  • POWL configuration not activating

    Hello Experts,
    In SRM 7.0 configuration Define Query Visibility at Role Level, I have unchecked the active field for all queries with a POR category. I assumed this would remove this query from the users portal screen. It is still appearing.
    I have also through configuration Define Default Query checked the 'Hidden" box for some query selection criteria settings. I assumed this would hide the criteria from users in the selection screen.
    Is this the correct way to format POWL queries so that they apply to all users? If so, what am I doing wrong that it isn't taking effect?

  • Not able to fetch workitem from Multiple system ( version 4.6c ) in POWL Configuration

    Hi Experts,
    i am configuring SAP POWL in my EHP 6 System and i am able to get work-items from same system but i am not able to get from multiple system which version is 4.6c.below steps are already done.
    1.Create RFC Destination ( destination working fine )
    2.in SPRO,Cross-Application Components ->Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Inbox -> Assign Connected Back-End Systems to Inbox
         Added Destination for Old system 4.6c
    3.Create Exception Entry for that
    4.Business function FND_IBO_MULTIBE_1 activated
    5.Assigned below roles to respective users
    SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_INB_API_END_USR
    SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_INB_API_SRV_USR
    6.Added respective Task IDs in SPRO -> inbox- >Assign Task IDs to POWL Types
    Please help if i any config are missing.

  • Auto Refresh work items in POWL iview

    Hi Experts,
    We are using EP 7.3 and ECC 6.0 EHP 5. MSS add-on 1.0
    We are using MSS Inbox as POWL.
    When we processed any work item in Inbox, the same work item still appearing (after approve) in inbox. When we click on "Refresh" link the approved work item is disappearing. Every time click on "Refresh" link is difficult.
    Link to refresh work task items is available but user requires this to be done automatically upon processing of an item.

    I appreciate your help. I checked POWL configuration SPRO-->Cross-Application Components --> Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications --> Inbox --> Define Tasks and Actions --> Create or Change Actions
    here refresh type is empty.
    I Changed Refresh type to "OPTIMISTIC".
    changes are reflected in table IBO_C_WF_ACC
    Not in table IBO_C_WF_ACS
    do i need to change the Refresh type in Standard table IBO_C_WF_ACS also?
    issue is not fixed after changed in Refresh type also. please let me know if i missed any step?
    Issue: Manager approving Travel request in MSS inbox using POWL. when Manager clickes Task new window will open to approve/Reject. when he approved, the work item is not refreshed until click on "Refresh" link in POWL inbox.

  • Additinal Fields in POWL Search Criterea for RFx

    Hi,
    We want to add a column in the POWL result and a new field in the search criteria in SRM 7.0
    We are able to add column in POWL result after adding a field in structure /SAPSRM/S_SEARCH_RESULT_BID and confguration in the T-code
    /SAPSRM/POWL_CUST. For search criteria we have added same field in the structure. /SAPSRM/S_SEARCHFIELDS but we are unable to bring that field in the search criteria.
    Please help.

    Hi,
    After changing any POWL configuration . Below are the two important points.
    1.  After changing the POWL Feeder configuration within transaction /SAPSRM/POWL_CUST all queries of the changed Feeder must be refreshed (deleted) using report  POWL_D01
    2. After changing the POWL Feeder Type within transaction POWL_TYPE all queries of the changed Feeder must be
        refreshed (deleted) using report  POWL_D01.
    after changing the search criteria try to execute the report for one user and check for that user in portal.

  • POWL for Staff

    Hi Experts,
    We have requirement that Staff Administrator should able to approve leave request. We would like to use POWL for this. Currently we have assigned roles as follows:
    Web Dynpro Applicat.    IBO_WDA_INBOX
    Application Config.     MANAGER_MSS_WDAC_POWL_INBOX
    Problem with this role, it assigns other tasks like Working Time, Task Monitoring etc. We don't want to display these to the staffing administrator. Is there any way we can get rid of this? We just want Leave Request tab for staffing administrators.

    I am using POWL with OBN in a Porta Custom role. The issue is that wether selecting the leave request from both query MSS_POWL_LEA_APPROVAL or MANAGER_MSS_INBOX_WI_QUERY, the system always select the same leave request.

    can you check with standard role for a moment does it work, ie use the same configuration as the the standard one and then compare the HTTPtrace and see if WI ID is being passed you are not passing WI ID as manager_mss_inbox_2?     Hello,
    you mix two concepts which make difficult to understand your request.
    Screen-shot you gave us in from the Portal (Tasks, Alerts, Notifications and so on...).
    With Enterprise Portal, to approve Workitems, your inbox (SBWP transaction) is the Universal WorkList.
    With NetWeaver Business Client, you use Personal Object Work List to have access to your inbox.
    In this last case, you have to switch the Portal-Independent Navigation Frame (IMG: SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Web Application Server > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Technical Basic Settings > Portal-Independent Navigation Frame > Activate/Deactivate Portal-Independent Navigation Frame) on.
    If you connect to SRM through Portal, you cannot use POWL as inbox.

      One of the ways you can test any ABAP Webdynpro POWL,is by adding the same to the favorites and executing the same.
    Choose Favourites > Add other objects. Scroll down and choose "Webdynpro application". Then in the webdynpro application enter "POWL" ,Enter description for specific POWL and then for parameter enter "APPLID" and the appropriate POWL Application ID for the same (Ex for MP POWL OPS-MP-POWL-OVERVIEW).

    I have configured PO in POWL and able to see tasks list in POWL.But when I am trying to open any PO workitem I am getting error.

    I have not copied or customized Business object.But I have created POWL Inbox as a separate new iview using the below details,
    Application Name : IBO_WDA_INBOX
    Configuration Name: HRMSS_AC_POWL_INBOX
    System : SAP_ECC_HumanResources
    Please let me know if we have to Launch PO workitem from our Inbox what iview has to be triggered.
    Can we find out that?

  • MRS (Multi Resource Scheduling) Assignment reporting (POWL)

    We are implementing SAP Multiresource Scheduling (9.0 SP1) for one of our clients.We are working with the MRS RM webrequest application to create the MRS requests and we assign candidates and create assignments in the MRS planning board. We create both soft-bookings and hardbookings to support the outsourcing processes.
    Now we would like to use the standard MRS reporting tools (POWL) which are available in the WebRequest application. However the assignment report returns no data. (0 records). This is strange because we have a lot of assignments created in the MRS planning board.
    According to the documentation I checked and changed the following settings.
    Check if the business function was activated (OPS_SME_SIMP_01)
    Create a profile ID within the configuration “Define Data Selection for Resource Assignment List” and mark relevant datasets
    Assign this profilIe ID to the Planboard profile
    Check if planboard profile is determined for the selected organizational unit.
    However the report still returns no data.
