PPTP "MPPE required, but keys are not available"

Dear all
Since last reboot of my server I got following errormessage in VPN Logfile when user tries to connect to the server trough PPTP:
MPPE required, but keys are not available. Possible plugin problem?
Anyone have an idea, what could be wrong ?
May as another information: After restart of the server I had problem, that VPN Server was not started, because the L2TP definitions where not correct... Logfile told me. So I have redefined the PPTP and L2TP setting, but disabled the L2TP login, because I have definied this "only" for test purposes. All definitions where made with Server Administrator.
Before restart of Server Login trough PPTP was working quite well...
I forgott to say, that the Server (Leopard 10.5.1) is an OD Master, which is working quite well (until now). The authentication type for PPTP is set to MS-CHAP (Kerberos is grayed out, I don't know why)

authenticate as your admin and then if it does not give an error you should be all set.
See this http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107915 for more info (it talks about an LDAP server but when I tried to add that 'user' to my LDAP server it did not help, so I added it locally (which is what the above command does) and then viola!)

HT204370 I brought movies on my apple TV but they are not available to download on my computer, but one that I buy on my computer are available to watch on apple TV. why is that?

I have purchesed a few movies on my apple TV account eg. Superman. Unfortunelty I cannot get these items to download to my computer so I can upload them to my iPad or iPhone. Applications are installer but icons are not available in iphone 5S

The above image gives all the details about the problem I am facing. All those applications without name are successfully installed but not shown on the device. If you go to settings->general->usage, you can see the above screen. I tried deleting all those apps and reinstalling same but still same problem. I even connected device to itunes and tried searching these missing applications in app store, but the status is shown as 'downloaded'. This problem is really annoying and I am not able to use most of the applications. I really appriciate you help here. Thank you.

MPPE required but not available

Seems like this issue is recurring on the discussion board.
I am running pptp-vpn on an osx server 10.5.7, which is also an OD master.
EDIT: Should add that I was using my OD accounts to VPN, not local accounts.
Until yesterday, the pptp-vpn worked. But today I get this error (I did some changes to the DNS server yesterday, and shutdown the OD replica, probably what caused it):
"MPPE required but not available."

Any ideas? Anyone? Really do not want to reinstall my server again.
Or as another solution, is there any third party pptp-servers out there for osx server, as this one is really unreliable.

Tyghe got it right, HOWEVER, if your OD is munged for any reason OR there are more than one user, you many need to be more 'invasive' about cleaning up and then fixing this issue
If you run the command `vpnaddkeyagentuser /LDAPv3/<od servername>` and it just keeps prompting me like it isn't authenticating, you OD is probably either unstable or non functional. Probably needs an archive and demote-promote.
If you run the command and it runs without prompting me for any username or password and adds an entry into the system keychain but does not create a user on the OD server, it is probably similar to issue as above.
The way I would deal with this is to clear the keychain of EVERY entry, then open WGM, delete all the VPN MPPE users, and try the command again. There will only be one user that contain the 'secret' password for MPPE use, attached to VPN and the password is placed in to the keychain, all others are now dead.

SL 10.6.1 and FontExplorer 1.2.3: ll fonts are "Not available"

After worked fine for weeks, my Mac Pro 2008 quad 2.8 Ghz with 6 Gb ram does not recognize my fonts anymore, just the default system. I can't add neither opentype or truetype or post script. I've cleaned font cache, preferences, sets, reinstalled FontExplorer without luck.
Again, if I install fonts (not in FontExplorer but in Finder) I can see the preview but they are not available in all softwares.
Any idea about the cause?

AET Issue-Zfields are not available in the list of Reusable ZFields List

I created and added Z fields using AET for Incident (SRQM_INCIDENT_H/IncidentHeaderEF VIEW).
Same Z fields I want use in Incident_SLA (SRQM_SLAPRO\ SLASRVCTRVIEW), I make utilize of Add Reusable Field button to choose the existing Zfields. But Zfields are not available in the list of existing ZFields for SRQM_SLAPRO\ SLASRVCTRVIEW.
Please help me in this scenario.

This is almost same issue which makes me to reply here..
In Extension Object MKTPL_MPL, MKTPL_MPT I could reuse the fields which were defined in MKTPL_CPT.
And in Extension Object MKTPL_CPG, I could also reuse "some" fileds in MKTPL_CPT.
But some of fileds of MKTPL_CPT which were already reused in MKTPL_MPL, MKTPL_MPT were not displayed in the reusable fields list for MKTPL_CPG.
In AXTREG, The BOP and Extention location is same like below.
Can you please explain to me why I cannot see the fields in the list? or, what should I check in the system?

"following domains are not available" error - functionally trusted domains but with same NETBIOS dc computernames giving problems.

For SCOM monitoring and user permissions I am trying to add the Action Account from HQ.local domain to some other domains like DOMAIN1.local, TEST1.local and TEST2.local.
(a trust persists between the domains en HQ.local, and DNS Conditional forwarders are configured to correctly resolve the FQDN DNS names).
Problem is, when adding a user from the HQ.local domain to the Active Directory of the DC's SRVPDC01.DOMAIN1.local or SRVPDC01.TEST1.local domain I get an error:
"The Active Directory Domain Controllers Required to find the selected objects in the following domains are not available:
HQ.local
Ensure the Active Directory Domain Controllers are available, and try to select the objects again."
But when I try to do the same thing, so add user1 from HQ.local to the AD on TESTDC01.TEST2.local…. No error!
The other way around, like adding users from DOMAIN1.local, TEST1.local or TEST2.local to the DC01.HQ.local Active directory… also no error!
To make things even more strange, when I validate the trust with HQ.local… and then try to add user1.HQ.local -> No problem, but only for about 1 minute.. After that
it doesn't recognize user1.HQ.local and only displays some CN=S-1-5... ID of the user. Also when trying to add a new user, I receive the error again.
My guess is that the problem has something to do with the same NETBIOS names of the DC's (server 3 and 4). because authenticating users from HQ.local and TEST2.local
doesn't give me errors and all other domains which have same DC names are giving errors.
(for testing purposes I set-up TESTDC01.TEST2.local with a different DC servername to see if the error persists, and it didn't).
Overview of the servers and situation:
- All server 3, 4 and 5 are on separate Vlan's and have no connectivity among each other. But they do have connectivity to the internet, the HQ.local domain and its servers
DC01 and DC02.
- same firewall settings for each vlan
- even Server 4 and server 5 are on the same Vlan for testing purposes, just to make sure the firewall is not the problem.

Hi,
It is possible when some of them dont have valid Schedule lines.
If they have valid schedule lines some confirmed qty should be available.otherwise we cant find them in VBEP table.
Pls check by going to sales order whether Sch.lines are valid or not.
This you can check Thru
VA03-->provide Sales Order number -->Select any line Item-->Menu item Goto-->Item-->Schedule Lines

I haven't launched iMovie in a while, and I've used iPhoto to import many videos from my iPhone's Camera Roll since the last time I launched and used iMovie.
iMovie prompted me to create/update the thumbnails for my iPhoto videos, along with indicating no iPhoto videos will be available with iMovie until this is completed.
Not sure how to do this manually, but this may be your problem.

I am trying to create mobile pages using the steps file>new>new document>page from sample>mobile starters>jquery mobile (cdn). When "page from sample" is selected, the subsequent options are not available. This seems like a silly question, but how do I acquire these options?

My numerical keys are not giving me numbers, but instead some are producing the symbols of other keys, e.g. when I press 5 I get [..??

I accidentally spilt a little bit of water on my keypad yesterday, but I dried it all off straight away and all my keys were working fine. This morning my number keys suddenly stopped working, I freaked out thinking that it was because of the water yesterday but then I realised that about half an hour before they stopped working, they were working because I used the 1 and 2. I got the keyboard viewer up to work out which keys were not working, and discovered that the number keys were not producing numbers but other symbols when typed. However now, I don't know whether I have done something else because now I can't even get other symbols when I press keys 1-9!
I've tried rebooting, and checking all the setting in system preferences.
Any help would be great!!!

I understand that some of the keys are not working on your notebook computer, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To correct the output of characters from your keyboard, I recommend following this document on Notebook Keyboard Troubleshooting (Windows 8). This should help correct how the keys appear on your keyboard.
