PPOME Transaction
Hi,
I need to customize the PPOME Transaction to Add the Infotypes 5010 and 5050 to one of the custom scenarios. I created the Tabs in the View T77OMTABUS and selected the Option Infotype Specific and Mentioned the Correspoding Infotypes.
In IMG, I read, for Infotypes specific tabs, we dont need to create any new screens. But, I dont get any screen for these two Infotypes.
I could not figure out, if there is still something missing in the configuration or, Does these Infotypes need any different process.
Please suggest.

You'll get the holder of that position.

Problem with Period selection in PPOME transaction!
Dear All,
I have a very strange problem while selecting the time period in the PPOME transaction.
While selecting the "date and forecast period" option from the "settings" option in the menu bar, the time period in the preview the PPOME transaction must show as 3 months by default. But for my user ID when i select the preview period, the month field is displayed as blank and the end date is always defaulted to current date.
Is this time period coming from any configuration? I would like to know is there any way to by which we can change and save the time period settings.

I am able to see an employee in PPOME under 'person' search, but the same employee is not getting reflected under 'user' search.
Pls let me know what could be the possible reason and how to get it reflected.Thanks.

Please verify if you can see the same in PP01 transaction as there are issues generally when you create any relationship or object in PPOCE/PPOME transaction.
If you cannot see in PP01 create one and then try, may be you can now see the same.

Restriction for PPOME transaction
Hi,
In PPOME transaction we can drag a person from one position to another position to change its position. What can be done that system will not allow user to do this, like error message that can be given through user exit or any other thing. I want user to chage any employee's position from PA40 only.

for example with following 2 authorizations of PLOG the user could only dislay the relationship (subtype) between a position and a person and the relationship(subtype) between position and orgunit.

Personnel Subarea inheriting from Personnel Area in PPOME Transaction
Hi,
We are facing the issue in PPOME Account Assignment tab.
Whenever if we assign the personnel Area, the personnel sub area also filled with Personnel area instead of taking the corresponding PA's PSA.
Could anybody let me know, how to avoid this issue.

Approver changes in PPOM transaction
Hi All,
Please provide inputs on this.
We are facing problem in which PPOM approver details are modified in produciton. Please let me know, how can I trace history of these approver changes. Is there any log maintained?If By PPOM you mean the HR org. structure I think they have change documents but that is a question for the HR forum not workflow, if you mean the changes to responsibility links to the users/org. structure, they are not logged by default but you can activate the change documents for them. see Change documents for workflow rule

How do I restrict PT60 Schema transaction to Personal Area?
I have tried to restrict it throgh personal area but no luck. Same with PPOME transaction even though the users have only restricted PA access but they are able to change Org structure.
I ran the trace and it shows that it checked P_ORGIN for specific Personal Area but then bypass that check and was able to update the change.

(structural) authorizations for access to employees is correct, I assume
What you might do is add an addtional PCR to the time schema.
If the personnel area of the EE and time schema don't 'match' add an error so that further time evaluation fails.
Or am I missing your point?

Iam not able to find the badi as you mentioned but there is a badi APPREQUEST_UPDATE availble for the same.
Implementing Business Add-Ins (BADI)
Steps:
1. Execute Business Add-In(BADI) transaction SE18
2. Enter BADI name i.e. APPREQUEST_UPDATE and press the display
button
3. Select menu option Implementation->Create
4. Give implementation a name such as ZAPPREQUEST_UPDATE
5. You can now make any changes you require to the BADI within this
implementation, for example choose the Interface tab
6. Double click on the method you want to change, you can now enter
any code you require.
7. Please note to find out what import and export parameters a
method has got return the original BADI definition
(i.e. APPREQUEST_UPDATE) and double click on the method name
for example within APPREQUEST_UPDATE BEFORE_UPDATE is a method
8. When changes have been made activate the implementation

Authorisations to search in PPOME
Hello Experts,
I am facing a peculiar issue where when i am trying to search for an employee under an org unit i am getting a message saying that "Result list is incomplete due to missing authorization".
As a turnover, i have enhanced the FM 'STRUCTURE_BUILD' in the FM "RH_STRUC_GET" to bypass the authorisation check for OTYPE = O / S / P.
But still am getting the same message.
Can someone pls guide me on how I can overcome this error.

RKOK. You can ask some ABAPer to debugg the code. Execute PPOME transaction after that when you will search employee then drag the text file to the screen and debugging will be on. After that ask the abaer to find if there is any BADI or EXIT.

Assignment of employee BPs' to the organisational model (t-code: PPOMA)
Hi Forum-ers,
I need to load the assignment of employee business partners to the organizational model in PPOMA (transaction). Basically, the requirement is for a load program to:
1) create positions and assign them to the organizational structure nodes
2) assign employees to the organizational structure positions
Any suggestion on the Function Module to use? Or perhaps can i use IDOC for this update? If yes, what is the "basic type" for that caters for this assignment of employee BP's to the organizational model?

Thanks for the info. I have tested FM CRM_ORGMAN_CREATE_REL_OBJ & i am able to create positions to the organization model.
However, assigning the employee BP to position did not work with FM OM_CREATE_NEW_RELATIONS. Here is what i've done with the FM:
PARENT_OBJ: Assign "Position" structure
CHILD_OBJ: Assign "BP" structure
VRSIGN: B
VRELAT: 270
VBEGDA: sy-datum
VENDDA: 31.12.9999
PERCENTAGE: 100.00
ACTION_INFO: blank
It did not assigned the BP to the position but instead creates another new position. Not sure why, did i left out something or does my parameter assignments are wrong? -
Assignment of Personal resource on PPOME
We are on MRS 7.0 and I am trying to configure and test the system to get the demands show up on the planning board.
I have done the configuration as per the config guide, defined the HR work center and linked it to a Logistics work center.
On PPOME transaction, I am not able to choose the view 'Assingment of personal resource' to see the linkage between a Person to a HR work center and to a logistics work center.
How do I define a resource planner ?
What steps are required to link the resource planner to a person / user ?
I would appreciate if someone could post what steps need to be done from the HR side, other then the above ones.

Emploee/ Position Integration in PPOME
Hi,
I`m running a hire with IT0 and IT1. I`m loading the employee data through LSMW. After the upload, I can see the employees being hired with relevant data in PA30. But when I get into PPOMe transaction and see if the position in being properly assigned to employee or not, I could see that the position is still empty and is not being assigned to the employee.
Can anyone suggest as to what can be done to get the assignement of position to an employee from OM side.

The PLOGI switch is already ON, and also we tried running these reports , but still it does not works.
I can see the OM_PA integration from PA side.. ( i.e from PA30 -> IT0001) and not from OM side (thru transaction PPOME).

Personas - PPOME/PPOSE missing container
Hi all, I am seeing something strange in the PPOSE/PPOME transactions. When I search using the object manager in the desktop GUI, a Hit List container appears below the "Find By" container, and I can select the record I want to see from there.
However, in our Personas dev and test environments, the hit list does not show up after I enter a search parameter:
Does anyone know how to make the Hit list appear again?? What I find most interesting, is the fact that the Hit List still appears in our Production environment. I'm wondering if it might have to do with some of the notes that we have implemented. All the notes are in dev and test, but there are a few that we have not yet transported to production - 216770 & 1885506
Can some of you look at your ppose transactions and let me know if you can see the Hit List or not?
