PowerPivot 2010 - When I try to filter data in a slicer, it doesn't work (too many characters?)

PowerPivot 2010 - When I try to filter data in a slicer (I click on a value in the slicer to filter data) and the value is above a certain amount of characters (255?), it doesn't work.
Is there a way to fix this?

Hello,
I can confirm, such long slicer values can cause issues. E.g. you can not select such an value with a simple mouse click, but if I remove the filter then I can use key "Ctrl" + mouse click combination to select/deselect such value.
The best way is to short such values.

Could you please help me quick, my iPad is restricting me from something.
I tried to go on YouTube many times on my favorite videos list and I get a message saying: you don't have permission to access the requested resource. I go to settings to see if anybody restricted me from YouTube and nobody did. I went to my friend's house and they have wifi. My iPad worked perfectly in YouTube. I went back to use my dad's iPad and after I watched some videos for a while, his stopped working on YouTube too. After then, I went back to my mom's house and the same thing happened. TO BOTH MY IPAD AND MY DAD'S! Is there something wrong with them? Please reply soon! :)I have the same issue. When I select a video from my favorites list (this is in the YouTube app—not through the Safari browser), I get the error message "You do not have permission to access the requested resource." My sister has said she has gotten the same message on her iPhone 3GS.
The work around is to kill the YouTube process (double press the home key to bring up the recent apps list, press and hold on the YouTube icon until the red minus sign appears, then tap on the minus sign). When you restart YouTube, it works.
However, invariably, the next day, when I try again, I get the same message, and have to kill YouTube again. -
The songs are downloaded into a music folder on my computer, they are legal downloads, but it won't let me bring it over to my iTunes library. When I click and drag it, they just never copy over.
I'm not sure? I'm new to lightroom and it's lightroom 5 that I'm using. What is happening is I go to develop the picture in the developing section in lightroom and it gives me this message that says " Develop module is disabled Please purchase a license to reactivate the develop module." When I try to export PPt slides to iPhoto, it doesn't work. Why?
After downloading iosx, whenever I try to export PPt slides (2011) to iPhoto I get the message that I need a newer version of iPhoto (6 or newer).
Does your PP presentation have anhy animation or music with it? If so you'll need to export it as a QT movie file and add that file to iPhoto.
If there is no animation or music or you can do without them try this: Here's how to get the slides into iPhoto as a jpeg file:
1 - in Power Point go to the mode where all pages are thumbnails and select all of the pages.
2 - type Command+P to start the print process.
3 - click on the PDF button and select "Save PDF to iPhoto".
NOTE: If you don't have any of those options go to Toad's Cellarand download these two files:
Save PDF to iPhoto 200 DPI.workflow.zip
Save PDF to iPhoto 200 DPI.workflow.zip
Unzip the files and place in the HD/Library/PDF Services folder and reboot.
4 - select either of the files above (300 dip is used for photos to be included in a book that will be ordered).
5 - in the window that comes up enter an album name or select an existing album and hit the Continue button.
That will create a 200 or 300 dpi jpeg file of the item being printed and import it into iPhoto.

How can I get my default email to work on my iPad? Gmail in my browser is fine, but I can't send anything if I am not in gmail. Why is my mail icon not working?
You probably messed up the password/ server set up. Delete the account from the pad, and re enter it. Pay real close attention to the password entry. Upper lower case etc. if they ask you for an optional name a second time, fill it in. G mail works fine on mine.

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine. -
I have backed up my old phone to itunes, however, when I try to restore data to my new phone it is saying the password is incorrect but I can get into my itunes account with my password so I am doing something wrong?

I have a new PC laptop with Windows 7 and Office 2010. I have an Airport Extreme, and installed Bonjour on my laptop. Bonjour "sees" my printer. When I try to print, the printer lights up -- but doesn't print. anyone have an idea? Thanks Gregg

Why its showing error : Invalid Object Name 'table name' when we try to insert data ?

When i try to insert data in the database with the following query

its showing following error Invalid Object Name 'good'Use 3-part naming like: MyDatabase.dbo.good(ID,Name) .
Also consider using stored procedure for database INSERTs.

When I try to lock data for an entity for 1 year, 1 month and 1 scenario I get the following message
"Cannot complete this action because calculations, translations, or consolidations need to be performed"
When I look in process control however everything is ok...In case it would have been validation thing the message would have read "validations need to be performed". Have you changes your metadata after uploading the balances in the system? If yes then, were there any journals that were posted with the deleted accounts. Does the consolidation happen completely?

You need to execute following statements:
grant select on schema <SCHEMA> to _SYS_REPO with grant option
Where <SCHEMA> is schema of tables used in the view definition.
(If you used several schemas - you need to do this for every schema.)

When I try to open a spreadsheet on my Mac that I worked on with my iPhone, I get "You need a newer version of Numbers to open this spreadsheet." When I go to the App store, it says I already have it. I have v. 2.3 and can't seem to download newer version.
If you are running Mavericks, and the Mac App store says you are up to date, then you have Numbers 3.2 as well as Numbers 2.3. You are getting the "Need a newer version message because your Mac is trying to open the document using Numbers 2.3.
Launch Numbers 3, then open the document from within that app, or right click/control-click the document and choose Open with Numbers 3.x.

Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
