PP CC 2014 crash on launch

Hey guys,
I recently purchased and installed PremierePro succesfully. The first day I could use it without problems, everything went fine.
Later on I was unable to get it started as it crashed upon launch. It says "PP stopped working"...Windows is looking for a solution.
At first I tried to restart pc which helped, program was launched and worked. Later on when I tried to launch again it crashed, restart helped again.
One day after the problem still persists but restart does not help anymore, I can't get the software run. I tried to reinstall it but still no success.
I use Win 7 Enterprise. What could be the problem here?

Adobe Indesign CC 2014 crash on launch

Hi I use this program as well as photoshop, illustrator and muse on a near-constant daily basis. Indesign has suddenly started crashing on launch - the rest of the apps still operate without issue.
I've restarted, reinstalled indesign, disabled all fonts except system fonts - not too sure what the deal is but will need this up and running again asap.
Only significant change that's happened today is I updated a Sony game.

Indesign 2014 crashes on launch

Starting today, when I launched InDesign 2014, the program crashes.
I have tried the following:
1. Restart my PC running windows 7 computer.
2. Shut down and restart my PC running windows 7 computer.
3. Sign out of Creative Cloud.
4. Sign back into Creative Cloud.
5. Launch program
All of these and versions of me launching the program after every scenario (except #5) has done nothing to resolve the issue of the application crashing when launching.

Start by making sure the InDesing Recovery folder is empty. If there's corrupt recovery data ID will never launch. If that doesn't solve it, next step, judging from the crash report, is SING Removal

Vectorworks 2014 crashes on launch

I have installed Vectorworks 2014 but it crashed on launch. Their support team suggested I create a new user and try to launch from there which worked. There is something in my user account that won't allow Vectorworks to launch but I can't find what. The only thing that the support team can suggest is that I delete my user account and use the new one. As this is a business, I have so many applications set up that it would be a lot of work and not something I would like to do. Any suggections please?

Premiere Pro CC 2014 crash on launch?

Hi,
I have been running Premiere Pro CC V7.2.2 for several months with no problems. I just installed V8 (CC 2014) and it crashes every time on launch.
The splash screen appears and then the message 'premiere has quite unexpectedly' with the option to send a report.
Premiere CC V7.2.2 still launches OK.
I have tried the following but V8 CC 2014 still crashes:
Restarted my mac
Signed out and signed back into the Creative cloud app
Checked that my user account has read& write access to adobe prefs
Updated CUDA driver (6.0.51)
Updated OSX
Reset Premiere Pro Prefs by trashing the folder : Documents>Adobe>AdobePremiere Pro>8.0
Clear Plugin cache - hold down the SHIFT key while starting PR
Changed Energy saver to use ONLY high performance graphics

After Effects CC 2014 - Crash on launch

At first - I've read all topics with that problem , and it doesn't work correctly.
I bought After Effects as Single Application yesterday. And I'm very sad, because of this problem. Can anyone help me?
I've tried this - CC Applications crash immediately after launch . It did not make any difference.
I can see the work space of After Effects at start for a slit second before crash. And then my window are makins smaller with crash. But it doesn't save any crash logs. I tried to fix it.
I've reinstalled program something about 5-6 times. I used Cleaner Tool too...

What exact version of After Effects? Include the minor version number---e.g., After Effects CC (12.2.1) or After Effects CS6 (11.0.4). Do not just say "After Effects with the latest updates" or "After Effects CC"; give the specific version number.
Have you installed the recent updates? (If not, you should. They fix a lot of problems.)
What operating system? This should include specific minor version numbers, like "Mac OSX v10.6.8"---not just "Mac".
If you are getting error message(s), what is the full text of the error message(s)?
What were you doing when the problem occurred? What is the exact sequence of steps that you are taking?
Has this ever worked before? If this worked before by doesn't work now, what has changed on your computer in the intervening time?
Tell us about your computer hardware. Include CPU type and number of processor cores, amount of RAM installed, GPU, number and sizes of connected monitors, number of disk drives, and how any external drives are connected.
What versions of drivers for your graphics hardware do you have installed (including CUDA driver and driver for display adapter)?

Do you have any third-party effects or codecs installed?
Are you using OpenGL features in After Effects?
Does the problem only happen with your final output, RAM preview, or both?
Are you using Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously multiprocessing?
Are you using the ray-traced 3D renderer?
If the problem is with output, give your exact output settings (both render setting and output module settings). Screenshots help.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 crashes upon launch

Everytime I open premiere it says "Adobe premiere cc 2014 has stopped working." Also "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly."
Ive searched far and wide through threads..
Ive updated my graphics drivers.
Ive updated chip stuff.
Ive done windows update and all that.
STILL NOTHING!! PLEASE HELP

Exactly what version are you on? There are now three releases of CC2014.
Have you tried clearing your preferences? Clearing the cache files?
What third-party plugins are installed, if any? How about codecs?
Does it crash while the splash screen is up or after the welcome screen or after the project loads?
Is Windows 7 Service Pack 1 applied. (I know you said that you updated Windows, but it's worth being very specific here.)
A log file might help identify the cause of the crash. Please right-click 'My Computer', select "Manage," look under 'Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application' to see if there's an event there from Premiere Pro. If so, copy the contents of that log and paste them here.

Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Crashing on Launch

I recently became a subscriber and installed the program but when it opens it immediately says it has stopped working and crashes. There is no error information available, only a box that says that Microsoft will advise me of any solution to the problem. Then nothing. Photoshop is the prime reason I am subscribing to the CC. My OS is Microsoft 8. Please advise

Illustrator CC 2014 Crashing on Launch (error -1712)

After installing Illustrator CC 2014 on an iMac running OS 10.7.5, it won't open. An error pops up that says, "Illustrator CC 2014 can't be opened. -1712".
Any ideas why this would be happening? I have two other iMacs running the same program on the same operating system without any problems.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software ... it works for 1-2 days, then stops opening again.

Premiere CC 2014 (8.0) crashes on launch Mac OS X

I've been trying to fix this for weeks. I'm pretty frustrated at this point.
The latest version of Premiere Pro CC 2014 crashes at launch on my 2010 15" MBP with 8gb ram.
It bounces for a while, then I see the splash screen, which seems to hang at "Loading ImporterQuicktime.bundle" and then crashes.
Please help! I've looked on a bunch of forums and none of the answers (changing permissions, updating, reinstalling, etc.) seem to fix my problem.

Could you go to Premiere Pro > About Premiere Pro and let us know if you are on version 8.2? A lot of people say "Premiere Pro CC 2014" but there are 3 versions of that right now. I know you said "the latest," but I want to be sure.

Did you see this one? Premiere Pro CC, CC 2014, or 2014.1 freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later)

You may try the list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media, see below. You may have tried/done some of them already; 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you may find the folder here:

5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);

6) Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Adobe Muse CC 2014 keeps crashing on launch

My version of Adobe Muse CC 2014 keeps crashing on launch. I have tried to reinstall it a few times but this keeps happening.
When I open a project, it works untill I close down the project, I get the following message:

Very strange. Let's rename the Recovery folder and see if that avoids this error. The "Recovery" folder is in:
Mac: "~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1/Local Store" (copy and paste into the Go > Go To Folder dialog in the Finder)
Windows: "%appdata%/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1/Local Store" (copy and paste into a file explorer window)
In both cases above, include everything between the quotes (including the tilde ~ on the Mac and the percent symbols % on Windows) in the copy/paste, but not the quotes themselves.
Rename the Recovery folder and relaunch Muse. Does that avoid the error? If so, I'd be grateful if you'd send us the renamed Recovery folder at muse-support along with a link to this thread for context.
If not, let's go up two levels in the folder structure and rename the entire "com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1" folder. Doing that will cause Muse to generate a new one from scratch. Does that avoid the error? If so, I'd like to get a copy of the renamed folder.
If not, we'll have to explore some other options.

Illustrator 2014.2 with Esko plugins crashes on launch

I "accidentally" installed the 2014.2 update of the CC apps. Since then, Illustrator crashes on launch saying "An unexpected error occurred (4294967188)..." and quits. I have the common Esko plugins installed (Studio, Dynamic Content, Studio Visualizer) Packaging designers - be aware - don't update to 2014.2 !!! I am going to switch to a different Mac running 2014.1 - and remember not to ever change a running system. This, my friends, seems to be the only solution. I faced so many problems with CC in the past few weeks and months making it nearly impossible to keep business running. I really have to say that I am absolutely disappointed by Adobe, its policy - focusing on everything that is touchable - that shiny, pinky IOS touchy apps and forgetting about us professionals, who once relied on a stable platform that was called Apple+Adobe (and worked really fine, several decades ago)

Monika, to be honest I really don't know, but I even didn't think about that as it was a "sub level" update, not something going from Illustrator CC to Illustrator CC 2014. But this doesn't seem to be an issue any more. After a few hours of sleep I decided to uninstall and re-install CC 2014. I was very surprised about the fact that there was no sign of an available update to Illustrator CC 2014.2 any longer (only Illustrator CC 2014.1). I definitively swear that a few hours before I installed an update of that version AI CC 2014.2, and even now there is no sign of that version. Is there anyone out there who can confirm that there was an AI CC 2014.2 update available (obviously only for a very short period of time, maybe withdrawn?!) Nevertheless - everything works fine so far with a clean re-install of AI CC 2014.1 - as long as there is no AI CC 2014.2 in sight!
