PR convert to PO with Me59n

Hi Guys,
I know that there are many of thread regarding this subject. But I could not find any answer.
What drive the convert of PR to PO regarding the doc type.
I mean in Config you set up the "allowed" PR type to create PO, but how does the system choose the PO type to create?

Hi,
The document type determination for Auto PO creation thru ME59 is explained in SAP note:114213
That note has to be applied and u need to maintain table T160 for transaction 'ME59' with default document type as your document type
Please remember, only one document type can be maintained/used for auto po creation using ME59

I have a question. We have 2 types of PO - ZNS - for items with item category L - subcontracting and ZNB for items with standard item category. When we convert NB purchase requisitions with me59n we need to create PO's ZNB or ZNS depending of item category of PR. How can we do it?

With PO customizing in the IMG. But if the source of the PR's is a sales order schedule line, then you can better control the process with a differen type of requisition on the schedule line category.

new to itunes, used windows media player before that and always ripped music directly to an external hardrive and accessed it through the player. now that i downloaded itunes it is taking from the external hardrive and copying a second file for each song onto my lap top hard drive which does not have the capacity for all my music. as itunes converts music files i want them saved back onto my external drive or another location i have space for rather than the lap top. how do i change the setting to move the itunes media folder to another location. assuming that hitting copy and past and dropping it in a random location will cause a few errors.

When I have done this, all I did was network the two machines and copy the contents of the iTunes folder to the other machine, and that's it.
My understanding (which may not be 100% correct) is that the one file that is absolutely necessary is iTunes Library, and that the XML file is actually a copy auto-generated from the iTunes Library, appearing in a different format only for non-iTunes apps that take advantage of the iTunes Library data.
As far as I know, if you simply have the Library (database) file and all your original music files, iTunes on that computer should operate as it did on your old computer. I believe that the Album Artwork, Genius Data, and XML files can be regenerated from the Library file. Not sure about the Extras file.

It sounds as if you downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro. If you did, uninstall it. Then repair Adobe Reader.
The free Acrobat account has no connection to any of this.

Trouble converting powerpoint files with png images to pdf-Can someone help?

Hello all,
In my line of work, I create and modify large sized posters that are created in powerpoint. I would have the files print ready by converting them to pdf. I usually have little to no issues executing this. However, I have been dealing with an issue of converting ppt files with png images. The size of the ppt is typically a 42x56 file. The several ways to convert to pdf produces an error each time. Png images are very useful as they provide much clarity vs jpegs or tiffs. The 3 ways I have tried below are:
A) File>Print>Adobe PDF>High Quality print settings/300dpi results to an error message that says:
     "Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current print setup. Try one of the following:
     *Check the printer by printing a test page from Windows.
     *Make sure the printer is turned on and online.
     *Reinstall the printer driver"
     A blank pdf opens up (Selected to open file after publishing)
B) File>Save as> Change file type as a pdf results in nothing happening. No pdf is produced.
C) Acrobat>Create PDF results to an error message that says: "An unexpected error occured. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF."
Again, this all happens with ppt files with png images. I took out the png images and attempted to convert to pdf, and the pdf is produced!
Can anyone provide any assistance in creating pdfs with png images or what settings I need to adjust? I am able to covert every other image type (jpeg, tiff, bmp), except for png images.
I am using Microsoft Office 2010 with Adobe Acrobat X on Windows 7 (This happened on Windows XP as well).

PowerPoint only has to store one instance of the image even thought it is
displayed on multiple slides. But Acrobat can't do the same, the image has
to be stored for every page that it appears on, so that would explain the

Acrobat is supposed to be able to optimize the storage of common background
images (at least that's the message I see when I do a "Save as..."), but I
have yet to see it to work. Maybe it depends on the application the orginal
file is created in and the PDF conversion method used.

to keep the size down (then it really only does store the object once),
though I believe that watermark images will appear in front of everything

be able to go as low as 75 dpi and not notice a difference, it depends on
whether the image contains any areas of high contrast or text.

I have tons of raws + xmp sidecars that i want to convert to dng, because the raws are from different camera brands and i want to get everything simplified. so that i do not have to worry if I will be able to access the raws in the future, if I decide I want to rework some of the files.

If the images are already in your catalog you can select them then choose Convert Photos to DNG from the Library menu. You'll be given the option of deleting the original raw files. Either way, Lr will only display the newly created DNG files.
The alternative, which is better suited to images not already in the catalog is to use the Adobe DNG Converter

Ctxhx will not convert Word97 docs with embedded autotext

Manual execution of ctxhx.exe on Sun w/8.1.6.2 and NT 8.1.6 fails to convert Word97 documents with embedded autotext (autotext that contains autotext). It will start to create the html file but terminates and deletes the html file when it hits the footer section that contains the autotext. Remove the offending autotext from the document (not an option of course) and it runs like a champ. Inso's web site has a sample utility to convert and display docs. It successfully converts, but I assume it is much newer than what Oracle has integrated. I have added a clob,converted and loaded the docs as text as a bandaid...not an option for much longer. Any insight?

I suspect you need Word, not Word Starter. Never seen it mentioned before. But you can print to Adobe PDF from Word Starter to convert each file.

Why doesn't converting a DNG with a later converter update metadata?

Example:
Convert a 7D CR2 with DNG Converter 5.5. This gives certain values of metadata such as color matrices & white level.
Now convert that same CR2 with DNG Converter 5.6, and this gives different values of such metadata. (That is reasonable. After all, 5.5 was a beta version as far as converting 7D CR2s was concerned).
Now convert a DNG output by DNG Converter 5.5 with DNG Converter 5.6. (You can use the DNG Converter on old DNG files, of course). The metadata in the new DNG remains with the original 5.5 values.
Why?
Why not, as least as an option, generate the latest metadata? Don't we, in future, (at least as an option) want to be able to use the latest DNG Converter to bring our old DNGs up to the latest state?

Your old one is physically incapable of running Siri. This is akin to a person being upset that their 3 year old DVD player can't play BluRays...i mean the disc fits in the try so it should work right??????
ANd honestly, I've had Siri on my iPod and I think I've played with it twice. It has to be on the internet to be used so unless you have a 3G device she's inaccessible much of the time

Convert previously converted raw files with Adobe DNG converter?

It seems that i am not able to convert my raw files that have already been previously converted to dng with the dng converter. I am wanting to start editing all over again with the raw image but before i can start editing a raw image, i have to convert it to a .dng. Why won't the converter program let me convert the raw file again and just give me the option of naming it differently than the first file? What am i doing wrong?!
Alternatively, is there any way that i can tell ACR (either in bridge or photoshop) to get rid of all edits made on the first .dng converted file and start over again with in-camera image?

I don't know why your DNG converter has stopped working. Have you updated to a later version? But you don't need to go through that process again. In Bridge, just right click on the images and there is an option to clear the Camera Raw settings. Or, from inside Camera Raw, press the Alt key and one of the buttons will change to "Reset". In either case all camera raw settings are cleared, giving you the image as it was downloaded.

Thanks for the reply, The files are on a DVD disk. I coverted my family VHS tapes to digital dvds using an HP Media Centre PC five or more years ago cant remember the program but if I get info on the disk ,on the Mac it tells me the extension is IDI_DVD.

While the G9 RAW files can be read by Adobe Camera RAW and Lightroom, these file are unsupported at this time. Here is a link to Adobe's latest list of cameras that are supported and this list came out yesterday http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html
I have not done a comparison between Lightroom and Canon's software but others have and say that Canon's software is clearly better. I am sure when Adobe updates their software again to include the G9 it will be a very good RAW converter as it is will most other cameras.

OK, in that event I would get a Toslink to analog converter. There are many sources for these, such as Monoprice and Amazon. They are not expensive.
The fiber optic cable itself is incredibly cheap. Practically free. Don't spend a lot of money on one.
