PowerShell ISE has stopped working on Win 8.1

I have Windows 8.1 with all updates.
I could launch powershell.exe but not the ISE. I could execute some of the powershell 2.0 codes but definitely not 3.0 or 4.0 codes.
Tried launching ISE with -noprofil, same error. Tried installing/uninstalling Powershell 5.0 May 2014 preview, no luck.

My TB has stopped working. Win 8.1

My OS is Win 8.1. My TB is 24.4.
It worked fine yesterday 03-18-2014, but today it just runs and runs, no errors, no retrieval of email.
I don't know what to look for or how to correct this extreme problem and have had to work with another email program that is not nearly as good as TB.
I have not added (as far as I know) any other program. There have been no notices of invasions to my OS.
I am not familiar with Win 8.1 protocols.

Still waiting for some new ideas please or maybe some action on the developers as it seams it is a general problem. Thanks

TS1489 itunes has stopped working in win 7

win 7 home premium on netbook fujitsu, had new hard drive installed
by techs at Fujitsu, since then 10.7 Itunes.exe does get this error message
whenever I try and play a podcast,
most times it plays music but podcast does not,
sometimes music as well,
i uninstalled and reinstalled ituens,
i changed compatibility to win 7
and still gets that error message, that windows
will try and come up with a solution?
what to do now?

just getting slow movement in the podcasts,
but at least it plays the podcasts and doesn't shut down.
Yeah, the workaround can sometimes degrade video performance, I'm afraid. Ultimately what's needed is a bug-fix update to iTunes to address this one. (The video content should be playing as it did with version 10.6.3.25.)
One other workaround that might be worth a try is launching your iTunes in Safe Mode and then trying to play the podcasts.

I am running a PowerShell GUI to enable a user's mailbox on Exchange and do other bits in AD. It keeps crashing after I try to action the script to a specific user.

I'm expreriencing the same conditions with the same environment. Windows 8, iTunes-64 11.1.2.32, iTunes Store with a processing bar up to 80 +/- and the POPUP MESSAGE OF "iTunes stopped working. The error ...."
I UNINSTALLED, iTUNES WITH NO POSITIVE RESULT. I CHECKED THE FIREWALL AND IS THE SAME DEFINITION AS THE PREVIOUS ITUNES VERSION.
My iTunes StoreS from my iPhones ARE OK.
I'm spending a lot of time of research for WINDOW'S iTUNE with no solutions....

Kdbsync.exe has stopped working - win 7 64 bit

I am running Win 7 64 bit on an HP Pafilion HPE h8-1360t. After last week's round of updates my computer will no longer play mp4 files, the Media Center will no longer come up (Message: "Windows Media Player has stopped working"), You Tube files will no longer play, the HP Magic Canvas also won't come up, and the mysterious message "kdbsync.exe has stopped working" comes up when I reboot.
After hours of reading forums, I have found that it appears to be related to the AMD grapics card update. My computer has an AMD Radeon HD 7570 card.
On the AMD site this is listed as a legacy card for XP computers. I am not sure why HP installed it in a computer running Win 7 64 bit with an Intel Core I7 CPU. This does not give me confidence in HP equipment.
The AMD utility correctly detected my card and told me that I needed a driver called:
14-4-win7-win8.1-64-dd-ccc-whql.exe
But when I clicked on the Down load button, I got the message, "Could not conntect to server. Could not parse error."
I did not find any such driver on your website.
How can I get my Media Center working again?

The idea of turning off all the non-Microsoft services scares me to death as I now have my computer running the way I want it to.
I also posted on the AMD forums as I had determined that their board was the offending piece of hardware:

Basically I had to uninstall all AMD drivers and sotware using Control Panel/Programs & Features and then run the AMD Clean Uninstall Program: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx

I would not recommend that you install this set of drivers unless you are SURE that they are correct for your hardware. I could not use the Steps 1-5 on the AMD site because the last step required that you pick the operating system that your hardware is running. The video card that HP installed in my "latest and greatest" computer of a year ago was so old that the only operating systems offered in step 5 were XP and Vista! Be aware that HP does use legacy hardware in its newest computers.

Powershell 4.0: Problem with error handling inside Eventhandlers - Powershell has stopped working

Hallo!
Please see the attached sample code. This code simply show a small WPF-Dialog.
Test 1 (showing the problem)
Simply run the program. You will see Powershell crashing "Powershell has stopped working".
The cause of this is the devision by 0 inside the Eventhandler.
We would normally expect, that the exception should be handled by the trap.
Test 2 (showing normal operation)
Simply remove the comment in line 28 ($i=1/0).
This activates an exception outside the Eventhandler. Now the Trap will be executed normally.
--> The exception can be handled by the Powershell Devloper.
Can anybody help? Why does the Error management via Trap not work inside Eventhandlers?

Get photoshop has stopped working error on Launch on my Win 8 pc

About two weeks ago I downloaded Adobe CC for students, my problem is that photshop is not working. When I start the program i get the following message:"photoshop has stopped working and needs to be closed, windows will tell you if there is any solution in the future" I have tried to re-install it twice, and I just updated the program.

Does this happen only with Photoshop CC or with other Adobe apps like InDesign CC & Illustrator CC?
What version of PS CC do you use?
Try updating to Win 8.1 and that should install all the required windows updates and then check the same.
You still want to install the video card driver from the manufacturer website, as already suggested by Chris, to be double sure that you have the right GPU drivers installed.
In case your PS still crash, check Event Viewer for the Faulty Module and let us know.

Look for "Error" in red color and check the Application name and faulty module.

Do you have the latest device drivers installed for your Display adapter? What does the Windows 8 crash reports show for the CS6 crashes. Were you able to get CS6 up long enough to install the CS6 updates. CS6 is the buggiest version of Photoshop Adobe ever released without the updates CS6 is not stable. I've installed Office 2007 with all the patches including SP3 on a new laptop with all Win 7 patches
I've had repeated problems with the Outlook has stopped working problem. At numerous attempts and roll backs I've managed to get a version which works (I think) by not inputting an email account. However when I set up the profile (via Outlook)
I get the message.

Might be, there is some issue which creating such kind of bugs and Outlook has been stopped. First open (run) MS-Outlook in Safe mode. To run Outlook in safe mode, follow these instructions:
1.) Open Run option by clicking on
the window button on the desktop.
2.) Enter or type the “Outlook.exe” in
the search box. Disable the all plugin which can create disturbance in Outlook.
