Powerpoint as html

I am unable to link my powerpoint as an html file. I opened
it in powerpoint and saved it as a webpage. I am aware that when I
save this it savs the powerpoint.htm and a folder of files that
goes along with it. Could someone help me as to how I would go
about linking this. I have tried and It wont work. My webpage is
http://tiger.towson.edu/~ljohns2.
If you go to the group project page and click on the presentation
in HTML link you will see what comes up. THANKS!

> What would I change the names to, and what blank spaces
am I getting rid of?
http://tiger.towson.edu/~ljohns2/tech%20presentation2.htm
See the %20 that is replacing the BLANK SPACE?
rename it
anything_you_want_as_long_as_there_is_no_blank_space_or_punctuation
There may be some other problem also.
The link to the powerpoint .ppt file is only 68k.
It does open in the older copy of powerpoint i use on this
computer and
shows the slides, but i get a warning message that it uses
east asian fonts
that are not installed.
The powerpoint thing is just a series of text slides that
should be done as
a list in html probably.

  • Insert flash in PowerPoint

Can I create a flash in Captivate and then insert it on a

  • Embed Edge Animate animation into a Powerpoint presentation?

Is there a way to embed the animation I created into a Powerpoint presentation. My client wants a rather detailed animation and I know I can do it in Edge Animate, but how can they use it in their presentation? Is there any workaround for this? All help is really appreciated.

I don't think powerpoint supports html.
But you can insert video in slides.
So, better you create Edge Animate composition and preview in browser in fullscreen mode and use any screen capture software that will create a video out of it.
Then insert this video in the slides to have the animation.
    hope it helps,

  • PowerPoint and Java

Working with Powerpoint and Java it seems Apache POI is the way to go where I can convert powerpoint to html.
But the Apache POI site (http://poi.apache.org/slideshow/index.html) says:
"HSLF is the POI Project's pure Java implementation of the Powerpoint '97(-2007) file format. It does not support the new PowerPoint 2007 .pptx file format, which is not OLE2 based."
What do I use for PowerPoint 2007 .pptx?

Try some of these links that I got when doing a search:

  • Page appears different in browser

I am responsible for updating my company's website in dreamweaver and am having problems with the layout.  The main page is at this link: http://teom-bfms.faa.gov/.  If you are unable to see it, let me know and I'll send you a screenshot.  There are a few glitches with the layout but the thing that concerns me is the first column is much wider than the other two.  It looks fine in dreamweaver but is distorted in the Explorer browser view (that's what we use here).  I have attached the code to this email so I'm hoping someone can explain to me why it looks different in the browser than in Dreamweaver.  Just so you know, I'm a real novice when it comes to this so I may ask a lot of additional questions.
Anyway, here's the code for my page:

                <p align="center" class="style29">Lotus Notes Upgrade Launched</p>
<p align="left" class="style1">The Messaging Services team is eager to remind you that the Lotus Notes 8.0.2 upgrade was launched October 26th and will continue through April 30, 2010. As schedules develop and become available from each Line of Business (LOB), the <a href="https://ecenter.faa.gov/appspub/national/nd8webcommo.nsf/ND8Communications?OpenPage" class="style103"><u>ND8 Communications</u></a> site will be updated to reflect the changes. Remember that individual LOBs will control their own implementation schedules, so we encourage everyone to visit the site frequently and find out when the upgrade is happening in your area.</p>
<p align="left" class="style1">Now for the important stuff. In order to better prepare for this major upgrade, we highly encourage all employees to take training, especially our new and exciting user online training offerings! For those really excited enthusiasts, feel free to browse supplemental training links, web casts, sneak previews, and schedule updates available on the <a href="https://ecenter.faa.gov/appspub/national/nd8webcommo.nsf/ND8Communications?OpenPage" class="style103"><u>ND8 Communications</u></a> site.</p>
              <p align="left" class="style1">Meanwhile, let's take a moment to highlight some of the upcoming features...</p>
<p align="left" class="style1">As promised, the new Lotus Notes 8.0.2 software will offer an updated, more intuitive interface with embedded Sametime, conversation threads, in-line spell checking, and Sidebar features, just to name a few. You will encounter some major changes in the layout and experience new enhancements that simplify business processes.</p>
<p align="left" class="style1">One of the first noticeable changes is the new Sidebar tool located on the right side of the screen. The Sidebar displays embedded Notes applications and more importantly, fully integrates Sametime 8 within the Notes client. After the upgrade, you will no longer have to launch a separate Sametime client! Other helpful Sidebar applications include the Day-At-A-Glance feature which summarizes calendar entries in a single-day view, and the option to add RSS feeds.</p>
<p align="left" class="style1">Even for those who travel or work off-site, the new DWA-iNotes Lite version of web mail allows you to access email more quickly and efficiently. Easily switch to the full version, when your work requires more robust tools.</p>
<p align="left" class="style1">The wait is almost over, so be sure to take advantage of the available training and learn about the exciting benefits before everyone else. Experience the desktop of the future today! </p>

    Server Not Found.
Is this an intranet site?  Did you inherit this mess?  I don't mean to be rude or sarcastic but this code is terrible. I'm amazed that this is being used on a dot GOV server.  I suppose if the public can't see it, it doesn't matter to the FAA that this site is a web accessibility and maintenance nightmare.  100+ redundant .styles on a single web page.  That has to be a new record.   If this site were in my charge, I'd recommend a total rebuild.
Anyway, in an attempt to answer your question, 90% of display problems are code related.  Use the links below to check your code and fix all reported errors.

  • Is there a way to change the default image save to .jpg rather than.bmp?

Currently the default save is a .bmp file.  I do not see a way to change this in the <edit> <preferences> area.  Also is there a way to export/save a designated area on a pdf as a .jpg image file rather than the options given: Word, Exel, Powerpoint, .rtf, html, etc.  I currently have to take a snapshot (often clicking this twice) and then opening it in photoshop, then changing it to black and white (if needed) in order to save it as a .jpg

  • How to get the CSV,DATA output from RTF template

    Hi Jorge
    Thanks for your help.
as in the link you have given RTF template can have the output type CSV,DATA but in the preview i can see only html, powerpoint, pdf, html excel .
How to see the output in SCV,DATA format using my RTF template do i need to do specific design for those outputs.
    Thnaks in Advance

It is because it has been preconfigured with such outputs.
To modify and add more output types simply go to:
    1. Edit your Report
    2. Click on "View a List" (upper right hand corner)
    3. Click on the "output formats" (corresponding to your layout) and
    4. Check (add) the additional output formats you want your report to have.

  • Issue with PDF download

    Hi Guys,
I am facing problem with the PDF download option. In the answers request I have to use Pivot tables to display data and since these pivot tables do not provide the option of Table Headings, I resorted to HTML to get a similar output. The issue I am facing right now is when I print it through PDF or Powerpoint, the HTML code I have written comes up instead of the result. In the case of excel or answers, I am getting the proper output. Is there some setting I am missing?? I am using the column with the HTML coding in the Columns section of the pivot table.
    Thnx!

This is a known issue with HTML code embedded in your request, when you try to download the same in PDF, PowerPoint it will show the code.

  • Download reports showing the message-"image cannot display"

    Hi All,
I have designed several reports by using pivot tables and charts (line chart, bar chart,line-bar combo chart etc) and when I am trying to download the required reports into excel or powerpoint or html it downloaded but instead of charts ( only where used line-bar combo chart ) one message is displaying -- "image can not display" though its pivot table data is coming properly.
One more strange thing is also happening when i modified that chart to any other format ( like modify it to line chart or bar chart ) then its working properly.
