PR created through CRM service should have receipient field as blank

Hello All,
We are doing enh for receipient field blank when PR creates through CRM service but when the PR creates by CRM badi we are able to generate this receipient field as blank but it overwrites by STD Bapi in R3
Can anyone tell me how i can make this field blank by any R3 badi/user exit or nay other wayout

Hi, Paul!
In CR700 materials there is the next explanation: "Service-based revenue recognition (value/quantity contracts with a target quantity) means that the revenue is realized based on an event. Events are releases that are reflected as service orders or service confirmations. Once again, the billing document is posted to an accruals account first and the revenues are transferred to the revenue accounts in a second step."

Hi All,
I'm trying to ascertain any issues with ERP processing that will not update orders created through CRM, i see there was a OSS Note some time back informing that the backorder reschedule program would not update orders created in the CRM system. Is this still the case and are there any other process that we should be marking as an issue?

Hi Sirisha,
The solution depends on the exact issue you are facing.
The CRM Sales Order is created OK, but you only see the error when you open the Sales Order?
If this is the case, then you can follow the steps below:
1. Find the Message ID and Message No for the error message
2. Use Program - CRM_MESSAGES_DELETE to delete error messages from the error producing Sales Orders.
Let me know if this is not the issue you are facing.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

Fixing a sequence created as 29.97 - should have been 25fps

It's been many years since I edited anything, as I primarily shoot commercials and edits are done by others much more qualified. My last Premiere software was purchased back when Photoshop 5.0 was new . . . so apologies in advance for this senior moment. I am now using Premiere CS5 build 5.0.1.
I shot this 2 camera fashion show as a favour for a friend and thought I did a very nice (but painfully slow) edit of a 6 minute pre-show and runway project. Hundreds of edit points and transitions . . . only to find on exporting to AME that I had stuffed up the sequence frame rate, which is to say it did not match my source FPS.
I shot both cameras as 25P, and created a source sequence @ 29.97 inadvertantly, then went on to create a multicam sequence (also @ 29.97, again, brain fart). I made all my edits and transitions on the multicam 29.97 sequence. I trancoded the sequence as 25p mp2 at high bit rate twice to see if I could get away with it. I tried both with frame blending and without, all at maximum render quality. I also tried to export it as a 29.97 movie and then let encore transcode it back to 25p. All the footage is jumpy as one would expect. The titles especially.
The 29.97 movie plays smooth as silk on my computer. . .
I then tried to then nest my multicam edited footage sequence in a new sequence that is created at 25p. Transcoded that whole project at 25p at all the recommended settings that I took from watching the top moderators sugestions. And that movie plays back just as jumpy.
While it would probably be good practice to re-edit the whole project again . . . I probably should be out trying to make a living right now instead of fixing a pet project for a friend. Fact is, I am not likely to let this just be, as it is too nice not to fix . . .
I thought of exporting and EDL and starting over, but I am not sure if that EDL would be any better in terms of sequence frame rate referencing. And the main thing also is that I thought by nesting the multicam sequence in a 25p sequence, that it should have taken care of all that anyway? Anyone know why that would not have worked, or what I should do now?

Thanks for the input. First off; I did think the transitions were intact, but only after looking closer, saw that all kinds of changes had been made. I did an EDL import but decided that I might just be better off fixing the copy and paste.
That said, We decided that the flash movie looked fine on his website and that for big screen, the H.264 movie I made looked great @ 29.97. SO I'm wrapping this up at that. I also got to play with the H.264 file on a USB stick and plugged into my PS3 which looked great as well, so that's something else I probably would not have tried otherwise.
All in all, I'm having a great time getting back into editing after years of simply shooting. I love PPro CS5. Actually, I'm having a ball with the whole master collection. My son needed it for school work, otherwise I may not have gotten into Encore, Illustrator and After Effects as well. Now I'm itching for a grunty box to make it all work without 4 hour 2 pass transcoding sessions. My 2 year old machine is choking!
Next time I'll pay attention to the basics . . . source footage sequence settings!

VLAN Tagging for VMs created through self service

I am evaluating SCVMM 2012 R2 along with HyperV. The aim is to provide a self service portal for each departments so that they can take care of provisioning and management of their VM. Each department will be using a dedicated VLAN which will be in the TRUNK.
I am planning to make a Priviate Cloud for each group.
Group1 - Private Cloud 1 - VLAN101
Group2 - Private Cloud 2 - VLAN 102
How should we enforce the VMs deployed by each group gets the right VLAN tagging based on the VLAN assigned for them?
At this moment, I dont see that self service user or even an ADMIN get an option to assign a specific VLAN while deploying from template.

First you create a logical network for each network/VLAN you will use. In the logical network you will specify IP Subnet and VLAN. Then create VM Networks for each logical network.
Then you create logical switch and use appropriate teaming mode. Then create a uplink port profile which will be used with the logical switch to specify what logical networks can connect to the logical switch.
Then you connect the logical switch to the correct NICs on the hyper-v servers and use the uplink port profile.

I want to create an ePub2 document should have a proper view in IPAD

I created a ePub document as per the standard epub2 format but it is not to good to view in IPAD. IF i view it in ADE or kindle it is good to look but in IPAD the inline images are even placed in their position. So please anybody help me to built an epub2 document which can be viewed good in both IPAD and ADE. I wanta help that whether any script or code to be added in the EPUB document to make it viewed properly in the book format.

Do check your META-INF folder. It should contain "com.apple.ibooks.display-options.xml" which will make the view same as you do it on ADE.
I know my answer was too late. Please let me know if you had already solved the issue and what was the solution you figured out.

Location services icon blinks on even when no notifications are being used also recently used services should have a purple arrow but mine is grey

My location indicator icon on the tool bar seems to blink on randomly even when I have not used any services. Also when I do use a service I am not seeng the purple icon in the pricacy-location services appearing next to the recently used icon it seems to stay grey. Any ideas? Is this a bug perhaps?

I experience the same thing today. After hanging up from a regular phone call, I noticed the location services icon showing on the status screen of my phone for a split second. I always have my location services off. I checked my privacy settings and there was no record of any program using the location services. What is going on Apple? I was in a familar and secure WiFi network. Is location services secretly turning on thru wifi?

Project which should have 700* photos is blank

Project is present in listing. When cursor held over project name it states
the name and # of versions. Photos are present in Photos section. I cannot
move photos, from photos, into the project. Project also shows up in Projects
section. When I click on the project - no pictures. Cannot figure out where they went : (
Any suggestions would be welcome. Or will I need to create a new project & schlep
pics out photos into the new project ?

Is this your only Aperture Library? If you have another library, any library doesn't matter whats in it, switch to that library then switch back to this library. Do (File->Switch to Library)
If you don't have another library then create one and then switch back.
Sounds odd but I've had a similar problem on occasion since moving to 3.1 and this has caused the 'missing' projects to reappear. There is definitely some sort of redraw problem in 3.1 Seen it in the white balance brick and most recently in the the crop brick. Values not getting updated even though the operation on the image is working as it should.

How can I quit my iPhoto screen that as crashed and locked on. The locked screen has no iPhoto file list on the left and the part of the screen that should have uploaded photos is blank except for the rotating download icon in the centre of screen. Help?I

My SD card reader has caused my iPhoto screen to be locked with no list of files on the lefthand side and a blank main photo area apart from the rotating download icon operating in the centre of the photo part of the screen.
I have tried to quit iphoto but when I restart it the same locked screen appears.
I believe I caused this problem when I removed my SD device without first ejecting it when the blank screen appeared without downloading my new photos.
Can anyone help a 66 year old computer illiterate fool ?.

Use Force Quit (under the Apple menu at the top) to close iPhoto. Then try opening it again. If it locks up again force quit and try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists.
If the problem does not persist try the following: make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Command+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
If the problem persists in the test library do the following: make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

In one of my requirement, when a customer and Contact person is created in ECC or CRM a Mail should send to the user who created. There is
middleware setting between ECC and CRM. Mail Should trigger in CRM system only.
I know to trigger email for transaction data using Action Profile.
Could any One guide me to trigger email notification for Master data (Business Partner).

1.I think it would normally be done through a mini wf which should start on event "partner created".
Your wf should have another step with a custom method to determine the email address and feed it to a container. You would then use this container in a subsequent email step with recipient type "email address".
2.In the case of actions I think you should use as processing time the option : Processing using the Selection Report (Action Monitor) (tnx sppfp)
As processing type you should probably have a method that sends an email.
Most likely the recipient email address should be determined in the same method by reading the attribute BusinessPartnerERM.CreatedBy.
In the scheduling conditions you could use the standard attribute BusinessPartnerERM.CreatedOn, in a combination like BusinessPartnerERM.CreatedOn = Today () ;

 I have created one KM Global Service from the com.sap.netweaver.kmc.globalservice.zip file. I have created the Global Service project by importing this zip file as Multiple Existing Projects into workspace in NWDS 7.0 SP 9....
I have referenced all the jar files to the project, no errors in the project....
When i try to deploy this project, i am getting the error in the view description as below:
com.sap.portal.plugins.config-archiver: Cannot create config archive (you should have a valid data or meta folder) com.sap.netweaver.kmc.globalservice
Please help me in this regard, its very urgent.

CRM service : The organisation which are providing service for there sold products mostly implelents SAP CRM Service.
i.e. LG is providing service for there sold products TV, A/C and many more.
Now the scenario is like this each company is having there differnt methods to provide service for products.
Service is always calculated with help warranty period for each product which is sold.And we have to MAP all the Service process for client in SAP CRM.
suppose take this scenario as example :
foe service center of LG :
1) The employee at service center will get a call for providing service for one of the product which was sold by LG e.g. TV.
2) Then at service center end the employee will raise the service order for this LG TV.
3) Now order will contain the header and item data for that LG TV.
4) Then this service order will be processed at various stages e.g after raising the open service order technician will get that ref order no and then technician will visit the customers home for analysing the LG TV then he will again come to service center and updatyes the service order i.e. Is that TV is within the warrenty or not depends on that type of service order will be decide is In Warrenty service order or out waarenty service order.
4) Finaaly it will get settled at the upper most level where that the completed status.
5) One more thing all craeted service orders are getting replicated to ECC as a sales order.
Rest of the scenarios are almost same like CRM Sales.
But in CRM Service you have to face different different Methods of providing service for customer and its tough to MAP in SAP because every Compny is having there on process of giving service to the customers .

Please make sure you have the correct dependency versions e.g. cxf-rt-frontend-jaxws version 3.0.2. You can find a list of all dependencies for the Bing Ads Java

If you create a Maven project e.g. in Eclipse, the dependencies are included automatically.
