the power supply just went on it...
Now, I just bought a G3 400 Strawberry, supposedly in working
order, booted it up fine (with the previous keyboard and
puck mouse plugged in). FOund that the CD drive would not
accept a CD (so I have to remove it and see if there's one
    stuck in it).
THe issue came when I tried to eject using the mouse on
start up. I held it down and it shut down the computer.
I turned it back on and it shut down after the chime and
Apple logo, just like the Lime one from above! I remove
the keyboard/mouse tried a restart, same thing. I unplugged
it, plugged it back in and restarted, and it booted fine.
I restarted again just to be safe and it shut down again.
Did the Keyboard/mouse screw something up? Has anyone ever
heard of this? I'm confused and frustrated.
ANy help or suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Gentlemen
    Thanks for the responses.
I'm kinda ****** that this is happening now. Just wanted an older
Mac for my son to play some OS9 Reader rabbit games The imac was
the perfect choice because he can't do much damage to it (especially
    the monitor).
"SheepShaver is an Open Source PowerPC MacOS run-time environment. That is, it enables you to run PowerPC Classic MacOS software on your computer, even if you are using a different operating system. However, you still need a copy of MacOS and a PowerMacintosh ROM image to use this program. SheepShaver is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). "
    http://gwenole.beauchesne.info/en/projects/sheepshaver
Installing Mac OS Classic on SheepShaver is a struggle. There is some instability once you have completed the installation.
I checked the PRAM battery (was fine) reset the PMU, tried to eject CD using firmware, the weird thing is is that it won't start up with a keyboard attached (tried my original imac one and also my G5 iMac one) same issue... I have to unplug it, and reboot a few times for it to boot up... seems like the keyboard has something to do with it... maybe a USB port issue?
Does the keyboard work fine in Open firmware?
Here are in some other commands that you can do in open firmware.
Hold down command-option-o-f then poweron your machine. Continue holding until the Open Firmware screen appears.
#In case you have a cd you don't want. How to eject a cd from the internal cd drive:
    eject cd
    #insert the cd
    mac-boot
#You will need to quickly press the and hold down the c key.
In case you act too late, shutdown your machine. Hold down the option key. This will bring up the startup manager. Power on your machine. Click on the dvd image. Click on the arrow icon.
    List of devices:
    devalias
    List of variables
    printenv
This is a quote from the web:
Sometimes if volumes don't appear in Startup Manager (what you get when you hold down the Option key at startup), you need to reset the Mac's PRAM, NVRAM, and Open Firmware. Shut down the Mac, then power it up, and before the screen lights up, quickly hold down the Command, Option, P, and R keys, until the Mac has chimed twice more after the powerup chime. Then, before the screen lights up, hold down Command-Option-O-F until the Open Firmware screen appears. Then enter these lines, pressing Return after each one:
    reset-nvram
    set-defaults
    reset-all
Why set nvram variable? I've had open-firmware based Pegasos PPC and it simply had boot command, so instead of:
    setenv boot-device ud:3,\:tbxi
    should be enough to write:
    boot ud:3,\:tbxi

  • When will you fix battery issues on ios 5.1.1? I have the same settings but 85% less battery life!!!

I have read many tips about what to do for increasing battery life. However
I hav the same setting with ios 5.1.1 that I was using with the previous
version (ios 5.1) but with 85% less battery life time. It is so frustrating because this
issue come back every 2 update : one killing your battery and the second
to fix this, and it starts again... I am really sick of this.
I am using an iPhone 4.

Hi All – I have also experienced the battery drain issue on upgrade to 5.1.1.
Like many on the forum I have tried ALL suggestions to resolve this issue, none of them have resolved the problem that Apple owners seem to be experiencing, it’s not in our minds as some suggest. My iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS are working a treat under 5.1.1, in fact I believe the 3GS is running better than under 4.3.x.
However I do think I have tracked the problem down, which I will document here, but first a list of the things I’ve tried:
    - Fully discharge battery to <5% and then back to 100% and leave charging for 3 hours after
    - Turn off all notifications
    - Turn off all location services
    - Turn down brightness
    - Turn off ALL iCloud services (effectively delete the account)
    - Reconfigure email account to ‘MANUAL Fetch’ only
    - Factory restore to fresh 5.1.1 from within iTunes and then restore from back-up
The only thing that stops the battery discharging at around 5% every 8 hours is turning off Wi-Fi during standby mode. Prior to 5.1.1 the iPad would drain maybe 1% every 24 hours in standby mode with Wi-Fi on.
Puzzled by this I did some research to understand what the iPad is doing whilst in standby mode with Wi-Fi on, so below is a trace from the iPad system log so that hopefully someone can look at this , identify the issue and hopefully fix it in a future ios 5.1.x release:

These repeating messages appear approx every 30 seconds the wakeup packet contains the MAC addresses for my router and iPad, so one of them is misbehaving. This may be to do with how these have been implemented:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wake-on-LAN
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_Proxy_Service
Either way I believe this is the source of the power drain issue whilst in standby with Wi-Fi turned on, perhaps this could be a router issue and that is why the issue not hitting everyone post 5.1.1?
    All the best.

  • T2000 Service Console / ALOM Issue

Has anyone run into this issue:
    sc> poweron
Host poweron is disabled due to:
Host flash image invalid, flashupdate required.
So I go, run flashupdate - everything completes as normal - no errors or anything out of the ordinary. I'll then reset the SC (I've used the resetsc command and just removing power) as per normal.
    But once again i get:
    sc> poweron
Host poweron is disabled due to:
Host flash image invalid, flashupdate required.
after the reset. I've tried 6.3.7 and 6.4.6 firmware releases and they both behave the same. clearfaults doesn't work either.
I've also replaced the battery on SC just in case.
I'm wondering if some how my SC has gone bad and I have to replace it or is there a trick to reset this fault?
    cheers and thanks,
    ben

I am getting the same message. Were you able to determine a fix?
    Thanks,

  • PowerOn Failed : Result - failed:errcode=20000, errmsg=No enough memory

    Hi,
When I tried to start a VM from ovm manager I get this message 'PowerOn Failed : Result - failed:errcode=20000, errmsg=No enough memory to run vm'
As per this document (https://communities.oracle.com/portal/server.pt/community/view_document/217?docID=198299) I have tried these commands to increase memory
    [root@ovm-rac-exp01 ~]# xm info | grep -E '^free_memory'
    free_memory : 15590
    [root@ovm-rac-exp01 ~]# /opt/ovs-agent-2.3/db/db_kv.py srv ovm-rac-exp01 -t int -f mem_free 15590
    old: ovm-rac-exp01 => 0
    new: ovm-rac-exp01 => 15590
but after a few seconds mem_free returns to 0
How can I set the mem_free parameter ?
    Thanks

I am experiencing the same behavior.

It seems the agent is re-reading what it thinks is total available memory (from where?) and updating the database. I tried stopping the agent, changing 'mem_free' value and then restarting the agent but it makes no difference. Not sure procedure in docID=198299 is supported anyway.

  • New DVR Issues (First Run, Channel Switching, etc.)

I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to find answers through the search with no luck, so sorry if I missed something.
I recently switched to FIOS from RCN cable in New York.  I've gone through trying to setup my DVR and am running into issues and was hoping for some answers.
    1.  I setup two programs to record at 8PM, I was watching another channel at the time and only half paying attention.  Around 8:02 I noticed a message had popped up asking if I would like to switch channels to start recording.  I was expecting it to force it to switch like my old DVR, but in this case it didn't switch and I missed the first two minutes of one of the shows.  I typically leave my DVR on all day and just turn off the TV, this dual show handling will cause issues with that if I forget to turn off the DVR.  Is there a setting I can change that will force the DVR to choose one of the recording channels?
    2.  I setup all my recordings for "First Run" because I only want to see the new episodes.  One show I setup was The Daily Show on comedy central, which is shown weeknights at 11pm and repeated 3-4 times throughout the day.  My scheduled recordings is showing all these as planned recordings even though only the 11pm show is really "new".  Most of the shows I've setup are once a week so they aren't a problem, but this seems like it will quickly fill my DVR.  Any fixes?
    Thanks for the help.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I came from RCN about a year ago.  Fios is different in several ways, not all of them desirable.  Here are several ways to get--and fix--unwanted recordings from a series recording setup.
    Some general principles.
Saving changes.  When you originally create a series with options, or if you go back to edit the options for an existing series, You MUST save the Series Options changes.  Pretty much everywhere else in the user interface, when you change an option, the change takes effect immediately--but not in Series Options.  Look at the Series Options window.  Look at the far right side.  There is a vertical "Save" bar, which you must navigate to and click OK on to actually save your changes.  Exiting the Series Options window without having first saved your changes loses all your attempted changes--immediately.
Default Series Options.  This is accessed  from [Menu]--DVR--Settings--Default Series Options.  This will bring up the series options that will automatically be applied to the creation of a NEW series. The options for every previously created series will not be affected by a subsequent modification of the Default Series Options.  You should set these options to the way you would like them to be for the majority of series recordings that you are likely to create.  Be sure to SAVE your changes.  This is what you will get when you select "Create Series Recording" from the Guide.  When creating a new series recording where you think that you may want options different from the default, select "Create Series with Options" instead.  Series Options can always be changed for any individual series set up later--but not for all series at once.
Non-series recordings.  With Fios you have no directly available options for these.  With RCN and most other DVRs, you can change the start and end times for individual episodes, including individual episodes that are also in a series.  With Fios, your workarounds are to create a series with options for a single program, then delete the series later;  change the series options if the program is already in a series, then undo the changes you made to the series options later; or schedule recordings of the preceding and/or following shows as needed.
And now, to the unwanted repeats.
First, make sure your series options for the specific series in question--and not just the series default options--include "First Run Only".  If not, fix that and SAVE.  Then check you results by viewing the current options using the Series Manager app under the DVR menu.
Second, and most annoying, the Guide can have repeat programs on your channel tagged as "New".  It happens.  Set the series option "Air Time" to "Selected Time".  To make this work correctly, you must have set up the original series recording after selecting the program in the Guide at the exact time of a first run showing (11pm, in your case), and not on a repeat entry in the Guide.  Then, even it The Daily Show is tagged as New for repeat showings, these will be ignored.
Third, another channel may air reruns of the program in your series recording, and the first showing of a rerun episode on the other channel may be tagged as "New".  These can be ignored in your series if you set the series option "Channel" to "Selected Channel".  Related to this, if there is both an SD and HD channel broadcasting you series program, you will record them both if the series option "Duplicates" is set to "Yes".  However, when the Channel option is set to "Selected Channel", the Duplicates Option is always effectively "No", regardless of what shows up on the options screen.
As for you missing two minutes,  I have sereral instances in which two programs start recording at the same time.  To the best of my recollection, whenever the warning message has appeared, ignoring it has not caused a loss of recording time.  You might have an older software version.  Newest is v.1.8.  Look at Menu--Settings--System Info.  Or, I might not have noticed the loss of minutes.  I regularly see up to a minute of previous programming at the start of a recording, or a few missing seconds at the beginning or end of a recording.  There are a lot of possibilities for that, but the DVR clock being incorrect is not one of them.  With RCN, the DVR clocks occasionally drifted off by as much as a minute and a half.

    Dear Jayanti,
We required prorata basis pension in case of left employees and system is not doing this. This is the issue. As per our PF experts Pension amount should come on prorata basis for left employees in case they left mid of month.System is doing prorata basis last year but from this year it is deducting 541. I am giving two RT cases of different years.

  • Open PO Analysis - BW report issue

    Hello Friends
I constructed a query in BW in order to show Open Purchase Orders. We have custom DSO populated with standard
datasource 2lis_02_itm (Purcahse Order Item). In this DSO we mapped the field ELIKZ to the infoobject 0COMP_DEL
    (Delivery completed).
We loaded the data from ECC system for all POs and found the following issue for Stock Transport Purchase orders (DocType = UB).
We have a PO with 4 line items. For line items 10 and 20, Goods issued, Goods received and both the flags "Delivery
complete" and "Final delivery" checked. For line items 30 and 40, only delivery indicator note is issued for zero
quantity and Delivery complete flag is checked (Final delivery flag is not checked) in ECC system. For this PO, the
delivery completion indicator is not properly updated in the DSO for line items 30 and 40. The data looks like the
    following:
    DOC_NUM     DOC_ITEM       DOCTYPE     COMP_DEL
    650000001       10     UB        X
    650000001       20     UB        X
    650000001       30     UB
    650000001       40     UB
When we run the Open PO analysis report on BW side this PO is appearing in the report but the same is closed in ECC
    system.
Any help is appreciated in this regard.
    Thanks and Regards
    sampath

    Hi Priya and Reddy
       Thanks for your response.
Yes the indicator is checked in EKPO table for items 30 and 40 and delta is running regularly for more than 1 year and no issues with other POs. This is happening only for few POs of type Stock Transport (UB).
I already checked the changes in ME23N and the Delivery completed indicator was changed and it reflected in EKPO table. Further, i checked the PSA records for this PO and i am getting the records with the Delivery completed flag but when i update from PSA to DSO the delivery completed indicator is not updating properly.
In PSA, for item 30 i have the following entries. Record number 42 is capturing the value X for ELIKZ but after that i am getting two more records 43 and 44 with process key 10 and without X for ELIKZ. I think this is causing the problem.
Record No.    Doc.No.                    Item              Processkey         Rocancel     Elikz
        41               6500000001            30                    11                            X           ---
        42               6500000001            30                    11                            ---           X
        43               6500000001            30                    10                            X           ---
        44               6500000001            30                    10                            ---         ---
    (Here --- means blank)
    Thanks and Regards
