If this SAME problems is effecting us all then suspect its not IPS problem as we all get problem at 995.6MB.
I would think that there is some kind of software conflict. If we all having this problem just think of how many users have the same but are not on this discussion board, bet you its 100s and 100s.
Not possible for me to visit store now but will monitor your responce's.

I have successfully installed itunes 10, then get an error message that reads, itunes was not installed correctly Error 7 (Windows error 127)
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I was downloading a app from the app store and it downloaded about 85% then gave an error message download failed but when I reopen the app store to the purchases the resume button show but when i click it the same error comes up failed to download
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.

When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Since updating to Yosemite my airport express (used for airplay) connects for a short period then drops, the error message "An error occurred while connecting to the AirPlay device “Kitchen”. The host cannot be reached." Has anyone else had this problem
I'm having the same issue. Haven't found a workaround. I use a main TimeCapsule as my main router, also have another TimeCapsule that extends the network, three Airport Express and an AppleTV. For whatever reason, the two AirportExpress that I have in a different rooms cut out. I only have 600 square foot apartment so it's not that big, the signal should be strong enough. Airport Utilitiy reports the signal strength to be strong on all devices.
I'm using all new equipment, a new MacPro for my music, new TimeCapsules, new Airport Express, new everything with the latest Yosemite software. Very frustrating. My Airplay used to work very nice and now I'm constantly having issues and restarting my network. I did a fresh install of all my software on my MacPro when I got it in January so it's not as if it's an old machine with old software, everything is new within the last 6 months.
The only workaround I found so far is to unplug the devices and to plug them back in. Since upgrading to Yosemite, I'm restarting my Airport Express at least twice a week. Very annoying. -
I have been trying to update to IOS 6 for 3 days now - my Iphone4S is in middle of restore and it gets so far then stops - no error messages - the bar does not move further. it stops at different places -

My PC sporadically recognizes my iPhone. occasionally it synchs on first try. More often it recognizes the iPhone and then gives an error message that it can't recognize it. Help!

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems. As you might imagine, I'm hoping to avoid the creation of new problems as I try to solve this one. Thanks again.

Hi all,
I recently reorganised the family iMac to having 3 accounts, rather than just 1. My wife has an account, I do, and there is an admin account. We have had a time capsule for a while (I think we got it a couple of months after launch). Its been great up to now. However since changing to the new set up, we keep getting an error message. Rather unhelpfully I've not written down the error message, but I hoped someone may have an idea what is going on.
I am in the process of erasing the disk and I am contemplating resetting it to the factory defaults. I use it as my wifi also.
Is there a known issue with the TC back up when using a machine with multiple accounts? I did a search on the forums (admittedly not a really in depth one), but saw nothing similar.
Would it be usefull to do a factory reset once the erase is finished?

I've now done the erase and factory reset - I'm backing up on my user account, will then check my wifes (likely tomorrow as its 730 pm here.

My ipad2 has crashed. Tried to do an update last night. Upload bar moved 1cm then locked stayed like that all night. I have switched off and then on again and its prompting me to connect to itunes. Once connected it says to restore. It starts this process and then stops with an error message (11) I cant access anything on it not even the battery charge indicator shows. What do I do?

I recently bought an iPhone 4, and it worked just fine, until I tried to sync it with iTunes. Whenever I would try to sync it, it would stall somewhere in the process, and then an error message would come up eventually. It would say something along the lines of "Process timed out, Internal Harware error" or somthing like that, there were several error messages.
So then I tried to restore the phone. I did it through iTunes, and eventually the process stalled on the "Preparing iPhone for restore" part, and then it would give me an error message (4013). My phone is stuck on the connect to itunes screen. When I do connect it to iTunes it says that the phone is in recorvery mode and that and needs to be restored. So again, I try to restore it and it gets stalled in the "Preparing iPhone for restore" part. I have also recieved the 2005 error code. I have tried to fix it by unplugging all other USB's, using a different USB port, disabling firewalls ect.. I have the newest version of iTunes, and my phone is running 7.0.3 (Can't update now that the restore is necessary, and I couldn't update anyways because the same problem I had syncing it occured when I tried to update.) I have Windows XP.Error 1 is a baseband error. If you have Warranty or AppleCare Coverage take iPhone to Apple for resolution of this problem. If no coverage then search the Web for Error 1. Users have reported some success with this Error 1.

For many weeks now, my iTunes has failed to update. I download the updates and they go through the installation process, but then I get an error message that they failed to install. How can I update?
Wild guess but if your WinXP system has formatted your drive(s) as FAT32 then the maximum file size is 4GB. Could be that the download in 1080p is >4GB? (if formatted NTFS then this should not be a problem).
Again just a guess with iTunes on WinXP but something easy to check first. -

If you are running Tiger, you don't have time machine.
You need to get something like SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner (sorry, I don't have a handy link for CCC but you can Google it to get their site) to make a clone of your drive on the external and then do incremental backups. The free versions do a lot and you can upgrade to the full-service versions for small change if you need more. The one time I used SuperDuper! for cloning a volume it worked just fine.
(My backup application is the last PPC capable version of Retrospect, which does a credible job, or has over the past ten-twelve years.)
