Using client Lync 2013 64bit, lync 2010 server environment. I start a meeting and can share desktop etc fine but when I try to share a pptx file I get this message:
Presentation1.pptx couldn't be verified and wasn't uploaded to the meeting. Please contact your support team.
Lync 2010 client I do not get this error.

Check permission
Attach a file in the meeting
Pause on the presentation (monitor) icon, and click the ATTACHMENTS tab.
Click Add Attachment and upload the file.
Click Manage Attachments > Permissions to choose who can download the file, or remove it.
Meeting participants can then download the file from the presentation menu on the
Attachments tab.

are you certain that you’ve completely downloaded the .pkg file — that the download didn’t end prematurely?

If the machine is over 4 years old, have the PRAM battery replaced. If the machine is less than 4 years old, look at these possibilities*: http://www.macmaps.com/cdrfailure.html

Since 29/10/2012 my iphone 4s and more recently my ipad 3 will not connect to the server when trying to access my email account. All I get is an error message saying that 'cannot get mail, connection to the server failed' I hadnt changed any settings it just happened. No. Everything was working fine and then it wasn't. I hadn't changed any settings or switched either one off. When the phone stopped working properly I ignored it because I always have my ipad with me but that just sopped working properly and now I am stuffed. I have tried most solutions suggested on here even wiping the ipad clean and re-booting. I did this exactly the same way as when I first got it but still no joy. The same with the phone.

This problem is irritating me....?

To take panorama
- ensure that the panorama option is on
- press the shutter button once
- you will see a line with an arrow
- move around in a circle ( I keep the camera steady and turn myself around in a circle)
- as you do this you will see the arrow moving across the screen as it captures pictures
- at the end of the capture, you will be able to see your panorama picture

The phone will automatically re-appear when it connects to the Internet. However, don't get your hopes up, as thieves know this & will make sure your phone never re-connects so you can locate it.

As pdroth said, you should have gotten a backup made when you started the update of iOS. If you cannot find a backup, and the phone is in recovery mode, there are no futher suggestions to make. To get the phone working again you have to restore. You cannot force a backup at this time since it is already in recovery mode. It will not allow anything else but a restore at this point.

When the keyboard pops up, tab the Globe icon, and select the English keyboard.

Use the media browser. In every open/attach window in tithe lower left hand corner under media ==> photos ==> iPhoto

Theoretically, yes.
Heat, and heat cycling certainly do take a toll on even solid state components. I have several "very old" Macintosh computers, and the logic boards exhibit the effects.
The fan too, running at higher speeds, does eventually cause wear. More than anything, the higher airflow leads to a higher propensity for dust accumulation on the fan, and the heat exchangers.
In practical terms though, maybe not so much. If you plan on having your computer exhibit a reasonable useful life before you retire it or upgrade, you may never experience any of the detrimental effects. I rarely use a computer longer than 3 years, before I sell, give it away, or just stop using it.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Your computer is well designed to give you a long life, even in the manner in which you describe. Take care of it, but use it for what you bought it for. Nothing you mention is in any way, abuse.

Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

Trash your preferences. Trash your project render files. Switch off background rendering. Do not render. Export.
