Powerpoint pictures on Mac computer

How can I view powerpoint pictures sent to me in e-mails on my mac computer

Hi,
If money is no object, simply buy [Microsoft Office 2008|http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/Office2008/default.mspx]. For a cheaper (as in free) alternative, try [OpenOffice|http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unixopensource/openofficeorg.html].

  • Transferring memory card pictures to mac computer

I am trying to take my pictures from my memory card and put them to  my mac desktop but can't figure out how.  When I put the memory card into the slot on the front of my HP Officejet 6500A Plus they pop up on the screen panel on the printer but how do I store them to my computer.  Thanks in advance for your help!

You can buy an adapter ( Walmart, Verizon, Target)  and put your SD card in it, then put the adapter in your PC. The pictures are on the SD (memory) card. Make sure you *** UNMOUNT ***  the SD card BEFORE you take it out. If you don't do this , it could result in you losing all your pictures.... it happened to me.
After you insert the adapter in the PC, go to START, then Computer, then click on SD card ( if it's not there , give it a minute) .  After you click on the SD card on the PC then click on DCIM  then Pana... this last sentence is how it is on my PC , it might be different on yours.
The adapter also comes with a SD (memory) card. There are different sizes. 1G 5G  etc....   Good Luck.... !

I have a Mac computer and am trying to use a Photoshop CS4 program, but after accessing my desktop files through Adobe Bridge and clicking twice on any of the pictures to get into Photoshop, instead of entering photoshop, I get on the lefthand side an enlarged version of the picture with red, yellow and green buttons on top. Any suggestions on what is wrong, or what can be corrected ?

And there is the problem. Your pictures are opening up in Mac's own Preview app.
Do you want all your jpegs to open in Photoshop, or only when you are in Bridge?
Selecting a program to open a certain file is called: File Type Association.
You can choose this at the MacOS level or the Bridge level.
    Here's how to do both:
Either MacOS or Bridge has the wrong app associated with the jpeg. Let's start with MacOS
Close Bridge and Preview. Select one of your jpegs, and press Cmd i, That will bring up the file info window.
Go down to the "Open with" section of File Info.
Choose Photoshop CS4 and click on the Change All... button to apply this choice to every jpeg on your Mac.
Then open Bridge and see if double-clicking opens it in Photoshop.
Now that means all jpegs on your Mac will open in Photoshop.  Maybe you don't want that.
You can set your jpegs to open in Preview when Bridge is closed.
When you open Bridge, there is Preferences > File Type Associations where you can direct Bridge to open the jpegs in Photoshop when you are viewing in Bridge.

    Hi Guys,
I have a problem with Importing Pictures onto my Mac mini with Lion installed by using a Card Reader,
What is the problem here so I can get Pictures onto my Computer. ,

    Hi Noob Søren
There are a few things that are confusing in your question.
As far as I know, you dont have to install Time Machine on this OS as it is already installed for you. You only need to connect a hard drive to your computer via firewire or usb, click on the Time Machine icon, Open Time Machine Preference in the drop down menu and select a disk: your connected hard drive.
You can of course reformat this connected device, partition it into a few volumes to organise data if you so wish.
I find it strange that your mac's hard drive is divided into two volumes... perhaps this was created through bootcamp?
You can access the configuration of your hd through Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilities.
Clicking on one of the icons on the right hand panel will bring the details of the contents of your hardDrive and volumes. From there you can decide to erase a partition, reformat etc....
If your hd contains more than one volume, and one of them is empty, you could decide to remove it. Back up all your important data before doing so.
    Hope this helps

  • I have a Mac computer and I edited my images in the Finder Pictures. I hit the enter button by mistake.  Now I want to transfer the images to Bridge.

I have a Mac computer and I edited my images in the Finder Pictures. Now. I want to transfer the edited images to Bridge.

Bridge is just a file browser.  It does not contain any photos inside the application itself.  Bridge will see and display your photos wherever you put them.
You cannot "transfer the edited images to Bridge".  That is wholly nonsensical.  Just use Bridge to navigate to your image files, wherever you put them.

  • How do I cut and paste a picture from the Internet to PowerPoint on a Mac?

HHow do I cut and paste a picture from the Internet to PowerPoint on a Mac?

Kind of depends on where the picture is. Usually you can just select it and if you can move it you can drop it onto the desktop.
You should always check usage rights when you use a picture off the Internet. If it's for a school project or personal then there should be no problem.
Pictures that require a royalty fee are usually marked.

  • I have an Ipad2 and cannot remember how to transfer pictures from my IPad to IPhoto on my Mac computer.  Could someone advise?

I have an Ipad2 and need to transfer pictures from it to my IPhoto app on my Mac computer.  Can you provide me simple instructions.

To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page -  if you connect the iPad to your Mac and open iPhoto then the it should recognise the iPad as a camera and allow you to copy those photos off.
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

This morning when I turned if back on it came up with a grey screen and a white box with a picture of the computer that says "setting up your Mac". It's been like this for an hour. The display box shows three check marks but it won't do anything. It's like its in a frozen mode

I'm having the same problem with iPhone 4 and MacBook Pro. I purposely separated my contacts on the phone from the Mac's address book, but am going to get a new iPhone 5 and I don't want to lose my phone contacts, so I wanted to be sure to sync to the Mac. Doesn't anyone have a solution?

  • Powerpoint on a windows computer.

so i made my powerpoint on my mac and i have to present it at school. the computer at school is a windows. how do i save it so it can work?
i have videos and pictures and im afraid that it is not going to work.
    please someone help me!
    thank you!
im going to burn it on a cd or transfer it on a jump drive.

If you are using MSOffice 2004 for Mac then simply save it as you would and MSOffice for Windows should open it up right away. If you have MSOffice 2008 for Mac then chances are that your school ahs not upgraded to that version yet so just Choose SAVE AS and save the presentation as Office 2004.
You mention that you have videos and pictures. There are times when presentations are opened on the Windows side and there is trouble with graphics and pictures etc. It does happen. You may want to test it on a windows PC before assuming that all will work fine.

Hello, I have a Mac computer with NVIDIA 750M dedicated graphics card and monitor EIZO but the problem was there when I was working with Windows and Acer monitor. When I open a file from Camera Raw in PS this is smaller than the screen so I double-click with the tool "hand" to fit on the screen, but the picture loses sharpness and becomes blurry. If you magnify the image even only slightly with the tool "zoom" the picture comes back clear. In Camera Raw instead is always sharp. I solve the problem by turning off the graphics card in PS but often use plugin that need the graphics card otherwise the processing time is much longer. I ask for help.
    Thanks.
