PP - No data in Field J_3ARESM (reserved qty) of 2lis_02_pabdsi(AFS based)

Hi,
I have loaded data for the AFS based datasource 2LIS_AF_PABDSI of PP. But there is no data in the field -
J_3ARESM(reserved quantity) - only showing 0,000. Used RSA3 transaction to extract data.
I checked it after filling up the setup tables. Data is present for all other fields.
Using MB25 transaction, when I give a particular production order - it has reservation data.
But, no data is present for Reservation Quantity in 2LIS_AF_PABDSI.

I think this standard datasource is not fit for this filed. J_3ARESM(reserved quantity) filed populate through J_3ABDSI this table try it once with z datsource mapping through
J_3ARESM- ZJ_3ARESM(AFS Fixed reserved quantity)

In MMBE for combination of Material, Plant & SLoc -->
We have column displayed as "Reserved".
I want to display this Qty in z report.
I searched in all Stock related tables - like MARC, MARD, MBEW, S032...etc.
But unable to find the total of Reserved Qty.
Shall I use RESB for this?
But it has thousand of records (for same Mat, Plant & sloc combination)...
Which "WHERE" conditions will work?

Problem while creating with QUAN and CURR data type fields

I am trying to create a Z table. A couple of fields are of data type QUAN and CURR, which need to have reference table and reference field.
Field               DataType     Length     Decimal
TOT_QTY       QUAN            15                 3
PRICE              CURR             16                2
For reference table and fields, I found a Table HRPAD23 which has a field called N_QUANTITY (15,3) that matches my TOT_QTY field's data type and it also has a field called UN_PRICE that matches my PRICE field's data type. But when I use them as reference, and try to activate the table, I get an error "combination reference table/field does not exist". How do I fix this? Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.

I doubt that you need to add 2 extra fields in your table as suggested in the last post by John.
Your error is very CLEAR that you seem to be use wrong combination of reference table and field.
For QTY field,
use ref table - HRPAD23.              ref field- UNIT
OR
ref table - VBAP                       ref field - VRKME
For PRICE field,
use ref table - PAD25                  ref field - KWAER
OR
ref table - T77REFDOC                                     ref field - CURRENCY
It should work.

Change in Expected Delivery date (EDD) field in the PO after final release

Hello Experts,
There is a business requirement, whereby after PO final release is completed & when the PO is released for further processing, no further changes should be possible, except for the expected delivery date (EDD) field in the Delivery schedule tab of the PO Item details. Other than this, no changes should be possible in the PO, neither qty, nor price, not even the simple PO text should be allowed to get changed. In other words no field should be allowed to change.
Ideally, except the EDD field, other all fields should be in grey mode, or atleast changes in any of the PO fields (except EDD) should not be allowed to get saved after the PO is final released.
Please let me know if SAP provides any such facility, whereby you can selectively choose certain fields (like EDD field) on which Release Strategy should not be applied & changes should be allowed in these fields even after PO final release.

and assing the User parameter EFB in user id of the user using SU3 transction

Not adopting storagelocation field from reservation to PR using MRP.

We are using MRP in our company to automatically convert reservations into purchase requisition if the stock is not available.
Now system is not adopting storage location field from reservation while creating purchase requisition.
Can you please help me that where should i configure to fill the storagelocation field data from reservation.

Please check below mention details in material master.
1) Material master is maintain for storage location check with MM03.
2) Also check storage location in MRP2 view storage location for EP in MM03.
3) Also check storage location in MRP2 view production storage location in MM03.

MRP splitting the reservation qty to multiple purchase requisitions

Hi SAP gurus,
We currently have an issue with our MRP splitting the total reservation qty into two purchase requsitions.
For example: Res A = 100. After MRP run, 2 Pur Reqs will be generated with PR 1 = 60 and PR 2 = 40.
We checked the source list, info records for minimum order qty but we are not maintaining it at all. We also tried entering the max lot size to 10,000 but still it didn't work.
Any advice on how we could resolve this, please?

For the purposes of troubleshooting, you should ensure that both purchase reqs are unfirmed, then use "3 delete/recreate" planning mode for your MRP runs to minimize possible confusion. So, 1-3-1-3-1 until this is fixed. Also, run regen one time NETUPL.
What is your Strategy group?
And to confirm and reiterate, your Material master stuff is
Quota arrangement usage = blank
Min lot = 0
max lot = 10000
max stock = 0
rounding = 0
Rounding profile= blank
No entries whatsoever in the Safety stock block
Planned delivery time 154
No entries whatsoever in the 'Storage Location MRP' block
Your reservation creation date is Nov 11 and your reservations reqment date is Nov 11. You have no other supply elements (purchase orders/purchase reqs/stock/production orders/planned orders etc) and you have no other requirements elements (sales orders/deliveries/other reservations/dependent rqments, etc).
Are your purchase reqs sourced? Are the sources different? If so, can you give me the standard qty and maximum qty and planned delivery time from each of the Purchase info records? Or, are you using a Contract or a Scheduling agreement?

"You can use FM RS_VARIANT_CONTENTS to display ONE variant associated to a report
If you want to see the information of ALL VARIANTS associated to a report I think the only way is checking table VARID to get all the variants associated to the report and then do a loop and call RS_VARIANT_CONTENTS for each variant."

4. Export all the prepared data to REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

Problem with Date/Time field in Adobe LiveCycle

I am trying to create a form that has a check-in and check-out dates. I want the user to enter those dates and then have the form automatically compute how many nights the user intends on staying.
I have two fields, CHECKIN and CHECKOUT, set up as text fields. My third field, NIGHTS, has the following script to do the calculation:

When I make the changes, I can't get the script to work for the NIGHTS field.
CAN ANYONE HELP THIS NEWBIE?

Make sure the format of the date strings provided by the calendar is what you are expecting. Or use the "formattedValue" for the input strings.

In Generic Technology Connector's -SPML design parameters section, Can we give multiple values in SPML Web Service Complex Data Type field?
If not, how can i call methods directly instead of calling them through a values of the "name" attribute of the "complexType" element in SPML Web Service Complex Data Type?
I need 'SPML Web Service Complex Data Type' to hold multiple values.And based on the request it has to initiate appropriate method of action.
Presently i have three methods add,modify and delete which i am calling through a single value of the "name" attribute of the "complexType" element in SPML Web Service Complex Data Type.
I want to replace this single value with multiple menthods , so that a direct interaction between the method,OIM and target can be established.

You'll need to create your own interface to the webapp database for those kind of data operations
by this, are you speaking of the internal BC database which stores web app schema data? That would be great if it were possible to update that programmatically because I need to use the List (Checkbox List) field type (for the search functionality), but I need to supply the checkbox options from a web app rather than by manually updating the list entered in the Fields view of the web app settings (shown below).
I'm curious if anyone else has tried this?
Again, my reason for needing to use the List (Checkbox List) field type is that the page which processes searches knows to expect a comma separated list for this field type and then appears to be parsing out the individual values for searching out web app items with 1 or more matching values. You're right that text fields (string and multiline) just check for 'string contains' matches, and this would be ok if I was only ever needing to search just one value at a time. Here's an example of what I might do:
Web App item field value (as recorded against the List (Checkbox List) field type:
8294877,8294878
Web App Search value (for this same field):
8294879,8294877,8294885
The search would return this web app item because the field contains 2 (1 or more) individual values even though they were entered into the search field in a different order. If this web app item were just a Text (string or multiline) field, the searched value is not a substring of the web app item's stored value, so it would not find a match. Hence the need to use Checkbox List field type.
The web app will have thousands if not 10s of thousands of records, so dumping them all into one big array or object and searching on the front-end won't be practical (though it works great on smaller datasets).

Insert current date and time into Oracle date type field

I have a JDBC current date and time insert into Oracle 9i that almost works. It submits the current date and a fixed time into the Oracle date type field. I am using Tomcat 6.0.20.
For example if I insert the data at 7:24:04 PM on Feb 16, 2010 it will insert as: 16-Feb-2010 12:00:00 AM
The date part works but the time always shows 12:00:00 AM no matter what date or time the data is inserted.
Here is what I have for my JDBC inserts and I also tried something with DateFormat:
PreparedStatement ps; Date mydate = new Date(new java.util.Date().getTime()); //insert statement here.... stmt.setDate(1,mydate);
I also tried:
PreparedStatement ps; java.sql.Timestamp mydate = new java.sql.Timestamp(new java.util.Date().getTime()); SimpleDateFormat fmt = new SimpleDateFormat(.... //insert statement here.... ps.setTimestamp(1,fmt.format(mydate));
Both keep submitting the date into Oracle as 16-Feb-2010 12:00:00 AM
Anyway to get the current date and time? For example if I insert the data at 7:24.04 pm today it should show as 16-Feb-2010 07:24.04 PM in Oracle.

Distinct count on date/time field...

I am trying to a distinct count on this formula that takes a date/time field and converts it to a date in order to get a distinct count of dates. However, it's not working... say, if I have two dates are the same (the times may be different), it's counted twice. Any suggestions? I tried to convert this to a string thinking the evaluation may change, but no dice. Thanks!!

You can use the following formula...
DateAdd("d", DateDiff("d", #1/1/1900#, {TableName.YourDateTimeField}), #1/1/1900#)
This will set each date value to 12:00 am of it's respective day...
So 8/16/2010 3:01:20PM would become 8/16/2010 12:00:00AM
Now you can group on this formula field and then simply do a count on the date at the appropriate group level.

How to get calendar icon to show again when entering data in date/time field.

First time posting on this site. I am fairly new to using SQL Server Express. I created a split-database in MS Access 2010 and have successfully migrated over the backend database to SQL Server Express. When I was using the FE forms in
Access, I use to be able to see a calendar icon where I could select the month and day in the date/time field.
I compiled the FE forms to binary format .accde so that I could distribute this to the users and they couldn't change my forms. After migrating the tables to SQL Server express for the BE, I am no longer able to see the calendar icon when I try to enter
in data in the date/time field. Same for the original .accdb file before the binary conversion to .accde.
How do I get the calendar icon back to show on the form when a user is entering in data? I appreciate any assistance I can get. Thank you!

I don't believe the table changed when migrating from Access. I had two tables before the migration, one was for the SwitchBoard Manager and the other table was for the database table. I used the Switchboard to navigate to different menus, such
