POWL based Queries not displaying
Hi
In MSS manager worklist I am getting the blank page without any Time Management Active Queries.
I am getting the screen as shown in screen(Blank Screen)
I want the output screen.
I know that when click on "Personalize" this can be achieved.
But I want when the link on Navigation page is click and the out should come with active queries.
Pravesh
check configuration in POWL_COCKPIT POWL_QUERY? whats the MSS role you are using? in standard it comes with active queries.

Keywords in topic-based index not displaying in application tab
We have a large binary index built from topic-based keywords.
The project itself is fairly substantial (2800+ topics), and the
.chm file produced works fine, index and all. However, only a small
fraction of the keywords display on the index tab of the RH
application.
Editing the rhakeyword.apj file doesn't seem to have any
effect. Right now, for example, the file in use is totally empty,
but the same subset of topics is displaying in RH.Monday morning update: Friday afternoon the reimporting of
topics seemed to be rebuilding the index. This morning, upon
reopening the project and resuming the process, the topics I was
importing stopped registering on the index tab. Attempting to add
them manually, though, resulted in the "topic already exists"
message.
Further testing: I added several hundred topics Friday,
nothing shows in the rhkkeyword.apj file. All of a sudden today RH
is adding index entries there.
This is getting silly. -
WRT54G Problem - Web based setup not displaying
Anyone else had a problem like this?
I've used Mozilla and IE, but I don't actually get anything appearing aside from the basic page layout of the setup page after I log in.
It loads and everything - IE says there's an error on page; but i get hardly any information off the page. I can't even click any of the (where I assume they would be - anyway) links so I can update my firmware.I have actually got a similar problem. Router work staright out of the box but it is impossible to access the configuration web page. IE or Mozilla just simply cannot access the page as if it did not exists.
I have tried a hard reset and this launched successfully the firmware management mode, I flashed it wit latest version (I got a v5), to no avail.
Any ideas (firewall is off, javascript is enabled) ? -
Is there a way of not displaying entries in the Blog based on today's date
Hi,
I'm using the Blog layout in iWeb for a calendar.
Somewhere in this discussion forum, I found how to sort the entries by increasing date (many thanks for that).
The question I have: Is there a way of not displaying entries in the Blog overview of which the date is in the past ?
ThanksHi Cyclosaurus,
the link you refer to (http://test.cyclosaurus.com/Site/Blog/Blog.html) seems to be broken. I can't see the script.
Can you sent me a script to automatically hide events from the past (based on today's system date) ?
please note that I use following script to reverse the summary (which i found in the discussion forum):
<script type='text/javascript'>
function reverseSummary() {
blogSummaryWidget = parent.document.getElementsByClassName('com-apple-iweb-widget-blogSummary flowDefining')[0].widget;
blogEntries = blogSummaryWidget.blogFeed.itemCount();
blogSummaryWidgetID = blogSummaryWidget.instanceID;
blogSummaryContentDiv = parent.document.getElementById(blogSummaryWidgetID + '-summary-content');
if (blogSummaryContentDiv.childNodes.length > 0) {
for (be=1; be<blogEntries; ++be) {
bi = (blogEntries - 1) - be;
blogSeparator = parent.document.getElementById(blogSummaryWidgetID + ('-separator-template$' + bi));
blogSummaryContentDiv.appendChild(blogSeparator);
blogEntry = parent.document.getElementById(blogSummaryWidgetID + ('-item$' + bi));
blogSummaryContentDiv.appendChild(blogEntry);
clearInterval(chkSummary);
chkSummary = setInterval('reverseSummary()', 1000);

Unposted values are not display in input-ready queries - BRAIN 485
Hi experts,
After installing the support package level from "7.00 SP16" to "7.00 SP21" we meet an issue in our input-ready queries.
When we use the setting "Access Type for Result Values" according to master data in a query with time characteristics in columns, the system error BRAIN 485 occurs & no cells are not displayed.
Any idea ?
Thanks in advance,
LaurentHi raj,
Thanks for your reply.
Please tell me with which BEx patch you have faced this issue.
We are on BI7.0 SP 19.
Thanks.

Icons files will not displaying when running web-based forms locally
My icon files (jpgs) are not displaying from within Forms Developer 10g or when I run the web-based forms from within Developer. I have tried the following without success:
6.4 Deploy Icons for Forms Running on Web
Option One: For Running Web Based Forms from Within the Forms Builder in Oracle 10g Developer Suite
1) Copy all the icon image files (*.jpg) to the directory of <Oracle_10g_Developer_Suite_Installation_Root_Dir>\forms\j2ee\formsapp\formsweb\icons
2) Make sure to set imageBase=DocumentBase in the file < Oracle_10g_Developer_Suite_Installation_Root_Dir >\forms\server\formsweb.cfg.
3) Edit the < Oracle_10g_Developer_Suite_Installation_Root_Dir >\forms\java\oracle\forms\registry\Registry.dat file, specify the icon image file extension by modifying the following line:
default.icons.iconepath=icons/
default.icons.iconextension=jpg
Save this Registry.dat file.
4) Restart the OC4J Instance.
5) Launch the form from Forms Builder.
I just got a new laptop and am setting everything up again. I have everything setup the same way as on my old machine (same as above). It worked fine on my old computer but not on the new one.hi

Fluid grid with added media queries not working with {display: none}
Fluid grid layout using added media queries to fix break points will not use {display:none} properly. When I try to hide a div in moble view it hides the div in all views. I was able to hide the div using width: 0% which works in all browsers except for Safari.
Here is the css

View Column info not displaying in Columns Tab
Running XP SP2 and SQL Developer 1.5.1 5440
When looking at views that are using tables from another schema. I don't see any of the columns information. I have DBA role
In rel 1.1.2.25 2579 I see them just fine. (Both loaded on machine right now)
Is this a bug or do I have a setting problem?Barry,
As a "disclaimer", the points below are based on my usage of SQL Developer and things that bug me about how it works or doesn't work - I know that there are more important things to fix than a number of these.
On to the basics ... and the most basic of the basics for a tool like SQL Developer:
1) Problems with data dictionary queries in navigator or object tabs:
- Triggers not listed in Table tab if trigger owned by different schema to table owner
- Index columns not listed in Table tab if index owned by different schema to table owner
- View columns not listed in View tab if view owned by different schema to current user
- Dependencies not listed in Table/View tab if other object owned by different schema to object owner
- Performance of Table Node (outer join added in 1.5.1)
- there are a lot of other posts about the supplied data dictionary queries not producing the right results and I often find that I am querying the data dictionary directly in a SQL Worksheet for information that should be correct in the navigator/object tabs
Basic things that I expect to work in a tool like SQL Developer (or to work given that they have been included):
1) Popup Describe problems
- schema name is case sensitive, so doesn't find owner.object
- synonym overrides schema name (OWNER.OBJECT will describe local OBJECT synonym instead of OWNER's object)
- position based object name selection includes punctuation
2) Bind variables that work properly in PL/SQL (both Execute Statement and Run Script)
3) Package decomposition in object navigator doesn't report variables or constants of custom types and lists object.column%type constants as "constant"
4) Exporting query results re-executes query to display Export dialog - this presents as SQL Developer freezing after selecting the Export menu option for queries that take a long time for first record to appear
I would use SQL Developer more (or more of SQL Developer) if:
1) More integrated file based development - I still do the bulk of my object creation (largely PL/SQL and views) editing in Wordpad and running via SQL*Plus largely because I get better error reporting.
- display the compile message tab when using the compile button for a file
- show errors doesn't work for views
2) Running Reports hang SQL Developer - I still have my SQL scripts for my common queries, which I can run through SQL Worksheet in a much friendlier fashion (I can cancel them and they don't hang SQL Dev) than I can run reports
Problems that detract from the "polish" of SQL Developer, but don't really have a big impact on usage but discourage me from trying to "convert" non-techie TOAD using colleagues:
1) Multiple TNSNAMES files read - generates multiple entries
2) Export of long string literals causes ORA-972 error
3) "Statement Processed" feedback is extremely sensitive to spaces ("create Statement Processed" where two spaces between the create and view keywords) and assumes simple statements ("create unique Statement Processed" or "create or replace force Statement Processed" as examples)
I think that makes 10 basics to fix (although some as just issues that make the tool look unpolished), however, it does seem as though testing in the following areas could be significantly better:
1) Regression testing - a number of bugs seem to crop up again after being fixed in earlier versions
2) Navigator/object tab queries - especially with multi-schema applications (ie Oracle eBusiness Suite) and just generally objects owned by other schemas
3) Performance with large DBs in terms of object count (ie Oracle eBusiness Suite)
As a final note, it is my impression that SQL Developer development has been unbalanced in focusing too much on including new functionality (which is good) and not enough on getting existing functionality right (which is better).
I hope this helps (and wasn't too long) ...

Explorer Measure Values does not display as in BW
I have developed some of the explorer reports based on BW queries. The Measure values display correctly in BW query , but the value is not displayed correctly in explorer if I add multiple dimensions in the Info space
If I add only one dimension Eg:- Calender Year in infospace the result of the explorer matches with the BW query but if I add mor ethat 1 dimesnion , if I have added Region , Country to the infospace and then drill down the result by any of teh dimesion the result does not match
ThanksHi Merhan,
Yes, that would probably solve the problem. However I do want the actual <pattern> to be in there to access it in JavaScript. -
DataGrid does not display XML data
Hello, and thanks for reading this...
I am having a problem displaying XMLList data in a DataGrid.
The data is coming from a Tree control, which is receiving it
from a database using HTTPService.
The data is a list of "Job Orders" from a MySQL database,
being formatted as XML by a PHP page.
If it would be helpful to see the actual XML, a sample is
here:
http://www.anaheimwib.com/_login/get_all_orders_test2.php
All is going well until I get to the DataGrid, which doesn't
display the data, although I know it is there as I can see it in
debug mode. I've checked the dataField property of the appropriate
DataGrid column, and it appears correct.
Following is a summary of the relevant code.
...An HTTPService named "get_all_job_orders" retrieves
records from a MySQL database via PHP...
...Results are formatted as E4X:
HTTPService resultFormat="e4x"
...An XMLListCollection's source property is set to the
returned E4X XML results:
...The "order" node is what is being used as the top-level of
the XML data.
<mx:XMLListCollection id="jobOrdersReviewXMLList"
source="{get_all_job_orders.lastResult.order}"/>
...The "jobOrdersReviewXMLList" collection is assigned to be
the dataProvider property of a Tree list, using the @name syntax to
display the nodes correctly, and a change event function is defined
to add the records to a DataGrid on a separate Component for
viewing the XML records:
<mx:Tree dataProvider="{jobOrdersReviewXMLList}"
labelField="@name"
change="jobPosForm.addTreePositionsToDG(event)"/>
...Here is the relevant "jobPosForm" code (the Job Positions
Form, a separate Component based on a Form) :
...A variable is declared:
[Bindable]
public var positionsArray:XMLList;
...The variable is initialized on CreationComplete event of
the Form:
positionsArray = new XMLList;
...The Tree's change event function is defined within the
"jobPosForm" Component.
...Clicking on a Tree node fires the Change event.
...This passes an event object to the function.
...This event object contains the XML from the selected Tree
node.
...The Tree node's XML data is passed into the positionsArray
XMLList.
...This array is the dataProvider for the DataGrid, as you
will see in the following block.
public function addTreePositionsToDG(event:Event):void{
this.positionsArray = selectedNode.positions.position;
...A datagrid has its dataProvider is bound to
positionsArray.
...(I will only show one column defined here for brevity.)
...This column has its dataField property set to "POS_TITLE",
a field in the returned XML record:
<mx:DataGrid width="100%" variableRowHeight="true"
height="75%" id="dgPositions"
dataProvider="{positionsArray}" editable="false">
<mx:columns>
<mx:DataGridColumn width="25" headerText="Position Title"
dataField="POS_TITLE"/>
</mx:columns>
</mx:DataGrid>
In debug mode, I can examine the datagrid's dataProvider
property, and see that the correct XML data from the Tree control
is present. However, The datagrid does not display the data in any
of its 6 columns.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks for your time.Hello again,
I came up with a method of populating the DataGrid from the
selected Item of a Tree Control which displays complex XML data and
XML attributes. After the user clicks on a Tree branch, I call this
function:
public function addTreePositionsToDG(event:Event):void{
//Retrieve all "position" nodes from tree.
//Loop thru each Position.
//Add Position data to the positionsArray Array Collection.
//The DataGrid dataprovider is bound to this array, and will
be updated.
positionsArray = new ArrayCollection();
var selectedNode:Object=event.target.selectedItem;//Contains
entire branch.
for each (var position:XML in
selectedNode.positions.position){
var posArray:Array = new Array();
posArray.PK_POSITIONID = position.@PK_POSITIONID;
posArray.FK_ORDERID = position.@FK_ORDERID;
posArray.POS_TITLE = position.@POS_TITLE;
posArray.NUM_YOUTH = position.@NUM_YOUTH;
posArray.AGE_1617 = position.@AGE_1617;
posArray.AGE_1821 = position.@AGE_1821;
posArray.HOURS_WK = position.@HOURS_WK;
posArray.WAGE_RANGE_FROM = position.@WAGE_RANGE_FROM;
posArray.WAGE_RANGE_TO = position.@WAGE_RANGE_TO;
posArray.JOB_DESCR = position.@JOB_DESCR;
posArray.DES_SKILLS = position.@DES_SKILLS;
positionsArray.addItem(posArray);
So, I just had to manually go through the selected Tree node,
copy each XML attribute into a simple Array, then ADD this Array to
an ArrayCollection being used as the DataProvider for the DataGrid.
It's not elegant, but it works and I don't have to use a Label
Function, which was getting way too complicated. I still think that
Flex should have an easier way of doing this. There probably is an
easier way, but the Flex documentation doesn't provide an easy path
to it.
I want to thank you, Tracy, for the all the help. I checked
out the examples you have at www.cflex.net and they are very
helpful. I bookmarked the site and will be using it as a resource
from now on. -
Hi Experts,
I have successfully run my scenario CSV-pi-Idoc yesterday. IN MOni XML file is Ok. In R/3side (WE05) Idoc generated successfully. But Yesterday night Basis people change R/3 password. Now my problem is in R/3 IDOC not displayed in WE02.
Iam also change password in SM59. But no result. Where can I do changes. can any one help me.
Thanks
HariHi Hari,
Make sure in SXMB_MONI in your PI system the message is showing successful flag in outbound side (ie.. drag the scroll bar to ur right had side and see if you can see checkered flag). If you see any error then go to tcode sm58 (trfc queue) and filter based on dates and u will find error logs in detail and take appropriate action.
Mostly it might be authetication problem so better to check in ur R/3 destination in Sm59 in PI system if your rfc test and authentication test is successfully showing green or not.
Thanks,
Prasanthi. -

Do your fields in the internal table reference dictionary objects or elementary types? If not using dictionary types, the column names will be blank by default. If you can't change your fields to be dictionary types, you can try this to change the column names:
I made a method inside my local class to add the names:
call method set_colname
EXPORTING iv_tab = alv_tab
iv_colid = 'xxxx' "fieldname from the table
iv_stxt = text-t54
iv_mtxt = text-t55
iv_ltxt = text-t55.
METHOD set_colname .
data:
alv_cols type REF TO cl_salv_columns_table,
alv_col type REF TO cl_salv_column.
TRY .
*... Change fieldnames
call METHOD iv_tab->get_columns RECEIVING value = alv_cols.
call method alv_cols->get_column EXPORTING columnname = iv_colid RECEIVING value = alv_col.
IF iv_stxt <> ''.
CALL METHOD alv_col->set_short_text EXPORTING value = iv_stxt.
ENDIF.
IF iv_mtxt <> ''.
CALL METHOD alv_col->set_medium_text EXPORTING value = iv_mtxt.
ENDIF.
IF iv_ltxt <> ''.
CALL METHOD alv_col->set_long_text EXPORTING value = iv_ltxt.
ENDIF.

Error raised using 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT' not displayed in Web UI
Hello,
I have implemented the badi CRM_ORDERADM_H_BADI and based on certain conditions i raise an exception and display the error message using function module 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT'. The application log is populated with the error message and I am able to see the error message in SAP GUI . However when the same transaction is triggered via WebUI , even thought the exception is raised , the error message is not displayed.
I know i can use the method ADD_MESSAGE of the class CL_CRM_GENIL_GLOBAL_MESS_CONT if i want the error message to be displayed in Web UI .
However I want the message to be displayed either if the transaction is run from the SAP GUI or web UI .
Have anyone come across the similar situation , is there something I am missing.
Thanks & Regards ,
Sriram.Hello Arun ,
I got the solution . The error message was raised properly . The problem is message filter at every view or viewset of a component is actually switched off by default.With standard components the filter gets activated at runtime if the component controller contains a BOL entity.
In our case , since it was a custom component with no BOL entity the filter was switched off and hence the messages from the application level were not read.
Therefore we redefined the filter method IF_BSP_WD_STATE_CONTEXT~GET_MESSAGE_FILTER at the view/viewset level and turned on the filter by default.hence even if the component does not return an entity the message filter gets activated.
Thanks for your inputs.
Thanks & Regards,
Sriram -
Form does not display all records from table
Hi guys
I modified one form that was based on a signle DB table. I removed certain fields from the table and added some extra fields to that table. Then based on the new table I also modified the form and removed the text items related to old fields in the table and added new text items pointing to the new fields now. II have checked all the new items properties and they have don't seem to be wrong or so. But now the problem is the form does not display all the records from the table. before it used to display all records from the table when qureied but not now. It only certain records from the table containing all new data and also old data but the form does not display other records though I don't see any obvious discrepancy. Remember that the before doing the modifications, I have table back for the old, created another table that contained new records for the new fields, and then I inserted the old records and updated the new table data in the new table with these new table values. So this way I have got my new table. Could someone help why the new modified form fails to display all records from the new table updated table though it display some of them successfully.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thankshi
Set the block property of "Query All Records" to "YES"
hope it will work.
