PP-work centre view-Actual capacity utilisation

Hello Experts,
We have one requirement of report to compare total capacity of a resource and actual use of the capacity,
1. Available capacity we get from r/3 data source 0pp_wccp,
for e.g  For a machine xyz, operation time is 15hrs and we have 4 no. of resource hence the capacity for the day becomes
      60hrs.
2. Now the problem is  how to get the the actual utilisation of capacity, in 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL we get PO wise start time and end   time, but one batch goes through series of operations hence is there any standard way(datasource) where we can get the operation wise eventually resource/Work center wise start time and end time data so that we can get resource utilisation for a day?
thanks & regards,
Suyog

  • Capacity category in work centre

Hi, we maintained the two different capacity categories (001 and 002) in work centre. Please advise in which table these 2 capacity categories will be saved in sap? Thank you.

    Dear Raju,
Please refer the table KAKO to view the capacity categories.
Refer the table CRHd and enter the work center to get the object ID.
Enter the Object id while using KAKO and get the capacity category.

  • Work centre capacity utilization

    Dear guru ,
i have a work centre that always work in the same moment for 3 different production order.
If my total daily available capacity is 11 hours for my 1 individual capacity is right that I assign to the work centre a capacity utilization of 300 percent in order to have a daily available capacity of 33 hours and I can use capacity levelling in the best way ?
Or there is other better solution for solving this problem ?
    Thanks for your help.

you can also put no. of individual capacity as 3.

  • How to measure work centre performance in the pp point and pm pinot of view

    Dear Guru`s,
how to evaluate the work centre performance in the pp,pm point?
how to evaluate the OEE (overall equipment efficieny)?
can anybody suggest that, if there is any transactions are avialable to get the reports or any process is to be followed to evaluate these?.
    regards,

    hi
you can evaluate the PM work center using t-codes
    CR05 - Work Center List
    CR06 - Cost Center Assignment
    CR07 - Work Center Capacity
    CR08 - Work Center Hierarchy
with this you can get the requirment, available and overlaod of the capacity
OEE cannot be directly calculated you can develop the custom based program to calulate the one with available input,( available hrs, down time hrs)

  • Work-Centre Capacity

    Hi Experts,
We want to maintain the capacity of work centre can you please answer the following :
1.We have created workcenter such as AUTO at second level & AUTO-WELD,AUTO-FITT on third level in Hierarchy.
Could you tell me how I have to maintain the capacity, should i maintain on third level or second level basically what is the process of maintaining capacity to work centre.
2.If i maintain capacity only on third level could i see the total capacity on second level of hierarchy summation of welder & fitter workcentre .
3.IF I Have one engineer common for  4 welder  & 4 fitter under the AUTO-WELD & AUTO-FITT workcenter, what could be the indual capacity 5 or 4 for one workcentre. Here ,should i consider engineer also for both the workcenter or should i skip this engineer for both workcentre.

  • Difference between PP work Centre and Main work centre in a floc ?

    Hi,
Can someone tell me the difference between the PP work centre in the location tab of a functional location compared to the Main Work Centre listed in the Organizational tab ?
    Thanks

    Kent,
The way I understand it, is that the main work centre (Field name: GEWRK) in the organizational tab refers to the actual group who are reponsible for carrying out the maintenance of the object.  Costing and capacity planning is carried out through this Work Centre.  However the PP Work Centre (Field name: ARBPL) in the location tab is a different work centre.  And I'm not sure what it controls (if anything).  I think it refers to the location of the unit, but other than that I don't know what it controls.

  • Assignment of single capacities to a work centre

    Dear experts,
    I have following problem:
We created capacities which we want to use for capacity planning using CR11.
In the work centre maintenance I want to assign these capacities using CR02. -  Capacity header view --> ' go to individual capacities' . Here I want to fill the table 'capacity assignments - individual capacities' . When I put in the capacity code I get the error message CR100 'the capacity exists already'.
I can only create new capacities (using new capacity codes). that doesn't help since we need to assign pool capacities which means these new capacites can not be assigned to the other work centres later on. For my problem it does not matter whether the capacity to be assigned is a pool capacity or not.
What I want to do is exaclty what I found described in SAP documentations, unfortunately without detailed instruktions .
What do I need to do to be able to assign these individual capacities?
    thanks in advance
    Kurt

    Dear,
In Work center i.e CR02 capacity header, click Goto -> Individual Capacites . This will take you to the "Assignment tot the Individual Capacity" screen. Here you give names of the individual capacities and Click "Choose (F2)" , where you can maintain the header details for this individual capacity.
    For example:
when You  give individual capacites as '2' ,youI have to go to GOTO field and select there Individual capacities. It asks for capacity and its short text.In capacity field  you can  give person1, person 2 etc and its short text as Ramesh, Kishan (name of operators).

    Ram,

  • PP - Cube for Actual Capacity Utilization (in hours per confirmation)

    Hi,
I need to extract the exact operation confirmation times for PP orders from ECC6. For example, if a single order started at 11:00am and then was confirmed twice before being finished in the evening, the client wants to see the actual times used for each operaiton. This way they want to subtract from 24 hours and see the idle time of the production operation.
For this purpose I have checked all the cubes under 'Production/process orders' infoarea. The cube '0PP_C03 Plan/Actual Comparison Operation/Work Center View' seems to have the operation time but in days. This is first of all causing a rounding off problem and secondly it does not show the time gaps between confirmations on the same operation.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Adeel Hashmi

    Hello ,
    Method 1 :
    1- Create a one Multi provider .
2- Copy the standard cube 0PP_C03 and make your own Cube with necessary fields ( enhance it as per your requirement ).
This New Cube should be Virtual Cube .
3- Create a Report on Mutiprovider ( which you created in step1 )
4-select the relevant char and key figure as per requirement .
5- you can use the selection and  formula in report for time difference ..
In this method restrict the query on virtual cube only .
    Method 2 :
From R/3 you have record like this :
    Operation 1( O1) ---> 11:00 :00
    Operation 1( O1) --> 14:00:00
    Operation 2( O2) --> 10:30:00
    Operation 2( O2) --> 13:30:00
1- Create a one Key figure with Data Type TIMS .
2- Include this key figure in the Cube which you have created in above steps ( Method1 )
3-Write a routine to fillt he data for Keyfigure ..if O1 record find calculate time difference .
4-Now you have time difference in BW for operation
5-Add new keyfigure in MP and use in Report .
    Hope this helps .

  • WORK CENTRE IN EQUIPMENT MASTER DATA

    Hello All,
In IE01 tcode > creation of equipment , pls tell me what is the relevance of work centre in location tab ??
    Thanks,
    Sunny

    Hi
    Work Center
Definition:Operations are carried out at a work center. In the R/3 System work centers are business objects that can represent the following real work centers, for example:
    Machines, machine groups
    Production lines
    Assembly work centers
    Employees, groups of employees
    Use
Together with bills of material and routings, work centers belong to the most important master data in the R/3 production planning and control system. Work centers are used in task list operations and work orders. Task lists are for example routings, maintenance task lists, inspection plans and standard networks. Work orders are created for production, quality assurance, plant maintenance and for the Project System as networks.
Data in work centers is used for
    Scheduling
Operating times and formulas are entered in the work center, so that the duration of an operation can be calculated.
    Costing
Formulas are entered in the work center, so that the costs of an operation can be calculated. A work center is also assigned to a cost center.
    Capacity planning
The available capacity and formulas for calculating capacity requirements are entered in the work center.
    Simplifying operation maintenance
Various default values for operations can be entered in the work center.
    Look at CR01 ,CR02,CR03 Transaction

  • Work Center Hierarchy and Capacity

    Hello SAP friends,
Can someone please help me with the following scenario?
    I have 3 Work Centers
    MAQ00 - (Capacity 10:00 x 2)
    MAQ01 - 8:00 -- 18:00 (Capacity 10:00)
    MAQ02 - 8:00 -- 18:00 (Capacity 10:00)
    I have a hierarchy
    HICY01
    MAQ00 - Root of hierarchy
    |_ MAQ01
    |_ MAQ02
    Then, I have a routing
    10 - PP01 - MAQ00 - 1H
    20 - PP01 - MAQ00 - 2H
If I go to CM01 for Work Center MAQ00 I can see the capacity and requirement, where:
    Capacity: 10:00 x 2
    Requirement: 3:00
But if I go to transaction CM21 for Work Center MAQ00 the capacity and requirement is not correct. Can someone please help me with this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Adelmo Silva

    Hi,
CM01 will give the cumulative requirement as 3 hrs but CM21(Gradhical View) shows the individual spread of oprn. 10 and 20 as 1H and 2 H resp.
    Does the above help you?

  • Standard available capacity Vs actual capacity used in W/C

    Hi Gurus
Can some tell me the tcode for a report which will give me the "Standard available capacity Vs Actual capacity used" for a Work Center?
    regards
    HR

    HR,
It is unclear to me how this report falls short of your requirements.
CM01 displays  Capacity requirements (load), Capacity available, and percentage of requirements vs available.

    Other ways of evaluating the same data:  CM02, CM03, CM04, CM05, CM07, CM50.
I suggest you work with the standard reports for a while before you consider changing them.  However, you can alter the standard cap evaluations in many ways.  Review

  • Work centres for employee of more than one plant

    Hello experts
I have a question regarding work centres. Our department is managing a pool of workers which consist of employee from more than one plant. Somebody had made experience concerning this issue?
Furthermore we have to manage external workers as capacity. How can I build up this in SAP?
    Best regards

    >
    > I confused plants with company code.
    >
This bit difficult for me to decide and say something.
Depends on the business requirement and business process and legal statuses it will be decided.
some time plans can also be company 'codes'.
if the management wants to differentiate plants in financial terms plants may become company codes.
    >
So we have employees of different company codes which get managed by one department manager. Is that possible to make one work center so that we are able to manage them together. Seems infeasible.  So we have to create for every company code one work center, but we never have an overview of our total workers...
    >
One thing you need to get clarified here. Company is a separate legal entity.
if you want one employee to work in different companies on different assignments you support use (MGE and CE concept)
    >
    > If he/she working in two different site we can manage the situation with dual reporting concept.
    > and with:
    > For cost center you can always use cost center split. while posting to FI/CO.
    >
Dual reporting is to manage the people.
Cost is for final analysis ( where employee work how much incured, how much profit/loss earned)

  • Work scheduling view-material master

Hi, wht is meant by lot size depenedent parameters and lot size independent parametrs? how to use that data in manufacturing industry? pls advise.

    Dear Yadav,
case1: If you have maintained the Inhouse production time for any product in the MRP2 view, this get's automatically reflected
in Work scheduling view as lot size independent Inhouse production time.
At this point if basic scheduling is carried out during MRP then the date calculation will be based upon this number of days
    irrespective of the order quantity.
case2:Once after maintaining the operation timings in the routing, you can update the same using CA97,for the relevant task list
type ,group and group counter no and include the check box for update material master directly, you can find the timings
maintained on hour basis in the setup, processing and inter operation (This calculation is based on the timings maintained in the
routing and also your work center capacity details, like the number of hours this capacity will be available for a day).
Once after performing this, even if you have maintained the inhouse production time in days, that value gets removed.
This time will be considered for basic scheduling purpose during MRP.
So in my understanding this will be helpful during the scheduling purpose for the date calculation.
Check and revert back with your further queries.
